The critical reviews
The one and two-star reviews, first. These are what a star average hides, and they are the reason this page exists.
The only one or two-star review we hold for Shepard Roofing.

Avoid Shepard Roofing. The work is sloppy, they cannot communicate effectively with clients, and they do not stand by their service. They did repairs on our rubber roof 4.5 years ago, and it's already falling apart (see photo). Our warranty is good for another five years, so we asked someone to return and repair the rips. After several weeks fighting with the owner, someone finally came back out -- he took 30 minutes to smear glue over the rips, which fell off after one rainfall. They refuse to return our calls and now we're having to spend more money to have a reputable company fix their mess.

Steve's team did a great job patching our roof after some water damage. They came out the next day after I called, quoted a reasonable price for the work, and finished the job the same day.

I needed a leaking roof vent replaced. Steve answered the phone when I called and quickly came out for a quote. The price was fair and Steve and Matt arrived 2 days later and finished the job in two hours. Better than the original vent and also checked on a raised shingle while up there. I am very pleased with Shepard Roofing and highly recommend them.

As a long time customer of Shepard roofing, I was once again amazed at the professionalism I received with a recent project. I had my roof damaged from a tree branch and I also needed a small shed shingled. Shepard roofing’s guys were quick …

I was in a pinch and needed a professional's assessment and Steve not only came out within a couple days, stopped by multiple times! Over and above what was needed, super helpful and got me going in the right direction!!

I have used Shepard Roofing twice (once for roof shingles that came loose and once for a gutter that came loose) and both times Steve arrived very quickly and did an excellent job fixing the problem. He was very polite and professional. I would recommend!

Where this page comes from
Every figure above is Google’s, captured on 24 September 2026. The star average and the 8 ratings behind it are counted by Google across all of its reviews. The review text on this page is a sample — we hold 8, of which 8 have any text — and it is not everything Google shows.
Roof Warden does not verify licenses, bonds, insurance or workers’ compensation cover, and nothing on this page should be read as though we had. Confirm those directly with the contractor and with your state or provincial licensing body before you hire anyone.
There is not much data on Shepard Roofing. A short record here means our capture found little — not that there is nothing to find, and not that the business is new or inactive.
