  Very lackadaisical and inexcusably slow on getting the job done. It has been over a month on a siding my mother's house when the job could have and SHOULD have been completed in two weeks maximum. They brush off all inquiries as to why the job is taking so long. The crew shows up late, works a few hours(punctuated by frequent breaks where they lounge around and play on their phones) and leaves. Sometimes they don't show up for days. They use weather as a frequent excuse, but aside from once or twice, those excuses are completely invalid. I do not recommend this company. I'm close to filing a report to the Better Business Bureau.

  The crew that did the roof on the house where i live intentionally left enough debris in my gutters to clog them . I also found razor blades in my lawn. Will not recommend this company.

  We just spoke with your landlord. We are happy to hear that she is 100% satisfied. It is unfortunate that she felt the need to be apologetic by hearing the news about your review. We assure you, no one intentionally did anything to inconveinence you or do anything but provide good service for Ms. F. We would have liked to hear about any of your concerns months ago when the job was done. Perhaps you and my husband can work this out next time you see one another? Update: I understand this is a complaint of what happened before the final clean up. The crew did return and cleaned the gutters. I do apologize if you found a razor. Of course, thats not something we want in anyone's yard. This is also new information for us and hard to know or do anything about 2 months later. My understanding is, the crew and Jason did multiple things to accommadate you as a tenant of the property, hoping to make the project to be done and the least inconveinence possible. Again, I apologize that you were not satisfied in this situation.

  Messy Roofing Crew & they plugged in to the neighbors power on the outside of their house.

  Even though this review was not something we want left, we had hoped the numerous phone calls attempting to resolve the issue on this rental property had been resolved with yourself. However, we had spoken with the management in charge of your particular rental, and the matter had been resolved with them. We do apologize that you feel inconvenienced by some of the mess that was left behind. We had hoped you had realized that the roof was done when temperatures were below freezing and some debris was left in snow and ice. We also hope you do realize that much of it was caused by the dumpster company and during the time the dumpster was broken on the side of your street. It is also common practice for a company to knock on the door of a neighbor and ask to use power if homeowners are not at home or there is no access. Since this is new for us to work with or dealing with tenants, we had more trouble asking for power to fix the roof (which is on the property you reside in) so that we could install a roof that would prevent damage to any of your property or the property to which it is owned by. Regardless, this matter is resolved and scheduled for another cleaning when temperatures are more appropriate and someone is free on their schedule to make it as clean as it was before anyone installed the roof. Again, we apologize you felt so hurt by this matter, but I assure you... it has been addressed numerous times and there is a plan to have this matter sufficient for all parties involved.

  I couldn't be more thrilled with this company!. Jason is easy to work with and his crew went above and beyond, completing everything in one day in addition to moving things i could not...clean up was immaculate!! Put everything back just as it was!! A special thank you to Gilbert for pointing out some issues that could have been problematic down the line!! PERFECT ALL THE WAY AROUND!!!

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ SEDLOCK DESERVES AN AWARD. We bought our house under the pitch that the roof and windows were NEW. Four years later, leaks started—and Werner basically left us hanging and pointed the finger at the subcontractor who actually did the roof: Sedlock. THANK GOD THEY DID. 😂 Carmen was fantastic from the first phone call. Friendly, responsive, knowledgeable—and within DAYS, her partner drove over an hour to our house, at no cost to us, and came prepared to actually fix the problem. Not just inspect it. FIX IT. He even found issues with our “new” upstairs windows that had absolutely nothing to do with Sedlock and took the time to show me what was wrong and how to fix it. Werner may have screwed us, but Sedlock absolutely did not. Good people. Good work. They actually care and stand behind what they do. Next time I need roofing work, I already know who I’m calling. I’ll definitely be trying to snag Sedlock again. 😂 10/10. Give Carmen and her crew an award. ☝️

  Jason mentioned you left a really nice review, and he had asked me if I read it. I had a few minutes to read it this morning and was honestly pleasantly surprised. I am not mentioned too often in customer reviews. I am just the phone lady, or the person behind the scenes. So I had actually blushed a little reading your review. I am not always the sweetest voice on the other line, but I am firm on my belief that the person I am speaking to has some sort of problem, and if I can help in any way, then I should do so. It really shouldn't be hard to at least hear someone out. It also shouldnt be an issue for a company to take ownership. We have discussed this and agreed that a contract is a form of responsibility and expectation. At the very least, it isnt asking too much for someone to come and take a look. We are all busy, but that's part of business. We work hard to offer our customers the respect and consideration we would want as homeowners. Just that simple.   If anyone had a challenge in front of them for a project, it was Sedlock Construction. We had some very specific ideas, wants, needs, and “oh, and can we also…” requests that all needed to somehow come together to bring our vision for the house to life. We consulted with several companies, but once we met with Jason, we knew we had found the right business. From start to finish, every request and detail was listened to, honored, and accomplished - even the ones that probably made them wonder what they had gotten themselves into. The crews were easy to work with, highly skilled, and took pride in what they were doing. Jason was always a phone call or text away, which made the whole process feel personal and reassuring. And most importantly, we love the results! The compliments from family and friends just keep coming so apparently we didn’t completely lose our minds with all those ideas. We are beyond happy with our experience and would highly recommend Sedlock Construction to anyone looking for quality work, attention to detail, and a personal touch. They took our crazy ideas, made sense of them, and somehow turned them into exactly what we envisioned. Now THAT is talent!

  They went over and above, very professional. When our roof (which looks AMAZING) was completed you couldn't even tell by looking on the ground or in the bushes (which we have a lot) that a roofing crew had been here for a couple days. Would highly recommend to anyone that needs a new roof! Thanks Guys!!!!!

  Sedlock Construction just finished our house (built in the 60's). We wanted a high-quality product (Class 4 roofing and Class 4 siding). First, there are very few roofing and siding firms that offer an upgrade to higher quality products. Second, Jason Sedlock's prices were lower than the other firms we had submit bids. (Found out some companies rely on people needing work after storm damage and use inferior products. They are willing to carry you on credit and this comes at a very high interest rate and added cost - they figure you did not plan or had saved for a new roof or siding so you are ripe for the picking.) We wanted higher quality products as it will lower our insurance, and we also will gain an additional R+2 with the siding product (product has stiff insulation under a thicker vinyl exterior). My project also required working with Rock River Electric to coordinate removing my 55 solar panels (and reinstalling after roofing). Rock River did a drone video of the solar panels being reinstalled on the new roof that can be seen on their website. The solar workers were amazed that the roofing was not shedding gravel particles during their solar panel reinstallation. Both the roofing and the siding crews were pleasant, very experienced, and did not use profane language - amazing how many do). Both crews were consistent and cared about doing top quality work completed in a timely manner. We also had new gutters added to our project - went from 5-inch gutters to 6-inch as we have found rainfall has increased in recent years. We have had lots of compliments on our siding and roof - the higher quality products look different and cleaner. There were places where the plywood under the previous roofing or fascia needed replacing. They also wrapped our house with a high-quality house wrap. The crew were quite capable of dealing with this and the price was reasonable. We were also able to select contracting colors and our design included horizontal and vertical siding.
