  Horrible experience. Almost $25,000 dollars in work to be performed. Roof, facia, soffit, gutters. Scope of work to remove aluminum facia and replace with new. Was inside on a Saturday when the whole house started to shake. Walked out to find the gentlemen (who didn't speak any English and could not communicate with him) ripping the gable end facia board with a sawzall, mind you holding almost at a 45 degree angle to remove over an 1 1/2" of material so they did not have to use an aluminum brake in their installation. No where in the contract or was it ever verbally communicated that this was their process. Obviously they would have been told no. When I made the phone call and expressed my concerns, Howard Hawthorn stated he didn't have time to babysit our job as he had others to attend to. Unprofessional in every manner. Every aspect of their work has been unprofessional. We have had many contractors and inspectors look at our roof all stating their concerns. This work was completed in July and we still have no gutters on our house. We hired them under the assumption it would be a stress and worry free process having someone with 20+ years experience handle the install. This has proven to be a complete nightmare. All we expected was a roof of equal or better quality and not bandaids to be placed everywhere. Quality and reviews would be a -5 star review. Choose carefully when picking a contractor, do yourself the favor. Will be contacting The Better Business Bureau on the matter. Wanting to know the boundaries on where insurance scams come into play.

  Completely unprofessional company that does not deserve any rating above 1 star. My grandmother trusted these people, believing they were a reputable business. We were all wrong. Shoddy work, horrible attitudes, rude employees, disgusting customer service and overall yet another business that spits in the eye of every other decent business. I don’t know how a company can continue to operate like this. You do NOT do work on a house (regardless of where or what it is) just to ignore the customer when something goes wrong with the work that YOU did. There’s a lack of professionalism and basic decent respect for human beings that are PAYING YOU. I have already made my report and will never ever in a million years let anyone work with this company until there is ACTUAL CHANGE. DO BETTER.

  I highly recommend avoiding this company. They have completely wasted my elderly parents time. My parents are elderly and handicapped, and I reached out to this company for some work to be performed at their house. Their salesman Phil came out and started the process of an estimate. After several weeks and multiple phone calls and text messages, I still could not get an estimate from these guys. After reaching out to the office several times they had their salesman call me back and he had a terrible attitude And offered no resolve. Management wouldn’t even take the time to acknowledge the problem or even call me back.

  Would not recommend!! They installed a roof on the home we just purchased 3 years prior. Our first week in the house in rained and the roof leaked. I contacted them and they sent DJ out to look at the roof leak as he installed the roof. Charged us a fee to come out since they only guarantee the roof for 2 years and he couldnt even definitively tell me where it was leaking from. Followed up with him for 5 weeks asking for an estimate on repairs and he just kept saying he was waiting for his boss to get back to him. Still have not heard from him 4 months later. Very unresponsive and unprofessional. Did not care about the quality of the work they did at all.

  DJ, the Project Manager, and his contractors from Midwest Complete in Rock Island, IL, did professional and excellent work inside and outside our house and home. Additionally, DJ went above and beyond to ensure the electrical and plumbing work was done correctly. Because of the repairs, our electric and water bills have decreased significantly. DJ also saw to some extra touches. Overall, we are happy with the work and repairs.

  Excellent job repairing shingles and installing new gutter covers on back of house. Also cleaned two downspouts. I made an error on the survey card so it’s no being returned! Sorry!

  We are grateful to have found Midwest Complete Construction to replace our roof including the flat roof for our front porch. We have solicited a total of 7 bids before signing up with Midwest Complete Construction. (1) High quality of work with competitive price The crew has done a meticulous job cleaning up the old planks (vintage house), covering with new OSB, and installing new shingles. The completion of flat roof was equally well done. The post-installation clean-up is spotless so that one would not even know that the crew was there. Meanwhile, in light of the competitive pricing, we believe the company has provided highly value added services. (2) Transparent and timely communication Phillip is our project manager. He always keeps us posted of every step of the process: before, during, and after the project. Especially, we were on a tight schedule to get the roof done before getting approved by our insurer for continuation of insurance coverage (by the way, be aware of some insurance companies who randomly pick on homeowners and give short notice) . Phillip understood our predicament, put our interest at his priority, and worked around the complexity of project management to ensure our roofing to be completed before the deadline. He is also very knowledgeable about the structure of the vintage house in general which put us at ease. We highly recommend Midwest Complete Construction and, especially, you will enjoy working with Phillip if he happens to be your project manager.

  Such a great company, we keep hiring them. Did a roof replacement on the home we bought recently. Affordable price, clear communication (Phil is fantastic), short timeline, courteous workers, excellent cleanup afterward, and hey, the roof looks great too! Already planning my next project (gutters) with them.

  I am very happy with my new roof. Phillip gave me a fair quote and kept me updated and informed all the way through the process. More importantly, he took time to explain different options that enabled me to make the best decisions for the project. Would definitely use them again.
