Extremly unreliable!!! Sargon Construction installed our roof few years ago. We called them this spring, after we got a few leaks. They came out for the estimate and promised to get back to us as soon as possible with a written estimate, since it was an insurance claim and there was a deadline. Waited for 2 months for the estimate and the work to be started. Countless calls and excuses, while the leak destroyed my ceiling and kitchen cabinet. In the end another appointment was scheduled, and no one showed up. Called again and left messages and never got a call back.

I had an urgent situation where the recent heavy storms in Chicagoland ended up tearing off a bolted on old satellite dish on the roof. We were supposed to close on selling our house a day after the storms and caused a delay in closing. We …

Peter is very knowledgeable and friendly. He came right away to access damage to our siding and roof. He also gave us a great recommendation for chemicals to use due to wasps spotted. Lastly he gave us several options on window replacements that we were already looking for a quote for so he was a “jack of all trades” and I would recommend him to anyone who is in the need for quotes for repairs on roof and windows.

Peter and Sargon were recommended by my brother. I am glad that I listen to my brother as they did a fantastic job. The new roof gave my house a new look and great curb appeal. I will be recommending others to Peter and his company. Thanks for a great job.

Its been such a great experience working with Pete from Sargon Construction. From start to finish, he made the entire window replacement process incredibly easy and straightforward. He walked me through every step, gave honest recommendations, and even pointed out a few ways to improve energy efficiency in my home that I would’ve never thought of. Craftsmanship and pride in ones work is very hard to find these days but I'm glad I found Pete and his team. The windows he helped me choose are absolutely amazing (Pictures attached) German-engineered and imported, with technology I didn't know existed. You can really feel the difference. Pete clearly knows his craft, and it shows in how he explains things. His crew was just as impressive; their craftsmanship was top-tier, and you can tell they take pride in their work. They understand homes inside and out and know exactly what products work best for each situation. I’m genuinely thrilled with how everything turned out, and I’m already planning to have Pete handle my siding and roof next. If you’re looking for someone who is knowledgeable, trustworthy, and does exceptional work, give Pete at Sargon Construction a call. You’ll be glad you did.

After many unsatisfactory roof replacement quotes due to pricing, time-frame, or comfortability with the contractors, we were finally referred to Sargon Construction. Peter was very knowledgeable and honest the whole way through the process. Sargon was competitive with pricing and used the best materials possible at any budget level offered. After the roof was completed, the comparison of our roof to our neighbors recently refinished roof is why we trusted Peter and he earned our business. During this comparison, Sargon really outshined the competition. The drip-edges are straight and not buckling, there are no waves in the ridge-vents or valleys, and the materials themselves were higher quality. If you are unfamiliar with roofing materials and options available or even the process of replacement, Peter takes pride in his explanations and answering questions. I wish we would have found Sargon and Peter before expending so much time searching for the right company to do business with. Update: Years later and new home and another roof but same Peter same great experience! This time a little more complex situation with multiple floors and varying areas of damage and concern. Cannot express enough how grateful we are to have Sargon. Peter gave multiple options for repair versus replace and recommendations for additional chimney work to be completed. End result of Peter's patience, we decided to do full roof replacement instead of repair knowing the peace of mind it would bring for years. This was a perfect time for some additional services such as upsizing the downspouts and adding shutters to our home also completed by Sargon.
