  We cannot recommend Sailors Construction. We hired Sailors Construction to replace our roof in June 2020. The job is still not complete. There is zero level of competence with this group, and customer service is not a priority. Communication from Sailors Construction is filled with excuses, and it is unbelievable to us that we are still dealing with this company when the roof replacement should have been a 1-2 day job and done. We regret choosing Sailors Construction for our roofing needs. Beware, and please do your homework when choosing a roofing company.

  I certainly apologize that you didn’t experience the 5 star treatment with us at Sailors Construction. We aim to satisfy all of our customers. Sailors Construction had never experienced Covid and due to the country being shut down materials were and are still in high demand. The roof was indeed completed in a days time however, due to the request of the homeowner we had to remove gutter apron from a 3’ section, once removed homeowner requested that it be reinstalled. Still due to the framing the structure of the home was left uneven. I brought a Custom builder out to the residence which indeed explained that due to settling of the home this issue was not from the roof. I brought a gutter man out to adjust the gutter so that the uneven rafters would be hidden a little more. Then I took my repair man to make a change to the small area & yet again it still wasn’t what homeowner wanted. I ended up taking my roofer back out and we custom bent 6” metal, laid all new felt, starter and finally the difficult shingle color was in stock after the manufacturer was closed. The 6” metal was custom bent to help hide the framers errors. In April 2021 we finally closed the job. We spent tireless hours and an exceptional amount of labor was put into making your home exactly how you wanted it without reframing . Again, I apologize that this treatment was only one star. I tried to go above and beyond. The roof was purchased by the homeowners insurance which did not pay for any of the extra wood rot, facia replacement, soffit replacement and the extra labor that Sailors Construction covered before running into the framing flaw. We appreciate your business.
