The first three are Google’s own figures for Sage Roofing, read on 24 September 2026; the share is of every rating Google has counted, not of the review texts on this page. The median is ours — the middle figure among the Idaho roofers we list with enough ratings to compare.

Too few ratings to compare against other roofers — at 3 ratings a single unhappy customer moves this figure by several points.
The critical reviews
The one and two-star reviews, first. These are what a star average hides, and they are the reason this page exists.
The only one or two-star review we hold for Sage Roofing.

Sage builders have completed 2 roof replacements for my family over the last several recent years. 2 years ago, if you asked me about my experience, I would say they were top notch. As things go problems started to arise, which happens (we can't always be available to watch over our workers). A professional company would address the issue and determine if it was the fault of employees or an act of god and fix the issue with with some possible charges based on the determination. This is not the case with Sage. First, if you can get them to answer the phone or call you back, they will fill you full of excuses and missed times to show up to your property. Then, when you try calling from your typical number there's no answer, but use a spouse's phone and suddenly they answer. Needless to say, after months of waiting, we hired another contractor to fix what was wrong with the roof. The result was improper installation of the product, but like I said earlier these things happen and professionals fix the issue. So if you like people that break appointments and probably block the phone number from a concerned customer, then Sage Builders is the contractor for you! ETA: We have only ever worked with Nate. Perhaps their other owner/employees care more about their customer service, but in our experience, Nate did not.

Sage roofing has to be one of the most honest companies i have had the privilege to work with. They are definitely top notch. They are not going to try to make you do something you don't need. They go out of their way to make things safe and right. I will always recommend them to everyone.

Where this page comes from
Every figure above is Google’s, captured on 24 September 2026. The star average and the 3 ratings behind it are counted by Google across all of its reviews. The review text on this page is a sample — we hold 3, of which 2 have any text — and it is not everything Google shows.
Roof Warden does not verify licenses, bonds, insurance or workers’ compensation cover, and nothing on this page should be read as though we had. Confirm those directly with the contractor and with your state or provincial licensing body before you hire anyone.
There is not much data on Sage Roofing. A short record here means our capture found little — not that there is nothing to find, and not that the business is new or inactive.
