  We have an older home built in the 30's. It had a shake roof and as it turned out it had 3 layers. I've been told older homes often have issues when installing a replacement roof and ours did not disappoint! There were several costly issues. The team on the roof were all excellent workers, they worked and communicated with each other very well. Doing a terrific job. Eric, worked with us explaining what needed to be done and how it was going to happen. He and Tyler worked with us to make it affordable. I cannot express enough what a great job the workers did including the cleanup and completion time. Amazing

  Safecover came to save the day.....we had a couple of trees drop on our house from a big windstorm in December....they were able to come check everything out quickly and get our house back together and looking beautiful again....I would use Safecover roofing again for any other project that I have in the future. They repaired our trusses fixed our siding and gutters.

  Safecover has done two of our homes to date. Amazingly efficient and clean up was fabulous. Safecover obviously cares for their employees as all I came in to contact with were genuinely polite when the bosses were not around! Call them for an estimate as pictures are provided along with fair pricing.

  Safecover came ready to work. Communication was great, no surprises. The crew had great attention to detail throughout the project, including clean up. We would definitely recommend these guys if you want quality work, quick completion , and great communication about the project beforehand and during.

  Best experience of my homeownership. Professional, understanding service. Met with them on Wednesday, roof was on by Friday! Nothing for me to clean up afterwards.

A pressure washer available at any Centralia rental shop can strip the protective granules from an asphalt shingle in under two seconds. For a Toledo or Napavine farmhouse roof covered in moss and black streaks, pressure washing feels like the obvious solution. It removes the growth. It also removes 18 to 36 months of remaining roof life with each pass. The moss and dark biological growth that accumulate on Lewis County roofs (especially north-facing slopes and shaded areas near Onalaska) are a biological problem. The correct treatment is chemical, not mechanical. A sodium hypochlorite solution at 1 to 3 percent concentration kills the root structure of moss and the Gloeocapsa magma bacteria behind algae streaks. The growth dies and lifts off over 60 to 90 days of normal rainfall, with no physical contact needed on the granule surface. This approach, called soft-wash or low-pressure wash, does not void manufacturer warranties on asphalt shingles. Pressure washing at 2,000 PSI or above voids most warranties on contact and granule loss is immediate. Most rental units in the Chehalis area deliver 3,000 PSI or higher. That is not a cleaning pressure for asphalt. It is a stripping pressure.2 days ago
