10 STARS! This gentleman, I didn't get his name was doing some repairs on my neighbors house. I asked if he could help replace some bulbs for me, I don't like heights and don't have a 24 ft ladder. He replaced and refused to take my money. You dont meet many people like that anymore. I definitely recommend this company.

We were referred to Jeff and Roofing by the Book by a neighbor. We had a great experience from start to finish. They did an excellent job on our roof and gutters. Their pricing was very fair compared to other quotes we received, and there were no surprises. Jeff is excellent with communication and kept us informed throughout the entire process and showed up when they said they would. The crew worked so hard to do everything right and they were very clean throughout the process. Overall, this was a smooth and stress-free experience. I would recommend them 100% to anyone needing roofing work or gutters!

We hired Jeff and his team to replace our 17 year old roof. Jeff is professional and delivers on his word. From the start of our repair/installation we knew what our timeline was and when it would be completed. The team on site were respectful and cleaned up after themselves. I can't say enough good things about this company. They are locally owned and operated and are by far a 5 star company.

I can't say enough about how happy we are with the job Jeff and his crew did on our roof. Jeff came to give us our estimate and was so thorough. He went up on the roof, took pictures of areas of concern, and explained their process, answering all our questions, and sending the estimate via email. After getting other estimates and deciding to go with Jeff's company, he came back with samples, and then came back again when I requested some additional color samples. He scheduled us explaining his crew would start early, which we were fine with, and they finished the same day. Everything was cleaned up and they left us as very satisfied customers! We highly recommend Roofing by the Book!

I got three quotes for a roof replacement that wasn’t going to be covered by insurance and Jeff was by far the best. But more importantly than that, he was very honest and transparent throughout the process. He did exactly what he said and went above and beyond. It’s hard to find a trustworthy roofing company, but this is it!

Jeff Anderson is very personable and professional. He won't try to sell you something you do not need. In other words he is honest. That can be a difficult trait to find these days. I definitely recommend Roofing By the Book.

Jeff was highly recommended to us and he did not fall short. His price was excellent. Once scheduled, his crew was very prompt and they finished the same day. I would recommend using Roofing By The Book. As a matter of fact, a neighbor saw his work and came by to inquire about our satisfaction. Very well done!

Jeff gave me the best price using the best shingles and material. They re-roofed my house, my two car garage, and an out building and was finished and cleaned up, and gone by 3:30pm. An outstanding job.

Thanks for the great review and recommendation, Bette! We are thrilled you were so happy with your experience working with us!

You might not realize it, but rainwater moving off a roof carries immense force. Without a clear path away from the house, the pouring water falls directly onto the soil beneath the roofline. Over time, this constant pooling creates deep channels in the dirt next to your crawl space or foundation and could lead to […] The post How Gutter Guards Prevent Water from Damaging Your Home’s Foundation first appeared on Roofing By The Book, LLC.Aug 10, 2026Learn more
