  Bought a house last year. The roof was replaced by Jesse in November of 2017. We found out while having some other repairs done that the roof was in bad shape. Holes in the plywood. Buckling in a few areas. I had Jesse come out to take a look. See what he could do. He was extremely unprofessional. Told me that he didn't deal with me and the job was signed for and he wouldn't back his work. All the photos of his work are from the outside. People go check your attic and make sure the job was done right.

  Thank you for the review. Your issue wasn’t an issue at all. It was purely cosmetic regarding a piece of plywood in your attic. I also explained our warranty wasn’t properly transferred when you purchased the home and you obviously didn’t like hearing that which resulted in this review. Respectfully, Jesse Walker

  Very unprofessional I called for an estimate they showed up and left. They never called and gave us an estimate they wasted our time if you couldn't do the work you should have said that. If I could give this unprofessional company -0 stars then I would.

  Recently read all of these wonderful reviews and was sure they were going to be with winners when I asked for quotes. They were the second to come out and look at my roof. I made it clear in the email what I wanted - a complete redo - the roof, flashing, trim - everything - Danika said no problem. We had 2 leaks in the roof and one on the porch. They had someone out in a week - it took another week to get the quote. The paperwork did not list anything around the porch, trim, a complete redoing of the roof or replacement of the gutters. It was a roof tune up for my townhome 1100 sq ft $4500 - about what my neighbor paid for his whole new roof - not bad considering my pitch is much worse but not what I asked for. When I brought this up in my reply email I was told "We truly appreciate you considering us for the work that you need on your home. However, we do not feel that we will be able to dedicate ourselves to providing the level of service that you need at this time. We are still a very small business and we have recently been inundated with a large number of new clients and are it would be some time before we could begin any work on your home. I wish you the very best with finding a contractor who will be able to take on your project in a more timely manner!" I don't even know what the hell that means - I asked for a new roof, trim because the wood is rotting and there are holes and I get basically told get lost.

  When we noticed a leak in our bedroom, we did some research and found that Jesse was highly recommended in a few local Facebook groups. He came out promptly to investigate, and was able to identify a few issues with the installation of the original roof. We ended up replacing the shingles on the main roof, coating the standing seam roof at the rear, and replacing the garage roof, which had been leaking due to poor patch jobs. We cannot recommend working with Jesse enough. He was working with the crew throughout the whole project, making sure every detail was correct. He was communicative and transparent about every decision that we needed to weigh in on, and we really enjoyed working with him. His crews were exceedingly conscientious, cleaning up as they worked. Thank you, Jesse, and all of the guys on the crew.

  Excellent guy and an excellent job done. Professional, fast, efficient, and friendly! This company saved our house and did it in 3 hours . Not to mention we barely heard them on the roof! Our 2nd floor used to read 85* in the summer with the central ac on fool blast! Today (with a heat advisory) our upstairs is 73*. Truly amazing what this company did. Thanks a million !!!!

  I hired J.R. Walker Roofing to install new gutters and downspouts recently and the experience was great from start to finish. Jesse was friendly, professional, and took the time to answer all my questions when I was gathering quotes. He also provided a clear, and detailed estimate with no surprises. Price-wise, it wasn't the lowest price quoted, but it was very competitive and I felt the additional details he provided in our conversations and his estimate helped me feel confident it was worth it. They also recommended going with 6" gutters over the standard 5", and I'm glad I listened. The new gutters look great, and while we haven't had a big rain yet, they seem like they should perform much better than our old ones. Installation day was super smooth. They arrived on time, worked efficiently, and then did a thorough job of cleaning up the worksite. Overall, like I mentioned it was a great experience, and I'd highly recommend them!

  Jesse and his work crew were fantastic. They replaced two roofs for me in a very timely fashion, expertly done, and so easy to work with. They cleaned up everything really well, too! Definitely would use them again. Very knowledgeable about all kinds of roofs.

  We recently had our roof replaced and went with a local company, J.R. Walker Roofing. It was 100% the right call. I had some anxiety going into the process of replacing my roof since it’s a big investment, not something you do often and pretty permanent. The owner, Jesse made that part easy. He walked me through materials, color options, and what he thought would actually look best on my house. We ended up going with Black Shadow, and the before and after difference is honestly kind of wild. The house looks cleaner, more modern, and just more put together overall. It feels like the roof job really elevated everything. What really stood out was how hands-on Jesse was. He was onsite the whole time, not just checking in, but actually involved and making sure everything was done right. That goes a long way. Also worth calling out, their cleanup was next level. It wasn’t something they saved for the end of the day. They were cleaning as they worked the entire time, which made the whole process feel way more organized and respectful of the property. The crew worked efficiently, paid attention to details, and there were no surprises. Just a really smooth experience start to finish. If you’re stressing about replacing your roof like I was, definitely consider talking to Jesse at J.R. Walker Roofing. Working with someone local who actually cares makes a HUGE difference. Would definitely recommend J.R. Walker Roofing.

  We just had our roof replaced and we are very impressed. Jesse was so easy to work with, answered all our questions and gave us options whenever possible. His crew were nice, always working and respectful while they were on site. Once the job was finished they left the property completely clean. We highly recommend J.R. Walker Roofing.

  J.R. Walker Roofing did a truly excellent job installing a new roof for us. They provided a good, detailed estimate. They answered a bunch of questions we had and once we hired them, they started the work promptly. The crew worked diligently and completed the job in just two days. The clean up was perfect.   Jesse was the first of 3 companies I asked for bids on replacing the entire roof on my century old home. It was a complicated job with both a flat roof, slate, and shingles. Jesse got on the roof for a thorough inspection prior to presenting me with a detailed estimate, complete with photos, of the job ahead. Two other companies said they didn't need to look at the roof. The estimate included a description of materials being used and a timeline which he met. Due to city space confinements, getting equipment close enough to the house to remove the existing roof and scaffolding up to replace it, Jesse had to use his ingenuity. The job was one of the most difficult he'd done, but every day the worksite was cleaned up before the workers left. The roof finally has been free of leaks for the first time since I moved here. Jesse knows his work very well, is easy to communicate with, keeps his word, and gets my vote for best roofer around. I've referred him to several others needing roof repair or replacement or fixing a problem other companies didn't fix. So far no one has had anything but excellent comments on his work.

  I called Jesse at JR walker roofing because a home inspection for the sale of house required a chimney cap to be installed. He answered right away, was very responsive via email and had the job done very quickly at a reasonable price. would highly recommend.
