  Had to change my review. He did great work the first time I called him out, but called out to address another issue, which he started and then never finished. Have been chasing him for months with unreturned calls and texts.

  Can't comment on his work as I did not officially hire him, but I found his sign nailed to my fence with a dozen roofing nails. I did not ask for a sign on my fence as I have never heard of this guy. In the future, please do not nail your sign on my fence as I do not appreciate having to remove a bunch of roofing nails.

  Sadly personal circumstances with Don are affecting his ability to work and he has made away with $5000 of our deposit with only shoddy work left in return. This isn’t to say in the future he won’t be able to do it, but he has a lot to work on if he wants to get back to the reputation he had. Full story: Don was referred to us by a friend and had stellar reviews all over the internet. Don’s quote was within $200-$300 of two other roofing companies so we went with him and on June 10th we gave him our deposit with him. At this point the excuses came in each week, blaming things like the weather, even on weeks when there was good weather. He finally showed up on July 28 with one helper. My wife asked if he wanted us to move our car at the end of our driveway, to which he replied no he should be ok, and then backed into our car scratching the rear bumper up. A little work was achieved, but it wasn’t much. The next day (Tuesday) he returned on his own, completed a few hours of work ripping shingles off and throwing them off the side of the house onto the ground between our house and our neighbour’s house, then passed out in his truck for 3.5 hours from 2:50 PM to 6:20 PM with his truck running. I checked on him several times, he said he was ok, then passed back out shortly after. I went on the roof as he slept to check on the progress, found he had puked on our old shingles and found what appeared to be drugs in a pouch beside a torch at the peak of our house. He left that night with that full mess between the houses only to return an hour later in a tow truck towing his truck and trailer back to our house. A peace officer stopped his vehicle (the tow truck driver said it was unroadworthy) and he was going to leave his truck at our house to be fixed while he worked on our roof. He couldn’t pay the tow truck driver, asked my wife if we could pay for it, then got his mom to pay for it over the phone. The next day Don showed up and put in a full day of work with the few

  Superbly quick to respond and massively helped us out in a bind for a repair. He was able to get to our site within a couple hours and give a thorough explanation of what was wrong, the implications, an accurate quote and photos. He even was able to finish the same day, very late into the evening. Highly recommend Roofer Don.

  In a blizzard storm, Don did not hesitate to come out at 10:30pm to inspect our roof! Thankfully it was a false alarm after finding debris on our yard. We will definitely share his business cards with our neighbours!

  It was about 5 am in the morning in April 2023, we woke up to a leak in our kitchen, We called a few places with no response. Then called Roofer Don with no response, he then called us back a few seconds later. He came over from the other side of the city where he lived. right away we were able to get our roof repaired with new shingles that were a near perfect match in a small area where the leak was found. I'm reviewing Roofer Don now to report that it's still holding up, the work was quick, and the price was great! any issues we have in the future will be handled by Roofer Don! We trust his expertise, highly recommend! P.s. Our dog was unfortunately passing away that same day the roof had to be fixed. But Don really cared about what we were going through. Very solid human being.

  Don is amazing! I called him and requested that he come out to look at some potential repairs on our roof. The following day he came and made all the repairs needed. Don was very knowledgeable, friendly, and provided prompt service! Could not recommend more!

  I am very impressed with Roofer Don. Don is highly knowledgeable, well-priced, and a wonderful down to earth kind of person to work with (so appreciated these days). He and his crew are efficient, professional, and provide the highest quality of workmanship. They re-shingled my garage in about 2 hours and their clean up was exceptional - all that was left behind was my beautiful garage roof. I highly recommend Don and his crew; I wouldn't even consider anyone else, and will definitely have them back when my house needs re-shingling. They are a company whose work you can definitely trust. Thank you Don and crew for the great work you did for me.

  Within 24 hours of the discovery of my ceiling leaking, I had a new roof. Don came out within two hours of my calling to shovel the rest of the melting snow off my leaking roof and take a look, talked to me about options, and agreed to have his crew out the next day. He never tried to upsell me. He treated his crew with respect and care, and he was quick to answer my questions. The next day, at least six guys were out there replacing my roof and were finished by the afternoon. If anyone can make an emergency roof replacement stress-free and enjoyable, Don can.

  Don is an amazing person. He is an expert when it comes to roof related issues. We noticed leak from one of the bathroom exhaust fan, and he came next day to take a look. He explained me that this issue is most common one and he also put out a post on his Facebook about this to educate others. We spent close to about 45mins as Don explained me the issue in detail and what can be done to mitigate the impact. He is very kind and knowledgeable person. Thank you Don...!
