  You’ve already sent two of your salespeople to my home in and both of them opened my screen door without permission and the last one left it open! That’s completely inappropriate and a serious safety and security concern. You do not have the right to open someone’s screen door without permission. I have both incidents on camera and will be filing a complaint with the City, posting about this on all neighborhood social media and requesting that your business licence and door-to-door sales activities be checked.

  Bains Roofing Breached there own Contract & neglect communication. I signed the contract & put a deposit in the week they came to sell me shingles which was August 25th. I was told I had to rush my signing so they could get me placed on the next order & if I did material would be on my home before mid September & the roof would be installed a few days after material arrived. I instantly got ghosted after the deposit was paid . I reached out multiple times to the company and my project coordinator with barely a response & no plan or idea of when the project would take place. When the workers finally arrived to drop off the shingles over a month later on October 6th they didn't notify me of arrival prior to the day (luckily we were home and able to move our vehicles out of the driveway) . NOTE: There contract states that shingles completion will be within 30 days of signature date . We were passed that before material even arrived. Once materials arrived I had asked my project coordinator Govind when the installation would take place as we work away from home & have animals / extra vehicles so would need to ensure vehicles are out of the way (again based in the contract it states a date would be decided upon with project coordinator & purchaser) he said 1-3 days weather dependant. I was told shingles would be completed by end of the week. I reached out 3 days later as our work schedule was about to change with No Response. Then I again reached out 5 days later & was promised a install date the next day. I again got ghosted for the 2nd time. I finally got a text back on Oct 19th with a text that stated install would take place the next day - no discussion if that would work for us or not. I signed my contract on August 25th shingles got dropped off on October 6th & FINALLY got installed October 21st - 2 months after signing date.   Absolute Nightmare - Unprofessional, Threatening, and Shoddy Work - AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with this company was so appallingly bad that I feel compelled to warn others. This was, without a doubt, the worst service experience I have ever had, characterized by a complete lack of professionalism, dangerous work habits, and frankly, terrifying conduct from the owner. Time Management & Communication: A True Circus From the very first point of contact, it was clear that professional time management was not a priority. Scheduling was an absolute circus. Appointments were missed or rescheduled last-minute, communication was abysmal, and we were left constantly guessing when (or if) they would actually show up. It felt like we were chasing them just to get an answer, let alone a commitment. This disorganization alone should have been a red flag. Substandard Workmanship and Lack of Resources: The actual roofing work performed was deeply disappointing. To add insult to injury, the crew even lacked basic resources. They did not even have their own generator to power their tools, and instead had to rely on our home's electricity. This is unacceptable for a professional roofing company. Furthermore, the roofing crews were actively hostile to any attempts by us to monitor or inspect their work. We were repeatedly blocked from observing the quality of the installation, which in retrospect, is a clear indication that they had something to hide. The owner's claim of having drone footage of the completed work is also suspect, as this promised footage has never been provided to us via email, despite multiple requests. Frustrating Rework and Owner's Threat: The initial work was so poorly done that rework was necessary. This process was equally as frustrating as the first attempt, Two separate roofing crews from Bains Roofing were sent to correct the errors of the original crew, whom I can only assume were either amateur or unlicensed given th

  What can I say but big ouff! These guys didn't do my roof but my neighbors roof two doors down. I can say they definitely did Not clean up behind themselves. In the days that followed the install, My kids stepped on a nail that was on the sidewalk and have found many more. My truck tire found another one. My neighbors yard had chuncks of shingles and nails in it. When they came back to clean up after the complaints you would think they would use a magnet broom or something like that, nope took a look around picked up a few things and left.

  An employee of Bains roofing came knocking on my door the other day, telling me that he noticed my shingles were lifting (they haven’t lifted by the way) and he offered to come by the next day at 5:30 for a free estimate. I was curious about their cost so I agreed that he could come by during this time tomorrow. Yesterday came by and he never showed. This company will only waste your time. Bains roofing please don’t come knocking on my door anymore because I won’t consider you for future business.

  We chose Bains Roofing because of an impressive sales pitch, but the actual experience was quite a headache. While the crew was polite and efficient, and the finished roof looks great, the administrative side of the company is disorganized. Throughout the process, I was the homeowner and primary contact, yet the office and sales manager often didn’t return my emails and texts, usually communicating with my fiancé instead, which was frustrating to have this middleman dynamic. Logistics also seemed to be an issue. Our roofing material delivery was delayed multiple times, which I understood because weather etc. But there was no follow-up as to why or when I could expect it unless we reached out multiple times. Even after the materials finally arrived, I was told the office would coordinate the crew, but I heard nothing, so I took the initiative to follow up myself just to get a crew sent out to the house. Further adding to the frustration, the office does not seem to honor its own schedule. When my fiancé arrived at 9 AM to deliver an insurance cheque, he had to wait 40 minutes for anyone to show up despite their posted 9 AM opening time. There was also a notable lack of privacy and planning. Despite being told they would not need access to the house, the crew rang my doorbell multiple times while I was working from home to use our personal washroom and walk through the house to access the deck - which I later discovered wasn't even necessary even though the crew insisted it was. While the crew was polite and I was ok to let them in, it felt unprofessional for a company not to have a standard procedure in place for their team's logistical/washroom needs. We eventually raised all of these concerns with the Loyalty Department. While he was sympathetic on the phone, and advised he was going to look into getting us a discount on our loan to make it right, there has been zero follow-up or effort to make things right since that call.
