  Bob, we’re sorry you’re disappointed with your experience. We’d like to clarify a few important details. As a part of your project, we replaced a third of your roof where the shingles were beyond restoration. The remaining sections were inspected and treated because they were still suitable for our roof rejuvenation. Our recommendation was based on the roofs condition during our inspection and was intended to extend the life of the remaining shingles. Roofing costs and replacement quotes can vary significantly between contractors, materials, and market conditions. We stand behind the work we performed and always strive to provide honest recommendations based on the information available at the time. We wish you the best with your new roof.

  My roof is old but still in good shape so I thought it would maybe be a good idea to have roof maxx. This was a mistake and giant scam. The product might work but the sales department is corrupt. This young kid told me it would be 42-60k thousand for a new roof and he would only charge me 15,000 to spray it. That’s ridiculous. On a 2000 square foot house. Then he said we can do it for 9,400, then 8900, then 6500, then I’ll call my boss and get it down to 5,500. I actually thought it was funny towards the end but what a waste of time. Honestly I would never give your address out to a company like this.

  We completely understand why it might seem like your roof square footage should match your home’s interior square footage—but they’re actually calculated very differently. Your interior (living) square footage measures the flat, usable space inside your home. Roofing square footage, on the other hand, measures the full surface area of the roof itself—including all slopes, angles, peaks, valleys, and overhangs. Because your roof isn’t flat like your floors, it always ends up covering more area than the interior footprint. For example, even a simple roof with a moderate pitch will have more surface area than the home below it. As the pitch gets steeper or the design becomes more complex, that difference increases. This is why roofing measurements are typically higher than interior square footage and are often calculated separately using industry-standard methods. We base our measurements on the actual roof surface to ensure the correct amount of materials and proper installation. While you may have experienced price variances, we always do our best to show good/better/best options so that a homeowner can choose what fits into their budget.   I own half of a duplex and was interested in their product. But since they can't do half of a roof and the other owner is not interested. The project can't be done. So you would think that would be the end of it then? Wrong!!! I repeatedly told them considering the circumstances it can't be done. But the keep calling and texting anyways. EDIT: to Roof maxx current response. If you call text messages and emails from TODAY as last year? Your perception of time needs serious help.

  Don't work with RoofMaxx in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Their salesperson wouldn't give me a written estimate. I had to ask him to leave 3 times. He also insulted his trainee in front of me. Very unprofessional and pushy. Made me extremely uncomfortable.

  Incomplete with errors tried to contact and resolve the issue and they refused. Left with finding a new company to complete the job and double paying.

  Roof tuneup is a joke. Curled up shingles got caulking and stepped on. Flashing on vents gooped up with caulking. Whole tuneup took less than 30 minutes. Sprayed surfaces on north side look bad.

  The overall experience was very good. From the sales person ( Andrew) to the techs who were very professional. The process was smooth and they were highly engaged. It also looks great !

  From the beginning of the process to the completion of the work, every member of the team was very professional and well versed. I was very impressed with their work ethic. Every step was explained before and after the work completion. I was further impressed after the completion of the project when a different staff member, Adam, stopped by to closely inspect the quality of work. He was not happy with parts of the completed work and had them redo them to his high level of completion. In our 37 years of home ownership and home maintenance this is the very first time we have had a quality inspector review the work completed. We are very impressed with Roof Maxx.

  The guys are very thorough and informative about the product and how shingles work. Very respectful and hard workers. They take a ton of before and after photos and clean up afterwards.
