  B&B did what I consider a bait and switch with replacing my skylights. You can see the nice clean skylights I had and then also what B&B considers a great job and they look good and are no taller than what I had. They have lied through the entire process and think they did a great job, per the quote. I asked that my leaking skylights, 30+ years old, be replace and I expected the new ones to look like the ones I had. It was never mentioned or discussed that what they were going to do was going to look completely different and that my roofline was be majorly changed. They are happy with the job. I think they look horrible and will not live with this. Look at the new height as well as the lack of shingles between the 2. I would avoid this company at all cost.

  This is one of the craziest customers we've had in a long time. She needed her skylights replaced. We gave her a detailed quote specifying everything including mounting the new skylights on a 6" curb. She accepted the quote. Her old skylights, which were improperly installed, sat about 1.5" lower than the new ones. That's it. 1.5" and she lost her mind. When she saw the finished product, she demanded that we leave the property or she would call the police, she reported her deposit payment as fraud to her CC company, she left us this ridiculous review, and she refused to have a conversation with anyone at our company about why we did the work the way we did (correctly) or how we could address her concerns. Instead she insisted on communicating solely by e-mail which made it incredibly difficult to explain to her the technical details of the situation. She ultimately demanded that we either install a Velux C06 skylight or she would hire someone else to do the work. If she had been willing to talk on the phone, we would have told her that the C06 is smaller than the opening in her roof! Instead, we graciously accepted her offer to let someone else deal with her. Whatever CTI Support is, I would avoid working with her company at all costs.

  My sister is having a very small window replaced. It's boarded up, it should be a one day job for $1400 OMG.....a shower door cost less !!!!!! Ripping off seniors is pure EVIL 😈 …

  Thanks for the two stars! We usually only get one star when we rip off seniors. Good thing you know exactly how much it should cost - hey maybe you can do it for your sister for free!

  I know a house that you guys are working on and you're basically taking advantage of an elderly not professional at all they ruin your lawn then they make you pay for it I don't understand how you can do that to a paying customer

  This company vehicle alnoat hit me on 53 around 5pm on Thursday June 16th around 5pn was all over the rd n playing on his phone pics to prove he almost drove off the rd several times

  I cant give them less than 1 star not an option I've been waiting on them for estimates for 2 months their not answering phone calls or emails so i contacted other vendors for service

  You're missing an apostrophe in cant and you used their instead of they're. Also you're supposed to capitalize the i. You get less than one star for spelling and punctuation.

  Nasty people they don’t have respect for nobody, im in Auburn Hill for delivery some roofing materials for almost 3 hours.....they told me if I don’t like to go away,I asked nice to take down the stuff from my trailer to let me go,they are very unprofessional

  NO REGARDS FOR SAFETY! Horrible experience with the owner of the company throwing sharp metal debris of the roof of a commercial building onto an unblocked public sidewalk. When confronted he just laughed and said call the number on my truck. I do not recommend this company!

  I can guarantee you the owner of this company was not the person involved. I'm not sure what else in this person's review is also false, but if he were truly concerned about our company's safety policies, he should call our office and speak with our OSHA certified safety director rather than post a one star review of our company. Mr. Reynolds has zero knowledge about our company outside of this questionable experience.

  This is the best company I’ve ever worked with. They are very responsive. All of their workers are super nice. They treat their customers with respect and joy. Pat Butcher is an amazing man.

  We had the privilege of working with this company. They were top notch and helpful. They helped us with a donation and went out of their way to work with us to help others. Definitely recommend for any glass work you may have.

  I have used B & B a number of times over the years, for emergencies, maintenance issues and to come up with creative solutions for our house that is located in a wind tunnel location. They’ve been fantastic to work with.

  I had them come out to repair my roof. The guys showed up on time, quickly located the problem, and repaired it. The price was beyond fair. I’m definitely calling this company when it’s time to replace the whole roof. Highly recommended.

  They were great and easy to work with. I needed some shingles repaired in the dead of winter. They tried to squeeze me in when the weather cleared but were unable to but were very proactive about rescheduling and coming out as soon as the roof cleared off.

  If you want it done correctly and competitively, your research ends here. Every team member was prompt, kind, courteous, very professional, and did a great job with the skylight replacement. Truly a great company to work with, and this is coming from a business owner whose expectations are rarely met, let alone exceeded. I'd say they shattered them!

  We have had problems with Bats getting into our attic. Our exterminator felt that they were getting in through our ridge vent. I called Butcher & Butcher who had put on our roof 4 years ago. After my call they came out promptly and replaced portions of the shingles after tightening down the ridge vent at the ends of our roof line. In addition, the head of the Roofing division came out and did an inspection of our roof, soffit edges at the facia, freeze board, and masonry chimney walls. He found several areas where Bats could be entering the house. We had Butcher & Butcher come out and they caulked the areas that were suspect. Presently, the Bats don't seem to be getting into our house. We are very happy with Butcher & Butcher's quick response to our problems and their solutions for solving an ongoing issue with Bats. Bats seem to be very common in the Rochester area with so many lakes and streams. Butcher & Butcher has a great deal of experience with these critters and the problems with having them in your house. I would certainly recommend Butcher & Butcher for anything to do with a situation where you might need a new roof or for other roof construction problems. James Mallon
