I regret having to leave a negative review, but I feel it’s important to warn others about my experience with Roof Care. They grossly overcharged my insurance company, billing substantially more than what it actually cost to replace my roof. Shockingly, their charge was $15,000 more than three other bids I obtained, which were all within $1,500 of each other. What’s worse, they charged me based on what the insurance company paid, not the actual cost of the work. This same company replaced the identical roof just 8 months ago for a lot less than they charged the second time, further proving their inflated pricing. I also learned of another client who experienced a similar issue with them. To make matters worse, I never agreed to or signed a contract for the outrageous amount they charged. It’s a shame to see a local business in Longview, Texas, taking advantage of consumers like this. I strongly advise avoiding Roof Care and seeking other reputable roofing companies to protect yourself from this kind of predatory behavior.

Dear Kenneth, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We regret to hear about your dissatisfaction and want to address your concerns thoroughly. At Roof Care, our goal is to provide quality service and ensure that all work is completed in compliance with code requirements and insurance policies. To clarify, the pricing for your roof replacement was determined based on a detailed scope of work and aligned with your insurance company's guidelines. This included specific code-compliant items necessary for your roof's integrity and safety, which other estimates may not have accounted for. Our billing process adheres strictly to your signed contract and your insurance company’s terms, ensuring transparency and compliance. It’s important to note that as part of your insurance agreement, the recoverable depreciation is intended to cover the full cost of repairs and is not designed to be retained by the policyholder. We understand this aspect has caused confusion in this instance, and we’re happy to discuss it further if needed. We value your business and take your concerns seriously. If there are any unresolved matters or additional questions, we encourage you to contact us directly. Our team is here to work with you and find a resolution. Thank you again for the opportunity to serve you. Sincerely, The Roof Care Team

Contacted this company about a leak in our metal roof. Told them the mileage door to door at first contact and twice thereafter. They wanted texted pictures of the vent. Two appointments were made. The first they cancelled then second they were a no show. When called they now say it is too far. I have wasted two weeks with something they should have been able to tell me from the start! If I could give zero stars I would.

Horrible job. They used shingles from a previous job that doesn't match the rest of the roof. They put a new roof on rotten boards without telling us it needed to be replaced until after it was done. After everything we get a lien from McCoy's because Roof Care didn't pay them. Trust me, save yourself the headache and find a reputable company.

Dear Ron, We appreciate you taking the time to provide feedback on your experience with our roofing services, although we're disheartened to hear about your dissatisfaction. We would like to address the concerns you raised in your review. Firstly, we would like to clarify that at Roof Care, we only use new materials for every roofing project we undertake. We take pride in delivering high-quality roofing systems, and using shingles from a previous job is not in line with our practices. We apologize if there was any misunderstanding regarding this matter. Regarding the rotten boards, please accept our sincere apologies for any miscommunication that may have occurred. The roof decking structure was in great condition other than a few areas which we replaced before installing the roof. The rotten boards you referred to were the subfascia behind the vinyl fascia wrap and is a separate area of your home. The roof itself was in sound condition and was ready for a new roof. We always replace rotten deck on our projects, including a few sheets on yours. I do apologize for any miscommunication on our end when walking you through this. To clarify regarding the lien, you had received a lien notice, and the balance was taken care of before any liens were placed. We want to assure you that Roof Care consistently maintains strong relationships with our suppliers and pays our balances in a timely manner. We apologize for any confusion or inconvenience caused by the notice you received. It seems there might have been a delay in processing the payment, resulting in the issuance of the lien notice. We have taken steps to rectify this situation to ensure it does not happen again in the future. We genuinely value your feedback and are committed to making things right. We would appreciate the opportunity to discuss your concerns further and find a satisfactory resolution. Please contact our customer service team directly so that we can address your specific issues and work towards

In September 2017 Roof Care Inc. installed a roof on my home. There was an issue with the roof as soon as installation was completed. There were several deck boards that were dry rotted and hanging down in my attic and others with visible water damage. I called the company and after a lot of negotiation Roof Care came out and repaired the worst board (one). Now, here we are three years later and my roof is leaking. I was told on initial consultation that the roof would have a 10 year warranty, however; I have been unable to get anyone from Roof Care Inc. to do anything more than send an email to me promising a call, which I never received. They continue to ignore my issue and have not done anything substantial to address my roof. These people are not professional or honest and they continue to misuse my trust!

We regret that you chose to post a review before attempting to contact us to rectify the situation. Our priority is to ensure your satisfaction, and we are committed to addressing any issues promptly. Upon learning about the problem, we immediately sent our team to inspect your roof. We take pride in going above and beyond to ensure that your roof is watertight and protected. Regarding the deck boards you mentioned, we would like to clarify that they were in good condition during our initial inspection. The dark spots shown in the photos were likely moisture-related and had dissipated when we inspected the following week. We maintain open and constant communication with our customers throughout the process, and we find it difficult to understand your claims of us ignoring or not addressing your concerns. We are genuinely sorry if there has been any miscommunication or misunderstanding on our part. Our goal is to provide professional, honest, and reliable roofing services. Roof Care did a great job throughout the whole process of replacing our roof. They made it easy for us to understand the process. The quality of work has been perfect with no issues (work was completed about a year ago). They did a great job cleaning up the job site and addressing any concerns we had during the job.

The guys did a great job tearing off and replacing my metal roof at my shop. I took a couple of bids and while they were a little more expensive, I felt like they would do the best job. I’d used the other contractor at my residence and the first time it rained, the roof leaked My favorite part is no more leaking roof at the shop!
