Workmanship not high standards from my experience. Took over a year from start to finish. Excuses from Kaitlynn on why work was not being completed. Seems like we were a low priority and was told this by Kaitlynn. Found screws on the ground, not just a few but many. You could tell some of the screws had been used before. Cutting costs here and not using all new hardware as quoted.. I did question this and was told, those were in another pocket of pouch that worker had on but was not using?? Worker slipped and almost fell off our roof. So glad they did not. That's when screws apparently fell out of their pouch. I found them a few days later(cottage property) on the ground and noticed that they had been used before because of the rubber washer condition. Some edges at bottom of the roof longer than others. May have issues adding eavestroughs in the shorter cut ones. Skylights flashing was left exposed over a week and we got water inside. Leaked through when it rained. Had to put a bucket to catch the water. Lucky I was there then or it would have been a big mess. No apologies, just excuses again. Price was good initially, but we needed more snow stops added because of the roof pitch. These should have been included in the initial cost as they quoted to have the steel roof installed and should know what they need. Disappointed customer.

We upgraded to a metal roof this season, and are very happy with the result. The team at Pensa Roofing were very professional and pleasant to deal with, and were very forthcoming with answering our questions and keeping us up to date on the project. If all goes well we won't have to replace the roof anytime in the foreseeable future, but I wouldn't hesitate to call them for any future additions or outbuildings we might need roofing for.

I hired Robert Pensa Roofing to fix several problems with a 10-year-old metal roof that had been installed by another contractor. Also, to replace the wooden soffits and fascia with metal, and to install new eavestroughs. Their work was well done with a professional level of attention to details. In person, they were friendly and easy to work with. Kaitlyn in their office kept me up-to-date on scheduling and quickly responded to the questions that I had. Overall, an excellent experience and I am happy to recommend them.

I had a good experience with this company. Kaitlyn, who runs the admin side of things, was very responsive to emails. There was a small problem with a leak over a flashing by a window post-work. A call to Robert was responded to the next day and he came and fixed it. I'd recommend this company.

Every figure above is Google’s, captured on 24 September 2026. The star average and the 8 ratings behind it are counted by Google across all of its reviews. The review text on this page is a sample — we hold 8, of which 8 have any text — and it is not everything Google shows.
Roof Warden does not verify licenses, bonds, insurance or workers’ compensation cover, and nothing on this page should be read as though we had. Confirm those directly with the contractor and with your state or provincial licensing body before you hire anyone.
