  Like all relationships - at first it was great! Despite some initial trouble getting things scheduled we were able to agree on terms and timeline. Arnold and his crew finished the roofing job on-time and on-budget. They cleaned up quickly and we were impressed with the team's communication and openness. We were so impressed with the job that we recommended Rip City to several other people. And like many things, that is when the things began to sour. Rip City conveys a 10-year warranty on workmanship, but they have no intention of honoring it. We began to see problems arise, after nearly a year of back-and-forth calls and texts - no remedy. Vent pipe boots began to fail, water damage arose in several spots, and gutters and fascia are already in need of repair. Neither the contractor themselves, the contractor board, nor the roofing manufacturer are apt to help, so we are left to pay for repairs or do them ourselves on such a recent roofing job. Initially we were so impressed with the Arnold and his crew, that is no longer the case.

  I had a appointment today for a bid on a new roof. Never showed or called. Guess they don't need the business. But what a waste of my time. Could of scheduled another business to come out for the bid.

  Just had my metal roof and chimneys cleaned by Rip City Roof Cleaning and highly recommend them. They showed up right on time and were extremely thorough. Very please with the amazing service!

  Very happy. Arnold runs a family business and gives honest quotes. He cares about the quality and will work with you. I paid 50% less than a competitor quoted a year prior. Don't hesitate contacting these guys.

  Arnold does a wonderful job and communicates with his clients. I would definitely use his services again an I will continue to recommend him. It was a pleasure dealing with him.

  The crew at Rip City Roofing was AWESOME! I honestly felt like I had family and friends helping me with my roof. They were personable, friendly, hard working and professional. If you’re looking for a roofing company, stop looking and call Arnold at Rip City!

  I have utilized Rip City Roofing's service twice. In 2018 they cleaned my gutters and were so helpful. I knew when I needed to replace my aging roof that I would call them. My roof lost some shingles recently in a wind storm. Arnold got me on his schedule quickly & provided a fair estimate. The timing couldn't have been better to miss OR rain. The clean up, professionalism and work was excellent! In this pandemic era, using local businesses is even more important than ever. I fully recommend Rip City Roofing.

  Arnold quickly responded to our request for a bid. Then, he and his team met our need to get the job done on a very short timeline. Expectations were well managed throughout the project. Cleanup each day was great. One minor issue with protecting flowerbeds was immediately mitigated. Siding damage, not resultant of the roofers, was identified and fixed during the project as well. The final costs were as quoted and super reasonable compared to others. No punch list items and the final product looks great. Ironically, my father was a roofing contractor in Seattle for decades and I was raised to recognize service, quality, and integrity in roofing and sheet metal. Rip City Roofing exceeded those important business principles on our project. Absolutely my highest recommendation.

  Rip City just completed a gutter clean out at our new home. Did a fantastic job and were on the money with their estimate. I would highly recommend Rip city for your home project needs.
