  I don't write many reviews, but when I work with such an extraordinary company, I pass along the valuable info. After much research, Red Oak Exteriors (Altoona) replaced our leaking, old roof. Andy and Matt patiently and expertly answered questions and explained the process perfectly. The Red Oak team has a superior work ethic and attention to detail, so the install went very smoothly. They also provided photos and video of the job for final approval. It was a stress-free day for me! We are delighted with their highly rated products, the skilled crew, and the solid new roof.   We had a great experience working with Red Oak Exteriors on our siding replacement in Eau Claire. They installed LP SmartSide siding on our home along with new soffit, fascia, gutters, and exterior trim, and we’re extremely happy with how everything turned out. The Red Oak Exteriors crew did quality work and paid attention to the details throughout the project. Our house looks completely transformed. The new LP SmartSide siding and exterior finishes came together beautifully, and the workmanship really shows in the finished product. Communication was also great throughout the process. Whenever we had a question or something we wanted addressed, they were responsive and worked with us to make sure we were happy with the end result. That meant a lot on a project this large. Replacing your siding is a major investment, and finding a local exterior contractor you can trust makes a huge difference. Based on our experience, I’d definitely recommend Red Oak Exteriors to anyone in the Eau Claire or Chippewa Valley area looking for siding installation, LP SmartSide siding, gutters, soffit, fascia, or other exterior home improvements. Really happy with how our house turned out and glad we chose Red Oak Exteriors!

  I waited way too long to have my roof inspected after 2025 hail storm. I didn’t want to let just anyone knocking on my door onto my roof. Contacted my agent and he suggested Red Oak. I’m so glad I did. They inspected roof and found damage and then came back on a Sunday when insurance sent their inspector. They had some hiccups when it came time to install but they let us know asap. Removed and replaced roof in one day and did an outstanding job. I couldn’t find any issues. They even offered up some solutions for a difficult junction of new and old construction. They fixed it up better than before and supplied all pictures. They said we wouldn’t find any nails afterwards but we did find a lot. I get that this is tough to get all these and we should’ve said something right away. Matt said they would’ve been back with the magnet. Very thorough documentation and communication for everything. I would recommend them for any construction work!

  We are incredibly grateful to have had Red Oak Exteriors recommended to us following a recent hailstorm. Our roof and gutters had been damaged during the storm and from our first contact with Ben, to the completion of our project under Matt’s supervision, we felt well informed, cared for and found the workmanship to be outstanding. We could not be more pleased with the outcome. What impressed us even beyond the quality of their work, was the prompt, respectful communication we experienced during each phase of our project. At our initial meeting, Ben listened to our concerns regarding our particular roof and provided us thoughtful solutions for addressing problem areas. He then guided us through the process of working with our insurance company, and was even available to review our roof alongside our insurance adjustor. Within weeks, Matt, the project director, met with us to survey our home. He was well informed about each problem area as well as the solutions we had discussed with Ben, and as we walked around our home, he took time to explain how they would protect our siding, deck, yard and gardens. Several days later, Matt arrived with a large crew who completed our roof after working hard through a 12-hour day. They had not only taken great care with placing our roof but had also thoroughly cleaned up the area surrounding our home. Tayte, from Integrity Seamless Gutters, finished up our project. He did a wonderful job of problem solving for a difficult connection point in our gutter system and worked continuously and carefully over 2 days to give us a beautifully finished product. We found Red Oak Exteriors to be a truly impressive team of professionals who are as dedicated to providing a quality finished product as they are to ensuring a wonderful customer experience. 5 stars!
