Hired them for a roofing job They changed order for materials without my consent. No foreman on site just workers that were mad bc I wouldn’t allow them to install wrong materials. Finally got install completed I hired an inspector to check work done. Found several issues that Darin agreed to repair. Caught him trying to use dirty worn out ridge vents that were dirty. Tried to threaten me with attorney so I received clarification from my attorney that I could conduct inspection without Rebuild presence. Scammers Beware Beware Response: 4/4/2025 There was no upgrade the crew was throwing the remaining bundles of singles in trash. You threatened legal action if I didn’t allow you to do inspection first . The only reason you did the necessary repairs is because you couldn’t argue and win against the certified state inspectors findings. It a shame that I had to hire a professional inspector to get you to complete the job correctly. Here is a picture of the nasty used ridge vents that owner Darin was going to install! Also just a few pictures of what inspector found and chalked. Also you destroyed the chimney flashing and Brian said just pay the remaining balance and we’ll return in two weeks to repair it. I strongly stand by my review !!!

Hi Rosa, thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re genuinely sorry to hear that your project didn’t meet your expectations from the start, and we fully acknowledge that there were missteps in how the job was managed. You’re right—there should have been better communication about the materials, and we take full responsibility for that. That said, we also want to be transparent with anyone reading this: once these issues were brought to our attention, we made every effort to correct them. We completed the project, repaired the items you and your inspector pointed out, and as a gesture of goodwill, we provided a complimentary upgrade to impact-resistant shingles—valued at approximately $3,500—at no extra cost to you. We understand your frustration and regret that the situation caused such a breakdown in trust. But we also want to clarify that we’re not scammers. Scammers cut corners, disappear, and avoid accountability. We did the opposite—stayed engaged, fixed the problems, and even went above what was required to make things right. At Rebuild Texas Construction, we believe in owning our mistakes, doing the right thing, and leaving every client with a job we can stand behind. We appreciate the opportunity to have served you and hope that, despite the rocky process, the completed project serves your home well for years to come.

Our home warranty company hired Rebuild Texas to assess a roof claim. Gage McQuade was a no show at our July 9 appointment. He came the next day and did an inspection. We didn't receive the report on this inspection until July 21. McQuade said he would submit his report to the warranty company on July 24. We kept calling and emailing asking when it was going to be submitted to our warranty company. On August 4, McQuade said it was taking so long because he was out of the office due to a positive COVID-19 test - which we would have never found out about if we hadn't have kept calling. On August 4th, McQuade said that our warranty company had denied the claim and that we could hire him directly. On August 17, our warranty company stated Rebuild Texas never submitted a claim and they never denied it. When our warranty company reached out to Rebuild Texas, a representative said they were unable to submit the report/claim due to issues with the website. This company lied to us. UPDATE: Belmont Roofing came out today, submitted the claim today, and the claim was approved by Home Choice Warranty today. Rebuild Texas misrepresented the eligibility of our claim.

Hannah, we apologize for your experiences! It is correct Gage did test positive for Covid19 and that further complicated the issue! We are a new vendor with Choice Home Warranty and we did reach out to them as our online vendor portal was not working. With that being said we did eventually speak to someone on the phone at choice and asked questions about their approval process, explain to them the issue on your roof, and they did tell us that it would not be a covered loss based on their contract with you. So it is accurate a report was not submitted but they did tell us the issues were not covered.. This may be why it does not register as a denied claim or that a report was submitted. Again sorry for the confusion if you would like to call so we can further explain please ask for Josh.

Group of thugs, bad out state experience with roof replacement. I had them replace a roof for a house and when i asked them to do the second one and cancel their work, they kept asking for more money on the first repair. …

Mr. Nguyen, Thank you for your feedback. I will say I am glad to see there were no issues with original work we completed on your property! I have reviewed your file and the contract signed by you for $13,171.10 on July 30th. It seems you are 100% correct we are requesting for you to pay your invoice which is the exact same as your contract and unfortunately now additional late fees that have been added. I see my office has already been in contact with you but I will give you a call today to discuss so we can come to a resolution on the payment due. Thanks

Never received estimates back on repairs and upgrades for roof
Reply from the business
Jonathan, Thank you for your feedback I did call this past week and leave a voicemail in regards to this incident as I wanted to get some information from you. I have spoken to our representative it seems the roof was only about a year old and was put on by a contractor hired by the previous owner of the home. There was a discrepancy with the ventilation or proper installation vents? It is an office policy that we do not get involved in repairs or any type of discrepancy when another contractors work is in question or is involved. However, It seems that was not effectively communicated to you and I would love an opportunity to discuss this particular incident so I can hear what exactly took place and work to improve our teams skills! Please call the office and ask for Josh! Thank you again for the feedback!

Josh and his team are amazing. Since we live in Texas, being in the wind - tornado zone, we always got hit with damages. Josh did our inspection and provided his honest opinion what we should do. Being referred by a good friend, we could trust Josh and his team to help us! Thank you!

I had Rebuild texas replace my roof 4 years ago. Although I have had some issues with my roof I am happy to say the company has stood by their warranty and has made considerable effort to resolve issues. In fact, the owner personally saw to it that all my complaints were handled professionally and completely. Thank you Darrin!

The folks at Rebuild Texas are all very professional and happy to explain what they're doing and why. I was given fair inspections and estimates and they worked with State Farm to make the claim process easier, including an amendment to cover code-related upgrades that State Farm then paid for. Communications were frequent so I always knew when things would happen such as work crew arrival, payments, etc. Andrew Blacklock was the Project Manager on my recent roof replacement this summer and he was excellent from start to finish. This is the second roof I've had to replace in 3 years due to hail (different homes) and used Rebuild Texas both times. They are a top notch company.

Words cannot express my satisfaction with Rebuild Texas Roofs. If there was an option for 6 stars I'd more than happily rate them that. Aside from the work being solid, timely, and efficient,- the intangibles demonstrated by this company are stellar. They are honest and genuine in their estimate and have a true concern for providing a reliable service for a reasonable cost. I speak so highly because the situation I was in was somewhat unique. My home insurance was going to be temporarily suspended until I had spotty areas on my roof fixed. (There were sporadic shingles missing around my roof) After doing my research, I was well aware of companies attempting to charge anywhere from $350-$1000 just for mere shingle repairs. I spoke with JENNIFER., suffice it to say I was able to find the lowest estimate that would compete with any other rival roofing company. She came out personally the next day and completed work in 2.5 hours. The process was seamless and exceptional. Our family will return to them with all our roofing needs, and will be the first and only name mentioned as it relates to referrals. The way it is today with many companies, attempting to exploit consumer ignorance, - it is a relief to feel in good hands knowing you aren't dealing with a company whose only intention is to financially extrapolate the most out of the consumer. Thank you Rebuild Texas.

We recently hired ReBuild Texas to replace our roof and rain gutters. They also renovated the exterior of the house. This included replacing old and damaged fascia, soffits, trim, siding, rebuilding a chimney housing, and re-painting the exterior. ALL of the work done was executed to perfection. All work was completed on schedule. All of the workers were friendly and respected our property. The cleanup was very thorough. PM Brian was very helpful and easy to work with. He answered all our questions and made sure we were always well informed. It was a real pleasure to work with him. We are very happy with the way this project turned out and absolutely recommend this company. Our thirty plus year old house now looks brand new!
