First off, let me just say that Nicholas is a real one. Not only was he incredibly understanding and flexible, he was also super communicative throughout not one but two jobs. First, he performed minor repairs to our gutters and cleaned them. Our roof was due for a replacement. He and his team delivered on an amazing roof replacement in the summer heat. And the cleanup? Honestly, I don’t know how they managed to make such a messy job look like it never even happened. If you’re considering roof or gutter maintenance, Rebel Roofing and Renovations is the team you want on your side. UPDATE (July 2026): I am profoundly disappointed to have to completely reverse my original positive review. While Nicholas initially seemed communicative and the roof installation in July 2025 looked fine on the surface, the reality has been a nightmare. Less than a year after installation, the roof failed, causing active leaks and water damage to my interior ceiling. We had the roof assessed by our home insurance auditor and a forensic roof inspector, both of whom confirmed severe granule loss due to defective shingles, improper installation according to the shingles’ manufacturer specifications, and recommended a complete reinstallation. I also discovered through my township building administration that Rebel Roofing failed to pull the mandatory permits for the job and bypassed the required municipal inspections entirely. Despite having a signed contract with an explicit "5 year labor warranty," Nicholas refused to honor it. Instead of replacing the improperly installed roof, he only offered to do a roof "overlay" with non-defective shingles despite the roof having water-compromised sections—a direct violation of building code (IRC Section R908.4). He also offered to drop off non-defective shingles at my property for someone else to install if I wasn’t willing to accept an overlay. When I sent a formal notice outlining the inspection report results, code violations, lack of permits, and

It is strongly advised to refrain from engaging with this particular company, as it has proven to be highly unsatisfactory in various aspects. Communication attempts have been met with disregard and the company has displayed a lack of responsiveness. Legal action may be necessary, as I possess all relevant documents and evidence to support my claims.

BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!! CAUTION!!!!!!!! With a recommendation from the Home Advisor website, I hired this roofing company to replace my entire roof, and it was a nightmare. The company's owner (Jeff) is a scammer, a liar, and a thief. We had a contract for a total roof replacement and soffit replacement. He overcharged me, lied about the work to be completed, and never finished the work. (See attached pics of unfinished work)

I had a few shingles peel up when we had those crazy winds kick through the area. Nick came out, patched up the hole in the underlayment, was honest, straight forward, friendly and the next day he got my shingles back up doing the best to match the color of the existing. All in all he saved me some cash, and an insurance claim and or the likely higher deductible. Happy to support another small business too, much like myself, I appreciate the “little guy” as an SEIU Union member.
