  I called and someone actually came out the next morning at 9AM to take a look at the job for an estimate. They said they would go back to the office to work on the numbers. The next day I still hadn't received anything. So I called again (it was now a Friday) to follow up and was told I would receive the estimate by COB on Monday. This was over a week ago; never received an estimate. Go figure. I can only speculate as to why, but its OBE at this point as the job is scheduled with another contractor.

  A potential home buyer had Ray’s do a signing inspection on my home. A housing inspector noticed a very small area that potentially needed repair. So, the individual from Ray’s came and took a cursory look. From that, he determined that the house needed to be entirely re-sided. Apparently he has amazing intuition. The spot in question is on the 2nd story of a 3 story home. I was present during this “inspection” and didn’t happen to see a ladder anywhere in sight. Pretty impressive. Maybe he can levitate? So, the potential home buyers asked to renegotiate the contract with a stipulation that Ray’s is contracted to re-side the entire home for 30k. Seems convenient. The home in question is only 11 years old and built by JON Properties who are highly regarded builders in the community. Overall, what we have here is a dishonest contractor trying to con people out of their hard earned money. So, to say that I would not recommend Ray’s is a massive understatement. Perhaps their craftsmanship is terrific. But their business practices are downright awful. Next stop, BBB.

  We were hired by a prospective buyer to evaluate the home. Our inspection found the siding had signs of prior repair. We recommended full replacement because we do not offer temporary fixes. We provide straightforward, professional assessments so buyers and homeowners can make informed decisions. There was no pressure by anyone at Rays Siding Company for the potential buyer to accept our recommendation.

  We reached out to them almost 2 weeks ago. They came out to do an estimate but never sent us a quote. 5 days later we followed up with them and they said we would have it the next day. Never received the quote and no follow up. I wouldn't trust them to do the job at this point.

  Michele, In response to your review, we would like to point out that normally when someone writes a review for Rays Siding, we have done work or provided a service to the client. We have, in fact, never done work or business with you. What we did do, was interview you for an office administration position. That position was filled by a highly qualified person and not offered to you. It appears that you wrote your review on our site in response to your disappointment that we did not choose to bring you on board with Rays Siding. We are sorry that you felt this was your only recourse to a failed interview and wish you the best in your future endeavors to find employment.

  Some jobs are too small. I worked for this company many years ago and I know they do solid work so as I'm in need of having a bay window and door wrapped I called to get a quote..they said a minimum of 5 windows or no...I don't have 5 windows as I'm in a townhouse. So unless it's a big job they won't even consider. Such a shame.

  I was 150% satisfied with the work done by Ray’s Siding at my home. They were professional, paid attention to detail, did great work, and cleaned up afterwards. I have used them before, and will not hesitate to use them again. Matt, Allen, and Omar impressed me with their skills. Update: I had Ray’s Siding out again for an additional project. John and Allen were extremely knowledgeable, professional, and informative. They completed my project, again to 150% satisfaction. I will not hesitate to use them again, or recommend them to anyone.

  As part of the Cantrell Builders Company in Fredericksburg, VA, we have been working with Ray's Siding for over 25 years. They continue to do top quality work in everything they do! They even sent staff to our new home in Tenn to assist with the Siding process. They were as excellent as always if not better. Danny, Jeremy and Brian were outstanding workers, and we will always be so appreciative as we live in our new home.

  Each and every employee from Ray's Siding were wonderful. From the owner Mike, the ladies in the office and our job manager Noel, they made our experience with Ray's perfect. The crews showed up on time every morning and worked tirelessly the whole day. We contracted for a new roof, siding, fascia, soffits, trim, windows, new storm door and gutters - they do it all. My house looks fabulous and we couldn't be happier. Everyone was so helpful, even when I had a million questions or doubted my color selections. If I could give 10 stars I would. I recommend Ray's Siding wholeheartedly, they are the best around! Ray's will be the company I call for my deck replacement and anything else my home may nèed in the future.
