It was a pleasure getting to know Erwin the two times he showed up to my property. I should have paid attention to the sign. On 4/4/24 it was scheduled to meet with me to go over the project but it was a no show. I had to reach out and ask if they were coming. We are not prefect and apologized so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. The quote was fair and within the budget. As I got the HOA approved in May 2024, I informed this to Erwin. And since 5/31/24, the project has not been completed yet. I have reached out a month later and comes back to me saying “I need to check it with my dad” “you are on the list”. There was no communications during the wait. I can tolerate the wait if it was communicated by them that there is a delay. I called over the weekend and expressed this and told me by Sunday I would get an update if not then late Monday. Still zero update. It is now August 2024 and still no update. I can’t rate on how quality the service is since the project was not done, but customer service is not the best nor the accountability. Erwin is very respectful. Other than that I would not suggest this company to anyone due to the fact of lack of accountability/communication. I would hate anyone to be in my position (the chase) and feel like your project did not matter and they will continue to postpone without informing you. I’m sure there was a miscommunication with their team but respectfully I did my best as a customer and patiently waited. Best of luck to all.

Terrible service! Hired for a small job in Woodbridge. Showed up one week after agreed upon date. Did not call or provide any reasonable explanation for missing the original appointment. Completed minor roof repair but totally botched the siding repair. Mismeasured the siding, ordered and installed the wrong size and never returned to correct the poor quality work. Will never recommend or hire again!! HIRE AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Top-tier experience, highly recommend! I just had my roof completed by Columbia Contracting, and the entire experience was top-tier from start to finish. Erwin, who managed the project, was incredible—he was very responsive the whole time, took the time to answer all my questions, and even provided great pictures showing the before, during, and after progress. Erwin and his team were extremely professional, worked around my schedule, and actually finished the job quicker than originally anticipated. They executed exactly what I wanted, delivered a great value at a great price, and everyone on the crew was a true professional. I could not be happier with the results and would highly recommend Columbia Contracting to anyone looking for roof work!

Columbia Contracting LLC competed with five other contractors from this area. My particular home had a roof with many steep peaks and was in dire need of new six inch gutters. Originally the gutters were five inch and couldn’t contain the rush of water from our infamous VA downpours! At the ripe old age of 25 years my roof needed replacement. Some of the competitors chose to climb onto the roof to inspect it. Some used a drone and others may have used google earth. Only two actually went into my attic and other areas in the home to see any water damage that may have occurred, and to see the type of plywood used for the roof. Columbia inspected inside and out! I have to say that the original owners, I am the second owner, built this roof to a standard which is required in FL to withstand hurricane force damage. Because of the steepness of my roof there was very little water damage to the plywood. Now onto the team! I almost expected Erwin, who sounded exactly like Marco Rubio, and his team to have arrived wearing lederhosen, as my roof was as high as the Alps! Yet they chose to wear regular jeans and shirts, and very strong harnesses to keep them safe! I was very happy to see the care they took to protect my gardens and bushes from falling debris. And how quickly they worked. Within two days my house, gutters and all was completed, and on day three another full sweep was done to ensure every thing was cleaned. Erwin was always available and super responsive. I had been a Contracting Officer for the Government for thirty years and have developed a sense for who is a good contractor and who may be questionable. While there are many good contractors in my area, I was very satisfied with the knowledge and eagerness to please I saw in Columbia. I have to say Columbia Contracting was right on the money! Complements on my roof have been pouring in. I am very satisfied with the results and you will be also should you choose to do business with them.

So very happy with the job Columbia Contracting did. Everything was up front and no surprises. Design, demolition and construction all done by same company. The professional team did a fantastic job, working on some of the hottest days. So nice to have the owners on the job supervising and communicating all work. We went from tiny deck to beautiful porch, beautiful patio with a white fence installation to top it off. All done ✅ in a timely manner and with great care!! Highly recommended!!!! Bill

I hired Columbia Contracting to replace our siding and gutters. After removal of the old siding, some repair work was necessary before siding could be replaced, which we expected. Both the repair work and siding installation was completed with great attention to detail. Erwin (the owner) and the installers communicated each step of the way both in regards to the necessary repair and the schedule of the siding install. Working around inclement weather, the work was completed quickly and efficiently. The skilled work crew checked in with me whenever there was a question about how I wanted something done, or if there was a decision regarding repairs. I had many questions which they answered completely. They took great pride in their work and it shows. Erwin was extremely responsive and kept in touch each day. There was a small concern on work done for the gutters, but they returned promptly to correct it to my satisfaction. I always seek out local companies, whenever possible, and was really please to be able to work with a local family business. I highly recommend Columbia Contracting LLC.
