  Jason Holland at Rain Tight Roofing is the owner/operator of one of the best businesses we’ve ever worked with, here on Hilton Head Island or anywhere else. Jason is all about detail, precision, respect, doing the job thoroughly, accommodating the customer, courtesy and insuring that absolutely no detail goes unnoticed or unfinished. We had several companies give us estimates for our total re-roofing project. Jason was, absolutely no question, the very best. He noticed problems with our roof and two chimneys that no one else even saw or mentioned. We’re so grateful he did because what he found most definitely needed to be repaired and/or replaced; if gone unrepaired, there would have been serious damage to our house. Completion of the project took longer than we – and Jason – expected, and the final cost was well over the original estimate. However, this wasn’t problematic for us because he always explained what he found, what he recommended we do, and gave us the cost of the added repairs. He never once said “Oh, by the way, I had to spend an extra $$$ for this or that” - we were completely involved in what he was doing. He kept us updated on costs and was always honest. In addition, Jason’s easygoing manner, his great sense of humor, his warm personality and his ethics clearly came through the first time we met him. We knew we wanted him for the job. Before he began the project, Jason said he knew there would be additional costs, depending on the extent of the damage. He said the final cost would ultimately depend on what he and his crew found. So yes, the price went up and the added repairs expanded the length of time needed to finish the job. But he carefully explained every single repair that needed to be made. He was very detailed in giving us options, suggesting several resolutions, outlining the repair cost, etc. Jason literally spent hours in our home working with our family to ensure that everything was just the way we wanted.   Fantastic job by this company. Communication was great, and our new roof if done CORRECTLY. We were told we didn’t need a new roof by others but Jason told us we did. We were certainly glad we listened to his experience because we did need a new one once layers were taken off and rot was exposed. Thank you for a quality job!

This approach can lead to situations where clients invest in repairs only to encounter additional leaks or problems shortly after. Given the age of your 10-year-old roof, it may be challenging to inform your client about the necessity of a new roof. Nevertheless, as a professional, it is your responsibility to provide your client with the necessary information to make an informed decision. Very unfortunate to need a roof replacement at the 10 year mark.

  Raintight Roofing did a re-roof job on my parents' home in Hilton Head Plantation. As with any home improvement project, there were some unexpected items that needed attention (skylights and gutters). Jason and his team (Lance) were extremely easy to communicate with, attentive to all of my questions and concerns, and completed the entire job in a very timely manner.

  Jason and Lance are great. They replaced my roof in 2016. I thought I had a leak in my kitchen ceiling and Lance came over and found and empty bottle in the ceiling which was causing the leak from the HVAC people. They didn’t charge me anything for the visits.

  We hired Rain Tight to fix damage caused by a hurricane. They did the job quickly and perfectly. They have carpenters to do any carpentry work so the job can be done efficiently and well. Great job. Would use these guys anytime you need roof work.

  Jason did a very good job of laying out the options and costs in his quote. His crew executed and the new roof looks great. Jason inspected the attic as well and determined that some roof vents and roof fans would give us the right air flow for longevity.

  We had an emergency with rain forecasted and Rain tight Roofing came out immediately to cover holes in our roof. Jason then worked well with the insurance company and related contractors. The whole process was as seamless and painless as we could have hoped for.

  We needed to have a small section of wood siding repaired. Several years ago, I had used Raintight Roofing to replace our roof. I was impressed with their people and quality of work. In deciding who to use for this repair, my decision came down to quality of people and workmanship. Since I was familiar with Raintight, I didn't hesitate to contact them. Although they're extremely busy (guess that speaks to others liking their quality), they were able to complete the repair and it looks great. As I always say, in a world full of technology, people make the difference. Jason Holland, Lance Holland and the Raintight team are quality and trustworthy people! I will continue to use them and will recommend their services to others.
