  We always get 3 bids on a project this size. Monarch was over double the price of other 2 bids with local reputable roofing companies. All using the same GAF materials. The inspector was well trained in marketing techniques and went for the sign now or you will lose your discount gimmick. They wouldn't even leave us with a written copy of their estimate. They know if they leave unsigned they will not get the job. We feel bad for anyone who gets sucked in by the excellent marketing techniques. If you feel their work is worth over double what the job is worth , go for it! Buyer beware!

  When you call for an estimate and AI answers, then you go to the website and it's just as bad. Couldn't get a real personal on the phone and the ai lady was the only person I had to talk to. Such a disappointment

  Twice the price of other very reputable roofers and very high pressure. No thanks, I’ll save the extra $18,000 and go with an honest company.

  Requested a quote for roof replacement, They were on time and did a very thorough inspection. No damage or rot was found. Replacing roof before attic gets spray foamed. Was quoted $22,000 to replace a roof on a 1300 square foot single story home. (Before $2,000 same day/ military discount). They were $ 14,000 more than the next highest bid for exact same warranty and product. Lowest bid was $15,000 less.Was told reason was because they pay their guys more.I don’t mind someone making a profit, however all the other estimates (3) were way less. Did a great inspection though.

  Have called in regards to my roof and had terrible luck and finally found this place that has financing and got approved but they say they don't service my area and they go to further distances than my house.

  **Update - This company has recently sold to private equity firm called Vertex. The company is no longer locally owned so buyer be aware and do your homework, ensuring to compare apples to apples with your various quotes before contracting. I used this company before they made the transition last year and they were great! Fast forward to a few weeks ago. We had a few shingles blow off a 7 year old roof. During this visit, Monarch indicated I needed an entire roof while also telling me felt paper underlayment is no longer code in South Carolina which isn’t true. The entire “free” inspection felt like a used car salesman desperately trying to up-sale me on a roof I didn’t need.

  Now this rating is not for workmanship they have not done any work on my home so you made that clear this is based solely upon the fact of what how they're representative was who actually does do some installation he works on them but he did not do anything but inspect the complete roof and attic and then report to me what he found showed me the pictures and video of what he saw explain that stuff and then showed me all the materials and what order they will go on who they're made by what kind of warranty they carry he was very thorough but to the point and taking 3 hours he was finished fairly quickly matter of fact I was probably talking more than him but he did a great job honestly right now I'm having several different estimates and mainly waiting on the insurance carrier to let me know what they're going to pay or do wish I don't understand that part of it because 15-year premiums is about $125,000 and I've never made a claim so what is there to talk about them taking care of my roof because of the whole roof is junk but that's another subject they did a great job if I do hire them as of right now they are the leader on the board and I will post extra if I do in fact go with these guys like I said which is a very very good possibility and I will watch every step done myself which that he said they provide video of that in real time to the homeowner every homeowner to be able to see and watch and they do their own in home warranties and house so you don't have to depend on calling you know Owens Corning or whoever GAF basically the three main people that make the materials that all the roofers sell if something goes wrong or there's an issue 5 years 10 years down the road to get something done about it they take care of that in house because I'm not going to name which one but they're provider which is one of the big names would just was just continually turning down claims that were videoed and done properly and their guys were going to all the seminars trainin

  Had a leak fixed after the spring storms. They came out quickly, gave a fair quote, and the final bill matched it. Crew was on time, did clean work, and left the place tidy. Daniel explained everything without pushing extra repairs. Would hire them again.
