NOTE. This Review is just because of your stupid receptionist, who doesn't even have any respect for someone calling the business. The owner and I have a conversation yesterday and we had a scheduled call today. I asked the receptionist that I wanna speak to the business owner we had a scheduled call he kept saying that no you don't, I even told him to ask the owner himself that if he spoke to me or not but he kept saying sorry I won't do that sorry I won't do that If I could give this company 0 star review I definitely would.

The only reason they are even getting one star is because it requires one to write this review. This company is a sham. They were hired to my roof worth promises of great experiences and savings. Instead I received an unfinished job that …

Thank you for bringing this review to our attention. We're truly sorry to hear about the experience described, but after thoroughly reviewing our project records, customer database, and communications, we have no record of any matching job, customer, or interaction that aligns with these claims. At Rain City Exteriors, we take accusations of fraud very seriously, as they directly contradict our core values of honesty, transparency, and integrity. We have proudly served homeowners across the Puget Sound region for many years as a fully licensed, bonded, and accredited business, always prioritizing clear contracts, high-quality new materials, and complete customer satisfaction. To be clear: We never request full payment in advance for unfinished work. We never reuse old or existing materials from a customer's property in place of new, high-quality products—we use only premium, industry-standard materials sourced specifically for each project. Our standard process includes detailed written agreements, progress updates, and final walkthroughs to ensure every job is completed to the highest standards before any final payment is due. If this review pertains to a real experience (or if it was posted in error/mistaken identity), we would genuinely appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns directly. Please reach out to us at (888) 948-4898 with any details you can provide—we're committed to resolving issues and maintaining the trust we've built with our community. Haven't used them but they left several scare tactic ads in my neighborhood about missing shingles. I would not trust a business that uses these kinds of practices. And no, my house and the other 80 houses in my neighborhood were not all missing shingles. Don't fall for this kind of fear mongering, use an honest company.

They installed siding on the front of the house. They cut the existing cedar siding too short and crooked then filled it with caulking. We complained and they promised to fix everything. The finished work was very sloppy, leaving clumps of …

Rain City replaced some old siding on our house. The work was very shoddy and unprofessional. They were great about trying to fix the problems, but in the end the work was still not up to expectations. I cut my losses and found another contractor to redo it. Would not recommend.

Awful communication, we had a fairy extensive project. Lots of mistakes and issues. The biggest being per our contract they would pull all required permits and they DIDN’T pull any at all. Our project was started in July of 2021 and we are …

Unfortunately, they are in the price gouging business. They charge $600 minimum for a visit, regardless of whether or not they can fix it or if it's within their scope of work, and also regardless of how much time it takes them to assess whether or not they can fix it. They at least seemed to understand that they are taking advantage as they said they are getting a lot of calls and needed to prioritize when I questioned them on charging $600 if they are only here for 10 minutes to decide that it's a foundation issue that is out of their scope. I get it. They run a business and whoever can pay the most is good for their bottom line. Good for them! (but bad for you....)

We were impressed when the owner himself visited our home to provide a bid on our project. To us, this gesture was taken very personally and hands-on for the job. The presentation was excellent. We gave it no second thought of hiring his company for the project, which included replacing shingles around the entire house. Additionally, the job involved removing moss from the roof and caulking of loose nails that could potentially lead to leaks. The job was handled exactly as we discussed. There were great communication skills displayed. The staff deported themselves in a professional manner before, during, and up to the completion of the project. The work was completed to our satisfaction. Because of our experience with Rain City Exteriors, we would gladly recommend them to others.

While I am no expert at exterior siding, I have hired companies for help before and I know what I appreciate. Timeliness: I understand that the unforeseeable can happen to anyone, but I admit that timeliness is important to me. The workers that re-sided our home came when they said they would and got the job done quickly and efficiently. Consideration: All work, including clean-up, was completed during reasonable times of day. Very little damage was incurred to the garden beds. I expected more, frankly. Other than sawdust, a newly sided wall was the only indication they had been there. Attention to detail: Everything appears to be well sealed and they had to work around a lot of obstacles on this side of the house, like pipes and stairs. I am very happy with the quality of work and professionalism of Joel and Everado, the team from Rain City that completed this project. Jose' was a pleasure to work with and I expect we will do business again.

selected Rain City Exteriors out of five quotes. From start to finish the work was excellent from everyone involved. They explained the process, provided a detailed quote, material options, time to completion and possible variables that could affect each of these items. They were spot on for every item. They provided the high level of workmanship and dependability you are always on the lookout for and often don’t get. I was so impressed with them that as I made the final payment, I requested a quote for another job. I want a company I can trust to get the job done, done right and that is what I got.

We had a section of siding repaired after damage. The team matched materials well and completed the work in two days. Compared to before, the exterior looks uniform again.

Had a great experience with this Rain City Exteriors and their crew. They came out quickly to find the problem, explained everything clearly, and fixed it without any hassle. Super easy to work with and just really solid all around and very available during the process for communications and changing challenges. They even helped us find another excellent company to remove our solar panels, which made the whole process way less stressful. Definitely a 5-star job and I’d use them again.

Hired Rain City Exteriors for a full residing job in Tacoma. They did a fantastic job, going above and beyond to make sure that we were taken care of and all answered all questions prior to us signing the contract. Will definitely be using them again for a few of our other projects.

Rain City Exteriors did an outstanding job replacing my roof. The team was professional, thorough, and delivered excellent workmanship. They shared clear before-and-after photos, kept the site spotless, and finished exactly on schedule. Their estimate was fair with zero surprises or hidden costs. They returned my call immediately, came out within days, and handled everything seamlessly. I’d absolutely recommend Rain City Exteriors to anyone needing roofing work—top-notch from start to finish.
