We tried to hire them for a door replacement. When the sales associate got to our house, I showed him the keypad door lock that I needed the door to work with and asked him to confirm that the door he was recommending would work with that keypad. He said it would work. We went on to pick color, handle type, etc, and I put down a deposit. When a guy came to properly measure the door a few days later, it turned out half the details on his sheet were wrong. The first guy had put down the wrong inside color, the wrong handle type, and arbitrarily picked some other details on his own that he hadn't even brought up and that I didn't realize needed to be picked, like hinges. I fixed what I could and followed up with some calls, and eventually these incorrect details were sorted (though the measuring guy was super rude in insisting that the first guy hadn't messed up, whereas of course he had). Then right as we were about to order the door, my husband saw some details about the lock type that no one had brought up. We couldn't find confirmation online that the lock type would work with the keypad we had picked out so we asked QFHI for written confirmation that they said the locks would work together. For the following two weeks, I called them repeatedly to get some reasonable information, and finally they said they couldn't give me the confirmation I was asking for. This was literally the first thing I had asked them to confirm! By this point it had been a MONTH since I first had them come to replace the door, and I had wasted literal HOURS talking to them in circles and trying to track down answers. At this point I demanded my deposit back, since they had gotten it under false pretenses. When I didn't get the deposit back in over a week, I emailed them again, and true to form, they said their system had gotten messed up and that they would mail a check. This check took another couple weeks to arrive, of course, during which time QFHI chose to ghost me instead of confirming

An absolute worthless company. They quoted 20K for a paint job on a 1400 sq ft house. Then they call you once a week for 2 years. Do not get tangled up with these clowns. I have asked repeatedly to be taken off the call list and they can't …

Google lists them as general contractors. Called today and was told I need an engineer…for a patio door. Said they could not help.

When a homeowner has a "No Soliciting" sign right above the doorbell, it matters not whether you are "selling" at the door (as your door to door salesman stated he was not, so not soliciting in his mind), you are soliciting none the less. When the homeowner opens with "No thank you, not interested" and you continue to spout, you're wrong. Quality Home Improvement needs to have their salesmen respect signage.

Update:Unbelievable!!!! After me telling, begging, being rude, screaming “Do not call me!!!” They sent an actual person over. My doorbell rang and there was him:Hi I am with Quality First Home Improvement. R u kidding me?!!!! Insanity. Do not EVER speak to these people. I had a sales person show up at our door during one of these heatwave July noons. He was red and sweaty and told Me to give him a chance to speak as it was a hot hard day. I must be an idiot because I talked to him even though I told him that we are not ready to do the project. Ever since that day I get calls EVERY SINGLE DAY from DIFFERENT phone numbers asking if I want to do the project. I told at least ten times that no, we are not going to do the project. But they keep calling, I asked them not to call us and told them to remove my number from their database…they keep calling and I keep blocking them. Not sure when will this stop. Very very very aggressive sales tactics. Not good

The person canvassing had me speak to the manager about an admittedly small project that I needed done. Im not upset that they wouldn't take on the project, but the manager was extremely rude to me over the phone when I explained what I needed done and made it abrasively clear that they would not help me unless I bought an entire new roof. One top of this, someone must have written in their notes that I needed a new roof anyway, and now I get spam calls every week about the new roof I've been clear that I don't need. I haven't gotten them to do any work for me, but due to my experience, I never will. Edit: This company has horrible internal communication. I've explained my situation to probably 5 seperate people at this point and told each of them I'd like the calls to stop. Yet, they still call me every single weekday to ask me about the new roof I have been abundantly clear I don't need. I am starting to be rude to the callers, which is something im not happy to do, but the calls won't stop no matter what I do.

These guys came and did a full bathroom remodel in my master suite and a new tub and shower insert in my guest bathroom. Quality was better than I expected it would be given the price and timeframe. The remodel was the focal point of my home when it sold and helped fetch the best sales price.

I had the pleasure of hiring Quality First for a Tex-Cote Cool Wall exterior paint job. My point of contact throughout the entire process was Derek, who was outstanding. He kept me well informed, answered every question promptly, and followed up after the job was complete. The painters themselves were wonderful. They went out of their way to fix small issues that most crews wouldn’t have bothered with and took extra time at every step to ensure everything met my standards. The finished paint job is literally perfect — not a single inch of the building was missed, and there wasn’t a drop, splash, or glob of paint anywhere it didn’t belong. I’m extraordinarily happy with the result. Yes, the project cost about three times what a standard paint job would, but with their warranty, the rising cost of everything, and the peace of mind that comes with getting it done right the first time, it was absolutely worth it.

Thank you, Anthony! We’re thrilled Derek and our painting team could provide such a smooth experience and deliver a result you’re happy with. It means a lot to hear your feedback, and we’re so glad the project was worth it for you.

Scott Peterson was my project coordinator of my roof! I am a first time home owner and my roof was barely hanging on my a thread, and I had constant leaks with poor weather. I knew I had to get my roof taken care of fast before the winter. Scott Gabaree talked me through the process, gave me a quick and easy quote, described their products, and gave me options for color and recommended type of roofing for my style of house. I was amazed from the time of my first phone call until they started working on my roof how quick and efficient they are as a team! Scott Patterson came to coordinate and checked in to see how the roof was progressing. With these odd spring storms we keep having, my roof is quiet and leak free!!! Thanks Quality First home Improvement!
