  I called about a leak my house was having during Thanksgiving weekend and was so grateful to have someone willing to come to the house. That gratefulness quickly disappeared as the guy who diagnosed the problem did not file his diagnosis the same day or not even the same week as my problem blaming "Julie" for not being available to fill the paperwork. This delayed my insurance claim which resulted in a week worth of rain coming into my house. When I called to followup, he said because Julie did not file the paperwork that he was waiting on approval for the insurance people. Im like ok, thankfully it's not raining another week, and he just shrugs it off like it's not his problem. Ive had them install bird spikes and some basic roof repair in the past too so Ive had some experience with them hoping it would improve. As the other reviews say, they are often late on calls and arrivals, selectively answers their phones, one weekend it was just completely off with no explanation and guy could give zero F's for anyone experiencing a leak. Julie is super nice but probably has a headache from apologizing for her technician. All of the 5 star reviews are probably their family and friends. Wish I could give any kind of positive spin on this, but sadly, you should find another company if you want a proper assessment and diagnosis, and yes some empathy.

  Horrible company, they don't answer calls or text during business hours, they are not punctual technician was sent hour and half after when they said he will show up, and technician lied to me and to my warranty company came and collected deductible and left which after going up to roof for 3 mins. Never returned calls or text back after visit. Then have a nerve to send me review request go ask how was my experience SMH.

  The owner bid the job, we signed a contract for specific services, the workers who did the work were great but decided that significantly less than was bid needed to be done. Subsequently, the owner still wanted to be paid the full amount despite the contract work not being done. He was rude and disrespectful and we would never work with him again. Ultimately, an agreement was reached, but still far above an amount equal to the amount of work performed.

  Accepted an estimate for roof repair at our home and scheduled an appointment for August 27. They wanted an appointment for August 23, but we wanted to be present during tear off and were not available on Aug 23 so we declined that appointment. They showed up on the morning of the 23rd anyhow and are about to climb up on to the roof when I caught them and remind them we didn't want them at our house to start work that day. The owner then called us, accused us of "screwing him over" by not allowing him to proceed with the work outside of the agreed upon schedule, attempted to manipulate us into allowing work to begin by canceling our appointment on the 27th and saying he may not have another opening for months, and said he was going to increase the cost of the job. He was incredibly rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. I will not be treated that way and will not do business with that type of person, so I withdrew my acceptance of the estimate, and demanded a refund of my $1000 deposit. We have no written contract, only an estimate signed by one of us, and not by the vendor. No contractual language ever signed or agreed to whatsoever. Owner is refusing to return our $1,000 deposit and claims we owe him for the full cost of the job even though they have not and will not be performing any work. We gave him the opportunity to make it right by just refunding our money and walking away - he refused. Now we're having to file a complaint with the BBB and the Contractors State License Board just to get our deposit back. You can't trust this vendor with your money, to keep their appointments, or to even treat their customers professionally and respectfully. And if you can't trust them with that how can you possibly trust them to make repairs on your home?

  I have used them multiple time. The work promised did not match the outcome on the first engagement, but overall did a good job (at a high price.) The second time I used them, they left the roof exposed over night without any sort of covering and my entire office flooded. They took no responsibility. They also left a huge mess in both my and my neighbors yard, I called and asked them to clean up the mess and they never did.

  I chose Bernardino Roofing because of their strong local reputation, and they lived up to it. The owner personally checked in to make sure everything was done right. They even followed up afterward to ensure we were satisfied. That level of customer care really stands out. 10/10 Would recommend !!

  Tony Bernardino came out and fixed up our small shingle repairs no problem. Didn't try to sell us a new roof that we didn't need right now. Was very kind and professional. When we DO need a new roof we'll be calling him - an honest man!

  5/5 stars I absolutely highly recommend them to anyone needing siding repair as that was the service they helped us out with.Darn roof problems are frustrating so you must have someone who is useful like Tony Bernardino and his crew Rodrigo, Juan and Mike help you guys out.
