I gave this guy a 4k deposit and he failed to show up for the contract he signed. He gave another contract and failed to show again. This guy has refused to answer the phone and is refusing to give me my money back. Do not go through him. He will lie and say he sent money through zelle and make you wait 24hrs to confirm he didnt actually send anything. I eventually got my money back from this guy but it was extremely difficult and involved me calling the police on him. Do not recommend.

August 18th, 2026, He finally responded with more excuses as to why he can't pay us and promises to pay soon. He admitted he doesn't have our $7,000. We still need a roof and the money we need has been stolen. August 8th, 2026, I think any business would respond to the review that accused them of stealing. Interesting that Skylar hasn't responded. I'll keep updating my review so other people don't make the same mistake we made. Before hiring him look at a complaint on the Better Business Bureau. August 6, 2026, I don't understand why Skylar thinks it's okay to steal $7,000 from two senior citizens who trusted him. August 5, 2026-Update Please note that Skylar hasn't responded to this review or a demand letter from us after assuring us four times that he would return our deposit. On June 6, 2026, we signed a contract with Skylar Kensa of Pure Peak Roofing to replace our roof shingles, and we gave him a $7,000 deposit, with work to start on June 15. Each of the next two Sundays, June 14 and June 21, he texted us with excuses for not starting on our roof the next day. After two weeks of clear weather when Skylar could have completed our roof, rain was forecasted for the next couple of days, and, on June 29, Skylar sent us a new contract with the start date “to be determined,” due to the weather, telling us that he hoped to start on July 1. When we hadn’t heard from him by July 6, we texted Skylar, asking him when he was going to start work on our roof. When he did not respond and hadn’t started on our roof, we became concerned and found recent negative Google and Yelp reviews asserting that he had done the same thing with them. We then contacted City of Helena staff who told us that Skylar’s city business license expired in 2024 and that he had not obtained a permit for our project. On July 6, we advised Skylar of all of this and told him we wanted our deposit back, and Skylar told us he would return our deposit that week. Despite repeated requests by u

Had a good amount of shingles blow off and had some problems with a chimney, Skylar came out and fixed everything the next day and haven’t had problems since.

I never give reviews but gotta give these guys a great one! Did a new build in Townsend where the winds blows all the time and the roof has held up great and even with a recent super violent wind storm only a shingle came off and they fixed it promptly. Sending them plans for my next build now.

This late in coming but Pure Peak Roofing did a wonderful job on our roof! After many weather delays they were finally able to complete our roof replacement from start to finish in under two weeks in March. They found two bad spots that were the causes of a couple leaks and fixed them! They were so kind, courteous, and communicated the progress every day! They also cleaned up any debris and left the yard clean! I would definitely recommend them if you are looking for a great local roofing company
