  Laura, we always strive to provide the best quality and service to our customers. We are very sorry that you are unhappy with your shingle choice. However the shingles that you chose are literally what we agreed upon and are listed prominently on the one page contract that we signed with you. We offered to bring samples by your home as you admitted in a subsequent phone call, but you refused that offer. Right after our consultation we sent you links to the shingle choices which you reviewed and then selected your shingle choice. When we spoke to you after the job was completed, you and your husband mentioned nothing about any quality issues so we are surprised to see mention of that in this review. Additionally, we never reuse metal components like flashing or vents in any re roofing job that we do. We take our reputation very seriously. We have been in business for over 13 years in Denver. We get all of our business from referrals and past customers because of the quality of our work and communication. This is evident in our reviews and customer loyalty.

  Hi Ben, We are very sorry about this, and even without this review, Matt was planning to make it over to your house today in hopes of talking with you. To be completely honest, he set the appointment with you, he got stuck at an appointment during your time slot, and Matt simply did not save your number to his phone in order to know which number to call. This is a complete mistake on our behalf, and like I said, we were going to come to your home today (7/29) since we lost your number. Please call us today if you still would like us to come, and again, we take full responsibility about this and we had hoped to make it right prior to this review. Thank you.

  I called Platte River roofing because one of my neighbors was using them and they had good reviews online. They came out quickly for an estimate and it seemed liked all will go well and we were set on using them. After a week of not hearing back from them for the quote, I contacted them and they said we would have the numbers in a few days at the most. It has now been almost 4 weeks and I still have not had a return phone call or email. They did not follow through with what they told me so unfortunately I would not trust them to work on my house.

  John Kennedy provided excellent service and quickly. I needed a roof certification on my flip in 24 hours—not only did he deliver that, he was also able to fix a plumbing vent in that time frame. Can’t recommend him enough. Thanks John!

  Platte River Roofing replaced our old 3-tab roof with architectural shingles in February 2024 and are more than happy with the results. John Kennedy was a pleasure to work with and went above and beyond to ensure the new roof met every one of our specifications. He was very detail-oriented, professional and provided us a very clear and easy-to-read quote and timeline. His crew was kind and professional and did a thorough clean up job at the end. The turnaround was exactly what he’d relayed to us during planning and the new roof was up in one day. John was patient and provided us with just what we needed to get our insurance claim fully approved. We love the new roof and cannot recommend John and Platte River Roofing enough!

  My reroofing experience with John, and the crew who worked on my house, was seamless and as close to perfect as a job like this can be from start to finish. Quality work, quality materials, professional all around, great value, and the crew worked steadily from start to finish. Communication on every stage was over the top, which was so refreshing!
