  Penfolds has been reroofing many homes in my neighborhood. A few weeks ago while one home was getting done the shingle wrappers were blowing down the street and I collected and brought to the homeowner to put in their garbage . That's when they realized the roofers had installed a shingle that the homeowner did not sign a contract for . Why would anyone want to have a roof reshingled with such a sneaky company ? They installed a malarkey shingle not penfolds manufactured brand

  Poorly ran business. Bad work ethic. Receptionist doesn't understand English very well leading to miscommunication and wrong information . Not very professional, all in all I would avoid and go elsewhere.

  Well Scott, I didn’t want to leave a review, but you kept asking—so here it is. Hiring Penfolds was a huge mistake from start to finish. We paid roughly $15,000, which was almost double every other quote, because we believed Penfolds was a solid, reputable company and that we’d have no issues for the promised 40 years. That assumption was completely wrong. The job was delayed for months with no communication, and when the crew finally showed up, they rushed the entire roof in one day, even though they had several days of good weather. They worked into the night using flashlights, which resulted in crooked ridge caps—especially over the garage—which later had to be redone. Cleanup was a major concern for us because we have dogs. That concern was ignored. We are still finding nails, metal shards, rubber bands, and debris in our yard years later. The crew ran wheelbarrows through our gardens, left garbage everywhere, and showed zero respect for our property. And yes—crew members were literally pissing in our yard. That alone should tell you the level of professionalism. We raised concerns about water pooling, dripping corners, and moss buildup early on. Those issues were never properly resolved. The roof still drips at the corners, and we now have more moss buildup than we ever had before. Many of the “repairs” involved just smearing caulking over problems, which looks terrible and won’t last. We were also charged $700 for chimney work that was promised to be handled by a professional. That never happened, and the chimney issues were never properly fixed. Even after multiple crews came back, problems remained—and in some cases, the fixes looked worse than the original work. We’re still pulling plastic backing off tiles around the house. Bottom line: this was overpriced, sloppy work full of empty promises. We paid more to avoid headaches and ended up with nothing but them. Huge mistake hiring this company. I strongly urge others to go with a cheaper option. A c

  Penfolds roofing &solar did solar panels installation on my roof in 2019.recently in October 2025 My ECU stopped giving me the readings called Penfolds office to send someone to check what the problem is. Technician came today oct27/2025.still trying new ECU to see if it works. New ECU connect to WiFi but for few minutes only and dis connect again penfolds asking me to pay 260 dollars for new ECU. I noticed Even Newer ecu is not giving me the reading. I am not happy at all Am I going to recommend penfolds ...not so sure

Regarding the ECU, the charge mentioned is from the manufacturer, as the warranty period for your unit has expired. Our priority is to ensure your system is working properly and that you are fully satisfied with your installation.

  They play music on a speaker ALL DAY LONG. The whole neighbourhood does not want to hear your shitty music for 8 hours a day.

  Absolute HORRIBLE service! We waited four months before canceling our service with the company. Our roof was so bad it water was leaking into the light sockets and the repair was urgent and still is. They told us they’d get it done quickly, but that was a lie. It was only after four months they told us they needed to inspect the material and have to order it. Why they didn’t look at the material four months ago when they assessed the scope of work & when they viewed the roof, I don’t know. If you wanna wait half a year to even have them inspect, these are your people. Unreliable.

  We recently had our roof installed by Penfolds Roofing & Solar, and we are very happy with the entire experience. From the beginning, Adam from the sales team was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to communicate with. He explained everything clearly and made the whole process straightforward. The installation also went very smoothly. Joey, the installation team leader, and his crew were professional, efficient, and well organized throughout the project. We really appreciated the care they took around our property. What impressed us most was how thoroughly they cleaned up after the job. Before leaving, they cleaned the yard so well that it almost looked like no construction work had taken place at all. Overall, we had a great experience with Penfolds Roofing & Solar and would definitely recommend them to anyone considering a new roof.

  Just finished the installation of our new metal roof with Penfolds Roofing and Solar, and we can see why this company is considered one of the best in the Lower Mainland. From the very first step of getting an estimate to the final day of the project, every Penfolds employee demonstrated the highest level of professionalism. Most importantly, we felt that everyone genuinely cared about the final result and wanted to ensure we received the best product possible. Sean Crowther, our Technical Advisor, was excellent throughout the quoting and project planning process. He presented different options, patiently answered all of our many questions, and made the entire experience straightforward and stress-free. It was a true pleasure working with him. Eduardo and his installation crew were outstanding. They were always punctual, treated us and our property with great respect, and never left any mess behind at the end of the day. The crew demonstrated exceptional craftsmanship and ingenuity while working around the more complex features of our roof. We absolutely love our new roof.   From the moment Michael walked on to our property he was professional and extremely approachable. We clearly explained our circumstance and he responded very efficiently and respectfully to our situation and expectations. We discussed options with respect to colour and shingle style and appreciated his input to our discussion. After our initial introduction and discussion he returned to our home and sat down and did a thorough review of his estimate. We changed a couple of relatively small details which presented no issue to him. Upon agreeing to the price he referred us to our employee in charge of our file and project. He also introduced by name the crew lead. The project went extremely well and Michael took the time to check in to see how things were proceeding. I was impressed with the crew they sent and their workmanship. Our overall experience with Penfolds was nothing short of professional and respectful with no hard sell, just informed and genuine collaboration. A job well done.

  We had an excellent experience with Penfolds Roofing and with Harvey Chow on our recent home roofing project. Harvey took the time to clearly walk us through the different roofing materials, costs, and warranty options, which helped us feel confident in our decision.   Estimate process was clear, concise and comprehensive. Product Catalogs and literature including contract were well presented and easy to navigate. The execution of the project was well managed. The men doing the actual hard work onsite, were clean and efficient.
