  18 years ago I had an interlock roof put on my house .for the time It was very expensive but I thought it was worth it if it was for my lifetime. turns out It's not. the crew installed it and was very professional and nice. I thought everything was fine until the 1st year of rain the 2nd year of rain the 4th year of rain and 7 steady streams of water that caved in My closet ceiling. They finally came out to repair the roof when I threatened them. After that everything was good for another 14 years now my back deck roof which they didn't replace is now leaking and the wood is rotten. I called them to come out and look at it. They sent a very nice young man out who looked at it and told me. I would have to pay all the labor to remove the roof so they could see What was happening?they wouldn't even give me an estimate to remove the roof so once it was off they could charge anything they wanted to replace it. at 70 yrs old I climbed onto the roof and realized there is a design problem around the skylights where debris and water get trapped then over flow the seam. I told them that it was guaranteed for my lifetime. He said that's not how their contract works now. I'm trying to get ahold of them and I have called them repeatedly and they are not answering the phone.

  These people did a monumentally bad job . And when I called to complain and have them come and assess the problem . He called me HONEY . . No ..sorry that is just rude and derogatory !

  ******Unsafe*****I wish i was told before hand that snow and ice falling will be an issue when installed. The installer was great and now i have a safety issue with snow and ice falling. We live in the lower mainland in a normal home made in the 60's and the last few years has been bad. I have to dig out my whole house and front and back doors every morning after a snow fall. My gutters are always cleaned every year and the snow still slides down and builds up ice and then eventually the rest will slide off like an avalanche. I have to stop mail and package delivery from coming to my house every snow fall. I contacted the main line at Interlock and they want me spend $5000.00 + to fix this problem. After i paid $25,000.00 to have this installed. This should be automatic from the install in my eyes. They are supposed to be the pro's that's why we hire them. Their roofs are unsafe and they need to be held accountable for their product and make it a safe product. Do not buy their product if you want a safe house in the winter.

  Good morning Louise, Your service was planned for this coming weekend. Our service tech has limited availability for overnight trips, so over a weekend is what we have to work with. The panels were produced last week and will be coming with him on his truck. We are arranging help for him as well to speed up the repair. We are watching the weather closely and right now Saturday looks good for us. He will travel Friday night to be on site early Saturday am. If there are any changes in the forecast we will act accordingly. Please let me know if this is plan will work for you.   I bought a house with an interlock roof installed, it was a huge selling point of the house, unfotunately the seller did not tell me (possibly they did not know) that the warranty needed to be transfered (I mean seriously, the roof was installed on the house, not their backs), my "life time" roof started leaking, I contacted Interlock for assistance and they asked me if I transfered the warranty within 60 days, and I advised them that I had no idea that I had to. I told them that I would be willing to pay the transfer fee. And they refused. The reason you ask.... Because they cannot prove that I did not modify the roof. Seriouly! So I asked, how could you prove that the original owner did not modify the roof if you do not come out to inspect it, they had no answer for this. They use a loophole not to back their product that they swear is a lifetime product! Do not buy Interlock, it is way over priced. I am now installing shingles that have a 50 year Labor and Product warranty that is warrantied to the RESIDENT not the Owner! They are called Mystique shingles and are produced in Alberta, I am certain any roofer in the Canada can obtain them, and they are beautiful! *In response to the owner below, the product warranty is by Interlock brand not the installer so it does not matter where it was installed, the product itself is horrible. The roofer below may be wonderful, but the product Interlock itself is garbage. But just to clarify, this owner did nothing wrong. My home is in Alberta, it is the Interlock Company themselves that I have a problem with*

  The salesman was less than knowledgeable about roofing. Overall, the company communicated poorly. The product looks nice, but it is overpriced. If i had to do it over again, i would go with a steel roof.

  I recently had my 25 year old asphalt roof replaced with an Interlock Metal roof. I'm so very happy with my decision. In fact, best decision ever to have Interlock Industries install. The metal roof is manufactured in Delta, BC and they have their own installers. It's not panels! It looks very much like a cedar roof! Colour is awesome as well! My home is located in Victoria on Vancouver Island and looks great with my new roof! Interlock is a very professional business from contract signing to installation. Amazing crew that gets the job done in a timely manner. My roof looks fabulous. It's a work of art!!

  Extremely satisfied with the whole process. The initial visit by the sale representative shows they have done their research on my roof and what will be required. They started work exactly when they said they would. The installation crew that worked on the roof always kept the site clean and free of nails and other trash. Highly recommended.

  From the time I made the decision, to select Interlock as the successful roofing company, I have been extremely satisfied. The customer service has need excellent, regardless of whether it was administration, schedulers or the sale representative. The 4-5 man crew worked hard and long hours, under very hot conditions. Under the supervision of Antonio, a man with extensive experience and thoroughness, the project advanced quickly. One thing that demonstrated this was the focus on keeping the site clean and free of materials and nails and fasteners. Upon completion, my neighbours were echoing my own observation; if a roof could be beautiful, this one met that standard. People walking the public trail, have stopped to take pictures, and ask questions. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

  My husband and I debated for some time as whether or not to replace our aging roof with a metal roof or go with the standard asphalt shingles. We’re so happy we decided to go with the metal roof as it turned out better than our expectations and doesn’t take away from the contemporary house style. We appreciated that the original meet and greet started with the estimate right up front and then led into the details of the roof color choices., etc. The roofers were hard working and professional and did a great job of cleaning up the yard daily. We highly recommend this company!
