A very disorganised place with the right hand and the left hand not coordinating. Truly difficult process between the tel response, sales team and the technicians. Doing business with a family owned with an owner who doesn’t know what is going on but get aggressive when you call them out. They hounded me for payment before they finished the job.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry that your experience with our company didn’t meet your expectations. Unfortunately, there were some miscommunications between all parties involved, which contributed to expectations not being fully aligned. We work hard to provide a high level of service and clear communication, but we also recognize that sometimes a working relationship may simply not be the right fit. While we’re disappointed we weren’t able to reach a more positive outcome, we appreciate the opportunity to have worked with you and wish you the best moving forward. ~Peak Roofing

I would strongly advise against hiring Peak for any repair or restoration work. My father hired this company to repair our roof, gutters, and siding after a tree caused significant damage. Peak assured us that the damage was minor and that they were fully capable of handling the repairs. That turned out to be far from true. There was extensive damage to the framing and one of the trusses that should have required a building permit and proper structural repair. Peak is not licensed to perform structural work, yet they took it on anyway. They made repairs from the roof without ever entering the attic, leaving major structural issues unaddressed. After growing concerned about the quality of their work, I hired an independent structural engineer for a post-repair inspection. His findings confirmed my concerns—Peak’s “repairs” were completely unacceptable and did not meet even basic standards for structural safety. The quality of their exterior work was equally unacceptable. The shingles they used did not match the existing roof, both in color and brand, and the siding replacement was subpar. The siding they installed doesn’t match the existing material at all. Even though the original siding was discontinued, they could have easily achieved a better match or followed my request to relocate existing pieces from less visible areas. Instead, the repaired sections are glaringly obvious due to the different texture and wood grain. Their customer service was just as poor. The office staff was extremely rude and dismissive when I raised concerns about the shoddy work after repairs. They refused to speak with me because I’m not the legal homeowner, even though I’m the one living in the house and dealing with the aftermath. Instead, they only communicated with my father, who lives out of state and was shown limited photos that didn’t reflect the full extent of the problems. This company misrepresented its qualifications, performed work it was not licensed to do, dismissed l

Ms. Uslu, Your review is very concerning to us at Peak Roofing Contractors. We pride ourselves on not only the highest workmanship standards in our industry, but our relationship with our customers is also of paramount importance. Addressing your comments individually will provide a clearer picture of the project. 1. “Refusing to work within our schedule” a. Our timeline was very succinct. We can only work as efficiently as the manufacturers making the product, and as Mother Nature allows us to work. b. Your initial call to Peak was on 10/24. We were able to get to your home on 10/31. c. You made your initial deposit on 11/12 at which time the windows and attic fans were ordered. d. 12/3 – the attic fans were installed. 2. “Tracking mud throughout our home, …… workers forced open our side door into the house breaking the bottom piece that held the storm door open…” a. We were unaware of any disturbance to your home until this review posted on 3/15. If there was something amiss, we wish you would have brought it to our attention immediately rather than waiting 2 months to let us know via a Google review. b. Please note, we have attempted to call you as well as sent an e-mail and have not had a reply. We are very willing to talk and/or meet with you to discuss your concerns. 3. “After waiting for months for them to finally replace 3 windows…” a. The windows were ordered on 11/12. It takes 4-6 weeks to produce the windows, and additional time for shipping. The Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays were also within the timeline. b. 1/7 was the original date of window installation, however there was ice/freezing rain, and we requested to delay the install until weather permitted (you agreed). The install took place on 1/10. c. 1/15 we received final payment from you. 4. “The only reason they have good reviews is because Warrenton is small and there are no other options.” a. There are many businesses in Fauquier and nearby counties that provide home improvement serv

Very Disappointed/confused/puzzled/frustrated and bad experience. Our roof replacement was done a while back . Decided to review it so that Hopefully management might improve/correct problems and less people experience what we experienced. Believed overall management team is not responsible or not in best practice as roofers. Certainly Not in best interest for homeowners . Saw some bad online reviews about peak and one customer I know from the neighborhood is in the process of filing a BBB complaint against peak for a failed roof replacement. We are thinking about if do the same. Visited Peak, not impressed. No show room, empty tiny cubicles. Happened to observe when a salesperson happens to made an progress on a contract, the conversation between him and manager made me concerned how honest they are with consumers. Peak has 20 + employees and has been moving 2-3 times within recent 2 years . 70% of Their employees is less than 5 years old history with company and at least 3 is added within 1-6 months . before signed contract, was told a total of about 120 hours(12 worker*10 hour/day*1 day). But on actual installation day, only put in 66 work hours(6 workers*11hour). still required to pay same amount of contacted money. believed it is management decision to cut corners to save cost by sending 50% less workers. Not sure if it is a common practice for peak to train salesman to promise well in order to sell and sign contract and then not keep their words and cut corners and then just Deny responsibility by saying it is out of his pay grade for how many workers assigned to work or if it is only for this salesman’s sells tactics. Not sure if work is done correctly. Roof is not laid flat as our old roof or other neighbors roof that is replaced at same time frame by other roofers. Called and emailed , but management team answered phone twice and then become unreachable . On the same day within 2 Hours, Each time when calling , received different reason why

Peak has over 350 reviews, of which the vast majority of them are 5-Stars, and we appreciate every customer review; though very rarely do we receive a negative one such as yours. But even if your review doesn’t match up with the actual work we did for you it’s important we respond, just like we respond to all the positive ones. You bring up a lot of examples of why you are unhappy with your experience working with us, and truly your review gets a bit confusing because of the many reasons you claim caused your unhappiness with us. You don’t like our office setting, our phone & email manners, the sales staff, our installers, and the finished product. You’ll have to pardon us for beginning to think you’re looking for things to be unhappy about! We have tried many ways to make this project more enjoyable for you, and we have been very accommodating in regards to your needs as a customer, but so far, it seems, to no avail. So we’re going to state our case on Google Reviews to make it clear your review is unfounded and should be removed. In response to just some of your complaints: As a small, but growing family owned & operated business, Peak has been providing top-notch service to the Northern Virginia market since 2006. We have increased our staff considerably over the last few years, and plan to continue in that direction should we be so blessed. Our employees are licensed, bonded, and insured professionals, who are well-trained in the exterior home improvement industry. Our work crews are thoroughly vetted, and though some consider English to be their second language, we hold their work up against any other home exterior company in town. Peak’s pricing model and timelines are consistent with industry standards, and our Price Match Guarantee has saved many of our customers’ countless dollars over the last 16 years. As shown by our many local awards, the quality of work Peak provides our clients is equal to, or exceeding in the work performed by similar business

Ms. Barry McAlister (Fletcher) We appreciate the review/comment but there are some discrepancies. First had you reached out to us with regards to your concerns we would have been more than happy to address them instead of you again going to the internet to pose your concerns and distrust of Peak Roofing first then reaching out to Kandi. Also, we are Peak Roofing, Not Peak Roofers. We have made multiple attempts to reach you with regard to your driveway. We have acknowledged our part in the damage to the driveway. Although it was from the shingle delivery truck that damaged the driveway and because one of the project coordinators failed to communicate with you on time of delivery therefore the driveway was damaged. We get it and have asked numerous times to correct it. Now to the current issues. Mike our Service Manager is scheduled to come out next Thursday as you requested. These issues will be addressed and corrected. I did want to touch base with you on your comment about egg carton. The material you are questioning is an insulation vent baffle. They are in fact constructed with a material that is “egg carton” like but is a polystyrene construction which is a lightweight and moisture-resistant ventilation system. This was installed at the time of your home construction to facilitate proper ventilation. The pictures of the disconnected dryer duct and the comment about catching your house on fire is completely unrelated to the work performed. When it comes to replacing penetrations on the roof, it is just that. From the roof, not from the attic/crawl space Lastly, I would like to address your last comment with regards to our reviews. One I do not take lightly someone questioning our integrity. We have worked hard to provide the best customer service possible. Do we fall short sometimes, absolutely! But when this does happen; that is when we go the extra mile to ensure that our customer's concerns have been met and exceeded. I would like for you as well as our many

Update 10/16/2020 It’s been 45 days since the work was complete, and Peak Roofers has not taken responsibility to repair my driveway nor help with a recessed light that popped out. With all good intentions, their email suggested that their clients are like their neighbors where we can all shake hands. I received a $50.00 off coupon for any future Peak Roofing work. I am including photos today to show what it took for me, a 127 pound, 57 year old lady to do regarding a simple favor of repositioning a recessed light that detached during the roof replacement. I asked Peak Roofers to do this for me, when passing by, like a neighbor would do. See the text message asking for help. So, photos will show what it took for me to do a “simple task”. I borrowed a 20 foot ladder from my neighbor. It fell out of my truck on 522. A man with a winch appeared like an angel. I got home.I carried the heavy, awkward ladder up stairs, while scratching painted walls, fought to get it up stairs +into my room, moved a king sized mattress, finished, moved ladder back down stairs, into the truck. I drove back to a neighbor’s house a few miles away with hazard lights blinking. I understand good intentions, being neighborly and shaking hands, but do they? Working with Kandi + James was wonderful because both were patient, polite while helping me advocate to my home owner’s insurance company. However, I was then directed to Tina for scheduling + I gave her specific instructions regarding trucks + delivery. She did not pass on this crucial information to two drivers who showed up today, tearing up a newish asphalt driveway. Both drivers of both trucks said, “I did not receive any information about your driveway from Peak Roofers.” When I called + spoke to Tina, about the boundaries I had set with her regarding this, I was met with blame. She did not give my simple driving/parking instructions to the drivers period. I am now disappointed that the positive flow of the process was i

Don't sleep on Peak Roofing! These guys are great and I highly recommend them. This summer's storm activity did a number on my roof and siding and Peak quickly came out and inspected it, showed me the pictures, provided an estimate and we had a deal. Mike clearly explained what was needed, the costs and the timing. Tina quickly handled the financials and permits. Donny and his team came out and stripped the roof in no time. They replaced all the rotten wood, including fixing what the original builder never properly built, replaced the siding and quickly cleaned everything up. These guys are great and I highly recommend them.

I had a mixed experience with Peak Roofing. The salesman was great to work with: responsive, professional, and clear about the scope. The roofing team was also excellent. They knew exactly what needed to be done, did not require additional handholding or guidance, and completed the roof-related work correctly the first time. Unfortunately, my experience with the gutter/downspout side of the job was very different. The gutter crew ultimately required four visits to get the work completed correctly, and each visit required explicit direction from me regarding what needed to be done. It did not appear that the crew had reviewed the agreed scope or design drawings before or during the visits. During the process, a trim board was damaged and had to be replaced. To Peak’s credit, they did return, replaced the damaged trim board, and ultimately completed the job to my satisfaction. I appreciate that the company stood behind the work and made it right. Overall, I would be comfortable recommending Peak for roof work based on the quality of the roofing crew and the professionalism of the sales process. However, based on my experience, I would have serious reservations about using them again for gutter or downspout work.

Ryan, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad to hear you had a positive experience with our sales and roofing teams, and we appreciate your recognition of their professionalism and quality of work. We also understand your frustration with the gutter and downspout portion of the project. Requiring multiple visits and additional direction from you is not the experience we want our customers to have. Your comments regarding communication of the scope and design details to the crew are especially helpful, and we’re using that feedback to improve our process. We appreciate the opportunity to correct the issues, replace the damaged trim, and ultimately complete the project to your satisfaction. Thank you again for your business and for giving us the opportunity to make things right. ~Amanda Smith-Marketing

We recently had our roof replaced by Peak Roofing. Overall, the roof itself looks great, and we’re happy with the quality of the roofing work. Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by a lack of communication regarding the soffit ventilation. As part of the installation, numerous round aluminum soffit vents were added throughout our white soffits. At no point during the sales process or before installation were we told this would significantly change the appearance of our home or shown what these vents would look like. Had we known, we would have asked about white vents or other ventilation options before the work began. When we raised our concerns, we were told their manufacturer only offers aluminum vents and that it would cost an additional $350 to have them painted white. We understand the need for proper attic ventilation, but we believe homeowners should be informed before such a noticeable exterior change is made. The roof itself looks very nice, but the communication surrounding the soffit vents was disappointing and left us feeling blindsided. We hope Peak improves this part of their process so future customers know exactly what to expect before work begins.

Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We also sincerely appreciate you bringing your concerns about the soffit vents to our attention. We understand how frustrating it must have been to see a noticeable change to your home's appearance without having had that discussion beforehand. Clear communication is something we strive for, and it's evident we fell short of your expectations in this part of the process. Your feedback is valuable, and we've shared it with our team as an opportunity to improve how we communicate ventilation requirements and aesthetic considerations with future homeowners before installation begins. We want every customer to feel informed and confident throughout the entire project. Thank you again for trusting Peak Roofing with your home. If there's anything further, we can do to discuss your concerns or assist you, please don't hesitate to reach out.
