  Would not recommend this company to anyone with common sense. I escorted this salesman off my property as he had no respect for the call and my time. Pls read the entire review. I called his company for an estimate in Sylmar, in the same city they are located. Got an appointment between 9-11 am today. At 10:30, I had to call their office to get a status and was told the technician was in Lynwood-by the Airport, we then arranged another time for 1:00pm When arrived, the person appeared very cleaned and well dressed, no tools, and in a sporty car to look at a roof damage. The person stated that he didn’t need a ladder or tools because he had technology to see my roof and make determinations. He instead wanted to come inside the house and take a look at where the leak was happening, then access to the attic which would give him an idea of the the condition of the of the wood from the inside of the house. At that moment, I escorted him of my property. If the they can see the conditions of my roof from their office, why not give a phone estimate? instead they wasted my morning and until 1:30 pm for absolutely nothing. The first rule in the internet when looking for a roofer is “they do not need to enter the property inside the house, only the roof”.

  Highly recommend this roofing crew. They kept in touch from the first estimate through scheduling, with regular updates when weather caused delays. They explained the roofing price clearly and walked us through shingle and material options in simple terms, which made the whole process easy to understand. Once the roof work began, they had a strong crew on site and stayed organized from start to finish. Tracy, the manager on duty, was friendly, very knowledgeable, and took extra care around the property, even making sure stray roofing nails were cleaned up so our driveway and tires stayed safe. The workmanship looked excellent, and the drone photos they shared during the job gave us a clear view of the progress and the finished roof without any guesswork. They also helped with a few extra items, including replacing damaged gutter sections and installing solar roof vents after finding that the old ones were no longer working properly. It was clear they cared about doing the job right, improving ventilation, and leaving the home in better shape than before. Overall, a smooth roofing experience with great communication, solid craftsmanship, and very helpful service. Highly recommend.

  The whole experience with Owen & Sons Roofing was excellent from the start. Brayden took time to inspect our home carefully, explain the roofing options in simple terms, and help us choose the best solution for our leak and overall roof condition. We had an active roof leak, so the quick scheduling was a huge help, especially with the hot Sylmar weather where a damaged roof can get worse fast. The crew arrived right on time, stayed organized, and completed the roofing work smoothly with no surprises and no added charges. Our job needed a custom flashing piece, and Tracy made sure it was built on site to fit properly without delaying the project. The workmanship was top quality, the installation looked clean and solid, and they also did a very thorough cleanup around the property when the job was done. We are extremely happy with the results and would gladly recommend them for any roofing repair or replacement.

  They went above and beyond from start to finish. We contacted them after a severe storm caused major damage during a home sale, including the roof, gutters, downspouts, siding, and window screens.   A local roofing team was recommended to me by another agent when we were having a tough time tracking down a roof leak. They worked with us again and again to find the source, and it was not a simple issue. Their crew stayed patient, explained the problem clearly, and repaired the leak when no one else had been able to solve it. Later, after more wind and rain damage, they quickly patched the affected areas to help protect the home while we waited for the insurance process to move forward.   When we first reached out about a small roof leak, we weren't sure if we should repair the spot or just go ahead and replace the entire roof. Brayden came out and explained all our options clearly, helping us understand what would work best for our home. After meeting with their sales team, we chose to go with a full roof replacement. Although the price wasn't the lowest compared to other quotes, this company really stood out because of how friendly and responsive everyone was. The whole job took about a week since they also had to handle some extra trim work, but Brayden stayed in touch every step of the way. He always let us know who would be coming by, what work would be done each day, and when to expect things to finish up. After the roof was installed, Brayden even came back personally to walk around the property and double-check everything.
