  (Updated review 2025) Not too long (few months) after my roof was finished, it became apparent that one of my replaced skylights continued to leak water as it did prior to my roof replacement. I brought this up with Ashton who acknowledged the issue and took a look at it; He made some minor attempts to correct this, saying he identified the issue, but has not successfully resolved the leaking issue. Without this resolved, I feel essentially close to where I was before I got a roof replacement -- The leaking from skylights is what triggered the replacement in the first place. The reason I'm updating this AND reducing my rating for OnSite Contractors is because I've spent a year and a half texting for assistance - I even offered to pay for the work multiple times. I've kept all of my text messages and phone call records with the two phone numbers I have for him. He's been nice and has made promises to come by to resolve the issue, but he has not followed through. At this point it looks like my only option is to find a new contractor that will likely want to completely redo my roof and skylights, but we'll see. If OnSite would get back with me and correct this issue, I would gladly update this rating. I would no longer recommend OnSite Contractors based on their communication and willingness to follow up on jobs. I'll probably be relaying this information to every review site and person I can find. My next stop is the BBB customer review page. (Original review that is no longer valid) I used OnSite Contractors to replace my incredibly old and disintegrating tin roof; This included complete re-decking, addressing some rot, replacing two skylights, and working with some uncommon angles / obstacles. I am beyond satisfied with the work done and have nothing but high praise for how communicative, knowledgeable, honest, reasonable, and reliable OnSite (Ashton and his crew) Contractors are.   We called Ashton in November of 2023 for a bid of all new windows, new siding, and new roof for both our garage and house. He gave us an estimate and we signed the contract in January of 2024. We read our contract and ashton wasn't going to do the jambs and trim of any of the windows.We had to call around to other contractors to finish his job, there was not a single contractor that would take the job. So we were brutally honest with him and said we cant get anyone to finish YOUR JOB, he said he doesn't like to go in people's houses. To properly install any window or door you need to go inside the house to shim. He eventually agreed to do all jambs and trim. They started taking windows out, one by one and each window we had to had to be redone..because there was no insulation. We live in the Midwest, how in the hell do you not insulate windows? Everything they did had to be redone because nothing was correct, we had to babysit every step of the way. This was obviously the biggest project Ashton had ever taken on. We had to remind ashton of single thing along the way, which also meant they had to keep redoing things along the way. Hes very scatter-brained.He's very young and lacks the experience. He lacks communication with his customers and crew. It's been 6 months that our job "completed" the siding on our garage is falling off, but we had to fix that ourself because he's not coming back. He said he was going to come back to trim our back door, but once again not a priority! Not to mention our back door siding is not flush and is sticking out. Ashton doesn't guarantee his work! We've contacted him multiple times, still nothing! I would never recommend him to anyone. We recently found out that none of the windows ashton installed were caulked, instead of being an honest person he blamed us, the customers for not wanting them caulked. He doesn't take responsibility for his actions.

Furthermore, we have made numerous attempts to address their concerns, but the client has consistently engaged in harassing behavior, including using inappropriate language towards the business owner with personal attacks. They have also made false claims across multiple platforms, including Google, Facebook, Yelp, and the BBB, in an attempt to discredit the company. Based on this pattern of behavior, we strongly advise potential business owners to carefully consider their interactions with this individual before entering into any agreements.   Ashton and his team did a great job on our egress window and front gutter. He is knowledgable and friendly, and got the job done in a timely manner. I will go to him for any future work we need done, and would recommend him to anyone.

  Ashton was excellent to work with!!! We had a roofing/attic job that needed to be done in a short window of time and Ashton got it done. He is very responsive. His communication and work are excellent!!! I will highly recommend him to future clients and customers in my real estate practice.

  I would highly recommend Ashton and his team at Onsite Contractors, LLC. I discovered a leak a few weeks ago during a pretty steady rainfall, so I contacted Ashton, who arrived within 2 hours to provide a temporary fix. He followed up with a quote the next day and a phone call. We moved forward on the following week. Within 2 weeks they were on site and replaced the roof and as an added bonus they installed new gutters and downspouts at no additional cost. I was really impressed with their work ethic-they worked into the evening during the rain to finish the job. If you're looking for a professional, reliable and generous contractor look no further. I would hire them again in a heart beat!

  Ashton and his team are very busy people, however, they did an excellent job with our roof and fixing our ceiling. They were also able to help us with some last minute projects such as installing gutters and fixing a hole in our tub. We appreciated all of their work!

  Ashton and his crew did a wonderful job on our roof and gutter replacement. They were friendly, professional, and a pleasure to work with. Our project experienced several hiccups, and the way in which Ashton handled these situations is a true testament to his integrity and passion for his company. He was upfront with these issues, worked tirelessly to remedy them as quickly as possible, and was more than generous in his compensation for the delays. The only reason we docked one star was because most of these issues were "unforced errors" that were within his sphere of control and resulted in avoidable delays. That all being said, no project is without its setbacks and we just happened to draw the unlucky straw multiple times. He genuinely cared about the delays we experienced and made sure the job was done right. He wants to earn your business, puts the customer first, and is not afraid to step up to any challenges. I would highly recommend him and know that you are hiring someone who loves his job and will stop it nothing to ensure the job is done to your satisfaction.

  Excellent communication, work effort and work quality. Got the roof on our house done in one day. Worked non-stop, fixed roof issues the same day. We were very happy with the overall job.

  Ashton installed an egress window for us. We had a few weather delays but Ashton communicated well and got started with the work done when the weather allowed. Ashton was great with communicating each step of the process and what they were doing. The egress window looks great and we are happy with his work.

  Ashton was amazing to work with! He was able to squeeze our roof job in the week after our estimate. So appreciate the great work him and his team did on our roof! Highly recommended!!
