  I felt like I paid them so I can do the work of a secretary for them. I paid the first part of my invoice, but they never called me to schedule a time to get the work on my roof done. Finally, I called them after more than 3 weeks of waiting. A guy came to get the gutters done, but then they never called me to schedule a time for a person to come get the shingles done. I waited a week and then had to call them back AGAIN to urge them to complete the work. Once the work was complete, they overbilled me for the work, so I had to contact them to fix it before making payment. If you don't have time to keep doing followup calls, don't go with this company.

  Requested an estimate for roof replacement due to storm damage. Representative came out for evaluation but did not get back to me for three weeks. In that time a different contractor had the new roof in place and a lifetime warranty with it. Evidently First American didn't need $20,000.

  Workers left trash and nails all over the property after several messages regarding the issue. Was told 3x project was going to be wrapped up when there was multiple week delays. Work was certainly at least average but was it was unorganized/uncoordinated and I found garbage and nails for weeks afterwards

  Luke was the inspector who was going to get me a quote. He said he was here and rang the doorbell. However I was in the house and never heard it. Then he lied and said he rang the doorbell and went to the back door where I was in the kitchen and never saw him, and then was very defensive about the interaction. Definitely would not recommend. Very unprofessional.

  Poor communication (no communication unless I called them after several weeks of not hearing anything), told me I didn't have roof damage after the Holmen hail storm when in fact I did. Another company came in and showed me all the damage. I will never use your company and will make sure none of my family or friends use you either.

  It is a very disappointing experience. We asked specifically if we would be charged for travel time of the worker driving to our house and were reassured by the secretary that there was not a charge for that. When we received our invoice, the bill included $40 for just travel time.

  I have never had such horrible customer service!!! I had reached out to them to get an estimate for our recent storm that can through, which had decent sized hail. Got an email response back stating our area was not hit hard enough from that storm. They went on to state they had someone out in our area who only had minimal damage so they didn't feel that our home was worth their time. They would only be working in the area that were hit the hardest! Not sure who would even state that??? I wouldn't trust them to do any quality work if they have no problem stating our my home didn't have enough damage to get their time or business. Looks like my insurance adjuster begs to differ on that!

  Sorry, roofing that was put on was fine. The problem was when the roof starts to leak they are nowhere to be seen. Called eight times, forced me to call and get someone to fix it before losing the plaster on the floor. Do not recommend,

  I had Cody and his crew out to fix a leak in Fall of 2025 and they did a great job. Had another small leak in the garage and he was able to patch in less than an hour. He is a super nice guy and does great work while having my best interest in mind. Highly recommend!

  Salesman Nick was great to work with. He was knowledgeable and thorough with the estimate and customer care. The roofers on the other hand, not so great. The crew was careless, sloppy, and even discarded our personal property that they thought was garbage during clean up, however they left their own trash in the yard. They also used way too long of nails on the shed and busted through the decking on the entire inside of the roof. The job however looks very neat and well-done (on the outside), but it would be nice to have a foreman show up (one never did) who spoke English and could communicate certain things with us during the process. Overall, we’re satisfied with the product and look of the new roof so that’s the reason for the high rating but their laborers lacked respect for our things. Pros: friendly and professional sales staff, price, finished roof looks really good. Cons: lack of communication with crew and foreman, poor communication with their roofing superintendent, sloppy laborers.

At the same time, we’re disappointed that the installation experience fell short of the standard we expect from our crews. Your personal property should never have been mistaken for trash or discarded, and we’ve taken responsibility for replacing the items that were accidentally thrown away. We also agree that the debris left behind should have been caught during our final cleanup. Regarding the shed, we discussed the use of the 1 1/4" nails and understand your concern, particularly with the unfinished interior. While the nail length was appropriate for the roofing installation, we recognize that we should have communicated ahead of time what you could expect to see from the inside of the shed. That conversation should have happened before the work began. We also hear your concern about communication during the project. Clear communication with homeowners and treating their property with respect are both important parts of the First American experience, and we’ll be using your feedback with our production team to improve going forward. We appreciate you giving us a high rating despite the frustrations and, most importantly, we’re happy to know that you’re ultimately satisfied with your new roof.   These guys did an excellent job. They were very detailed in their work making sure that everything was done correctly the first time. Xavier & Julian were excellent! Very respectful and made sure that all my questions were answered. They worked long days and the end results were better than I imagined. They did a beautiful job!

  After a 5 star siding job done by First American, we also decided to have them do our egress window. Nate and his colleague did a wonderful job putting in the new window and matching the woodwork color. The crank mechanism is very smooth operating!

  The day Nick came out to the house to give us an estimate, we were excited to work with First American Roofing and Siding. His enthusiasm and excitement is contagious and makes the experience so much easier and fun! Said the work would start soon and with the reviews Im sure the roof will look great again thanks. Keep you posted after the work is done! Cody, Joey, and Jack did great work were prompt, courteous and very professional and got it done in 2 days.   I had reached out to Nick Noe with First American Roofing for an estimate for a client after an inspection showed that a new roof was needed. He was so prompt, punctual, and knowledgable! He was out there the next day, did a thorough inspection, provided photos, a detailed report, and a comparable bid to his competitors. I would highly recommend!

  Jim H and staff did the assessment after a huge boulevard tree branch fell on the roof of our porch June 10th. Jim H came out that same day and did a temporary patch to tide us over until a repair could be scheduled. Cody Hurst came out and described to us how he would be doing the repairs which included fixing the hole in the roof from the large tree branch. He showed us the metal patch that he was going to use in the repair process. He described and then provided photos of each step in the process. The metal patch was put in place, shingles were replaced, facia was repaired, and everything was documented with photos. The fact that they came out the same day as the incident to do a temporary patch was amazing. It kept water from destroying our porch while we waited for the complete repair to take place. This is the same company who replaced our entire roof many years ago. They do excellent work and they have come out to inspect our roof periodically.
