  Last year they put a roof on and were back several times for a leak that developed around my chimney that they could not resolve. I sent them pictures at night when the water was pouring in Bill stated that I was harassing them by texting the photos at a time that was late He claimed it was my chimney that was the problem. I had a chimney contractor inspect it and found leaks in the flashing and other areas that were where the water was coming in . He also had a roofing pro inspect this. All I know is that the leak issue was resolved then. I also as a precaution had the chimney resurfaced . This wound up costing me additional money to take care of his problem. Before the resurfacing was done The chimney did not leak after the roofer had made his repairs to the flashing and areas by the chimney. This was an issue that Northstar could not and would not resolve.

As noted during our multiple return visits, our team identified that the root of the issue appeared to be with the chimney’s masonry, which is outside the scope of our roofing services. The flashing we installed was compromised due to the condition of the chimney, and we advised that it be addressed by a masonry professional. We understand you had additional work completed by other contractors, and we’re glad to hear the issue was eventually resolved. We stand by the work we performed within the limits of our scope and take all concerns seriously.

  Posting this hoping somebody who is looking to get work done does not make the same mistakes i did and use this company north star roofing. I was very clear from the first estimate that i needed the work done asap being that i had a couple leaking skylight windows in my roof but They were in no rush to do the job. I wound up getting all 5 skylight windows replaced and it took them 5 weeks to complete the job, leaving behind all the old windows, garbage, trim, nails, and cigarette buds all over my property for me to get rid and clean up which took about a week and after already making clear that they were to take care of all the clean up. After they finally complete the job 5 weeks later, the owners never came back to make sure everything was cleaned up, completed, or to talk about the damage they caused along the way. Over a month later i received a text from bill saying i owe him $2600 and i am still yet to receive an invoice or receipts in over 3 months at this point. I try explaining that i had $1500 worth of damage i have to take care of and we need to come to an agreement and i had to rent a truck to dispose of all the materials and garbage. He then threatened me and continued to curse me off and threaten me some more. He said he would send me the invoice finally and deduct my damage off of his total. Today i finally receive an invoice after 4 months and he has doubled his total to $5000. Where the other $2400 came from i have no idea, but he is attempting to still some how get away with out having to cover the damages hes caused to my home. I thought i was more than fair during this entire terrible experience which is still being dragged out and going unresolved. I really regret choosing this company and could saved so much time and headache by choosing anyone else to complete the job which was a two day job at best.   It was very easy working with Mike. His team did a great job replacing my roof. They were punctual, diligent and cleaned up after the process. Roof turned out beautiful. Highly recommend!

  Albin & his crew were amazing start to finish! They redid our house & garage roof after storm damage. Albin came out and verified the damage & took the time to explain the process. Would highly recommend.

  I was searching for a roof company to have a roof replacement. Mike from North Star Roof Services was highly recommended by my friend and he didn't disappoint. Not only was he able to beat the other competitors prices he also worked with our insurance company which the other roof companies would not do. Mike, Bill and their team did an excellent job replacing our roof. The entire roof was done in the same day which also included clean up. I'm super pleased with our new roof and the entire process from the beginning to the completion. Great job Mike and your team!. I would highly recommend North Star Roof Services to anyone who needs any roof work done. They're the best!

  North Star Roof Service is a very good company and the workers are very sharp on time. They finished at same day, perfect professional workers and cleaned everything after they finished. I Was impressed and thankful to have them over my house and did my roof completely perfect and strong enough to endure severe storm or winds also very good if I would like in future to install the solar panel. I would like to thank Michael Crum who followed the work of his work- team made sure everything went well and perfect. I recommend everyone to hire North Star Roof Service to do this important safe amazing works and will be surprised and happy. Thanks everyone

  Just had a new roof roof installed yesterday. The crew was amazing and very professional. Neighbors keep asking me who my contractor was. They completed the job in one day and cleaned up the yard totally. I would highly recommend! I have the best roof in the neighborhood!!

  Mike and his team do outstanding work. Everything was thoroughly explained and I knew exactly what the replacement would entail. He was patient with us while we picked out shingles and quickly got to work after we decided. Cleanup after was spotless. Hand down would recommend them to anyone.
