  Extremely Disappointed: Significant Overpricing, Careless Damage, and Poor Follow-Through We deeply regret choosing Newhaus Roofing for our roofing project. After completion of the work, we consulted with a professional engineer with more than 45 years of experience in residential construction and rehabilitation. Based on his review, he estimated that we were overcharged by approximately $20,000 compared to reasonable industry pricing for the scope of work performed. In addition, several concerns arose during and after installation: • Interior Damage / Carelessness: We discovered multiple small nail penetrations extending from the attic area into interior portions of the home, suggesting careless installation practices. We also found numerous roofing nails left throughout the yard despite the company being aware that we have dogs, creating a serious safety concern. And we found chipping and cracking around and under the perimeter of our roof specifically where beams stretch out the most beyond the walls of our home. • Performance Claims: We were informed during the sales process that the new roofing system would help improve insulation performance and interior comfort. In our experience, the home has not performed as represented and has actually felt colder during winter conditions following installation, and no noticeable improvement during the summer months and heat. • Lack of Transparency & Follow-Up: We made four separate requests for attic photographs reportedly taken by Newhaus during the project. Despite repeated follow-up attempts, these materials were never provided. This created frustration and raised concerns regarding communication, organization, and accountability. For the premium price charged, we expected substantially better workmanship, professionalism, and follow-through. Unfortunately, our experience did not reflect that expectation.

  I have to give a 2 because the job got done. Art HE's lied to me at least 3 times, he gave me a bid for 25k i told him i had a bid for 21k he said I can do that when I reminded him , he denied it. the demo guys didn't speak any English, they had to call someone to answer questions, all in all it was a poor experience

  These guys promise great work and they do lousy work and then they say you have a five-year warranty and within six months of them doing the work it’s already leaking and they won’t return my call

  Workmanship is very good. Their staff Sam is friendly and professional. Update my review: One year later I then noticed the warranty certificate they sent to me is only for 15 years while when we signed the contract their staff promised me the warranty is for 50 years and this promise was written in the contract. Not an honest staff or company.

  BE CAREFUL with their Tarping. $2500 for white plastic which is blown away by wind overnight and they won’t reinforce it. Had the same thing done for $800. Their prices are inflated and I don’t believe they’re honest.

  We were working with Newhaus on a typical re-roof when an act of God intervened resulting in significant repairs to be completed.   We had an excellent experience working with Newhaus on our condo association’s three-building project. They handled extensive dry rot repair and painting, and throughout the entire process their team was professional, respectful, and incredibly easy to work with. They were efficient, diligent, and paid close attention to detail, making sure the job was done right. Their pricing was fair, communication was clear, and they consistently delivered on what they promised. It’s not always easy to find contractors you can trust with a large project, but Newhaus exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend them and would gladly work with them again.

  The HOA for our 28 unit townhouse complex recently hired NewHaus to repair all of our exterior wood and siding and repaint the entire complex. The scope of the project was extensive since each unit has wooden window boxes on the kitchens and bedrooms with several areas containing extensive rotted wood. As the board member overseeing the project I worked directly with the project manager Chris throughout the process. Chris was responsive and very easy to interact with as we worked through the project. Given the extensive wood rot, we budgeted for change orders to cover any unanticipated repairs found after opening things up, but this ended up not being necessary. Any issue or request was always just met with "no problem, we'll take care of it". We ended up being able to afford extending the scope of the project to include repairing/painting our wood fence surrounding the property and burying draining lines for our rain gutters that extended over planter boxes before. I would recommend NewHaus without reservations and will be contacting them for any work we need going forward.

  Chris and his crew were fantastic. Our HOA hired them for a large sale project-- revamping the entire exterior of a three building community. Not only does the finished product look great, but they stuck to the budget and timeline perfectly. All the workers were very kind, trustworthy, and conscientious. We have worked with several contractors, and it has been a nightmare in one way or another. Newhous is now our go-to.

  Newhaus was excellent! Chris was very knowledgable and was even able to squeeze in some small extras we needed repaired. We also mentioned we were getting multiple quotes and he found out another company who was trying to get our business actually had a suspended license. He saved us alot of time, money and a potentially disasterous choice. Thank you so much Chris & Newhaus, we love our new roof!
