  Ikon did a roof inspection for me a couple years ago which said my roof was in generally good condition and had a lot of life left. One week after closing the purchase there was a major leak and they agreed to do the repair and then proceeded to make excuses for 6 months. Then said they were going out of biz. Not to be trusted.

During the inspection, we noted that the overall condition of the roof tiles was fair. We specifically mentioned that there were cracked or broken tiles and signs of previous leaks. You mentioned at the time that those prior issues had been repaired. As with any roof inspection, it's important to understand that leaks can be difficult to detect unless they're actively occurring, and no inspection can guarantee future performance—especially in older roofing systems. Regarding the delay in repairs, it’s true that we were experiencing a labor shortage and navigating a challenging transition within the business at the time. However, we never stated that we were going out of business. We were transparent with you about the difficulties we were facing, and we even attempted to assist with your home warranty company. You even called us to inspect multiple other properties and we gladly did. We take great pride in the work we do and deeply care about every homeowner we work with. We made multiple attempts to follow up, but our efforts to connect were met with repeated unavailability on your end. As a small business, our reputation is everything, and we work incredibly hard to maintain the level of service reflected in the many positive reviews from our clients. We treat every home and home owner with the same care, respect, and integrity. We understand your frustration, but we respectfully believe this review doesn't reflect the full scope of our intentions or efforts. Nonetheless, we wish you the best and remain committed to doing right by all of our clients.

  Great experience with Mike and the Ikon team. Excellent communication via text and email throughout the whole process. The project was a residential home with a very steep pitch. The guys worked fast and it only took about 5 days from tear off to final inspection. Every day was cleaned up around the home's perimeter and in our garage. That was appreciated since we have a dog and young kid. There were some little things that went above and beyond. For example our A/C condenser line was cracked and in rough shape. Mike noticed and applied new insulation around it while he was up there even though it was beyond the scope of roofing work. Very happy with the final result. Thoroughly recommended!

  Mike from Ikon roofing was a pleasure to work with. Came when they said they would, explained the scope of work thoroughly, and got the job done efficiently. You will not meet a contractor in Los Angeles as responsive as Mike. He did everything he said he would while communicating really well with my wife and I. Thank you Team Ikon roofing! Update: ikon roofing has been excellent to work with. We bought another property with a bad roof, he came quickly to inspect and gave us a very reasonable price for a replacement. Very easy to work with and super honest

  We recently had our roof replaced by Mike and his team from Ikon Roofing. They did a fantastic job, arrived when expected, were all very courteous, professional, hard working and did an expert clean up at the end of each and every workday. Mike always promptly addressed any concerns we had before and during the installation process. The work was perfectly executed and even finished slightly ahead of schedule.   So a little history... I have a flat roof (!)on a 60 year old house in a high wind/fire area in the San Fernando Valley. During the last hurricane force winds we had a month or so ago my flat roof literally lifted and split into pieces down to the wood. IKON ROOFING was recommened by a family member who found them to work on a roofing issue in their recently purchased home in Burbank. They couldnt speak higher of Mike (the owner). I still got multiple estimates, as you should, and IKON was very competitive. Mike responds to all email/phone calls personally almost instantly. (how refreshing). I went with IKON and I am sure glad I did. They had the a diffcult flat roof done in 3 DAYS! Flat roofs are a torch job installation and if you do your research they are very difficult. He also did some framing so the spanish tiles would resist the heavy winds up here. I had one adjustment from the original bid but it was only $420. Very fair. The crew was very professional and cleaned up every day. Of course we passed City inspection(s) with not even an issue. It is so hard to find trustworthy and honest contractors these days but when you do ...what a blessing. Thanks Mike and the crew at IKON ROOFING. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

  Ikon Roofing came highly recommended by a good friend, and we are so grateful that lead us to Michael and his team. Our project had several unexpected challenges (including finding a way to source out of manufacture shingles, dealing with the surprise of incomplete solar mounting removal, and twice adjusting the roof type at our request), but Michael's resourcefulness, tenacity, and professionalism made it a smooth process for us. Finding someone you can trust to care for your roof is difficult and daunting. Do yourself a favor and call Ikon.

  Great experience with Michael and his team replacing our roof. It wasn't an easy project because we're in Hollywood Hills West, but they made it work with minimal disruption to me or my neighbors, cleaned up after themselves with great care, and were communicative and efficient - and the new roof looks great.

  Highly recommend, Ikon. Mike, the owner, is a great contractor. I appreciate when that he was there for the job start to finish. He also fixed a mote than 3 year problem on a part of my roof that also housed the Hvac. I finally had no leaks …

  I couldn’t be happier with my new roof! Working with Ikon was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. They were incredibly communicative, answered all of my questions, and even dropped off a variety of samples to help me choose the perfect color. They also provided addresses of other homes so I could see how the different options looked in real life, which was so helpful. The team finished the job ahead of schedule and did a fantastic job cleaning up afterward — you’d never even know they had been there. Their professionalism and attention to detail truly stood out. I only wish Ikon did more than just roofing, because I would gladly hire them for all of my contracting needs! Highly recommend.
