  Thank you for the review and the feedback! I greatly appreciate the opportunity to have been able to install the roof and fix the chimney. Long story short my bid was accepted to replace the roof on Monday but I plan the work week out and confirm all our roof installs by Saturday before the coming week starts. I was asked to squeeze this job in the same week, which I thought I could do! I spoke to the confirmed home owner the situation and they were all for moving their job for the following week. I could have hired another crew but I try to always have my family do all of our own jobs, it keeps the quality of our installs consistent. The weather kept on changing on a daily basis so I had scheduled this job for Thursday but our Wednesday job took longer than usual so I had to push this job back a day to Friday now and there was also rain forecasted for half the day on Friday, set back after setbacks lol I was told by the Realtor that they needed to get the job done 3 days prior to closing, and their closing date was the following Wednesday, so in my mind I thought well I could get it done by Saturday and still meet the deadline. We ended up starting the job on Friday after the rain had passed and finished on Saturday. Mrs.Miller is right, I did run behind multiple times. Our first appointment was scheduled for Tuesday morning to confirm a color but I had misplaced a color sample that I thought would look good on their home so I ran to the supply house that same morning to get the sample. The previous roof was a standard 30 year laminate but I ended up upgrading the roof to a Class 3 impact resistant hail shingle as a small token of appreciation for allowing me to install the roof. Appointment was set for 8:00am and I got there at 8:12am. When we finished the job on Saturday I went by the property on Sunday to confirm everything had been finished and completely missed the small pack of trash one of my guys left on the backyard.   Terrible service, unprofessional, made an unnecessarily wide cutout instead of a more precise for my vent, which caused a huge leak in my kitchen a few months later. Check out the image attached to see what he did. He also never came back to check on it and refuses to respond to contact.

  Thank you for your review! To clarify, we were contacted to come out and install this exhaust vent back in December 2nd, 2023 The purpose of the vent show in the image was to improve the air quality of the kitchen when operating the stove, in short, the exhaust vent is connected to the kitchen hood. The roof vent provided to us by the home owner is 6”. We installed the vent with ice and water shield to prevent future leaks and the square cut that is shown in the review doesn't show that the vent has a 3 inch lip on the sides so the cut we made is an adequate cut leaving more than enough space to nail on to the deck. We installed the vent with a rigid coil which was provided to us by the home owner. The problem we ran into when installing the exhaust vent on the roof was that there had been a patio built less than 12" away from where the exhaust vent would land on the roof. We tried to move the vent as far as way possible from the patio but since we were provided with a rigid coil we didn’t have much play room, which explains the straps and taping of the transitions of the coil to the exhaust vent. I don’t think we are an unprofessional company. I was personally out there with one of my workers to do this repair and upon entering the attic we noticed that none of his restroom vents were connected to vent to the outside, which we fixed. I also noticed a leaking flue vent, which I documented and brought up to the home owner’s attention. If the home owner’s leak was caused by our installation process then I will take responsibility of our work, but this home owner’s roof had also been replaced last year by another roofing company. I just did the vent installation. I still haven’t put eyes on the leak so can’t verify if our work actually caused the leak.   Mr.Ngo is 100% right We’ve been getting pulled thin this last quarter of the year so I’ve been having a difficult time balancing my time with the guys on the labor side and on the office side. The property that was supposed to be inspected is a commercial property that needed some “TLC”, from what Mr.Ngo mentioned to us on Instagram. As many contractors know it’s a big liability if someone inexperienced gets on a commercial roof, so I didn’t want to put my PM’s in that position by sending them out there without being properly trained to walk on commercial roofs. At the end of the day things need to get done so no excuses. We greatly apologize to Mr.Ngo and hope he finds the right TLC from the right contractor.

  Had a wonderful experience with Morales Roofers & would recommend them to anyone. I just got my first home with my fiancé, so Rafa & his team going above & beyond was truly a blessing. You can tell they care about their work & we plan on hiring them again for a back patio extension soon as well as the foreseeable roof replacement we’ll need in a few years!

  The roofing industry in Texas doesn’t always have the best reputation, and many Texans know from experience that choosing the right roofing contractor can be frustrating and costly. My wife and I needed a new roof on our 50 year old home, and we had to pay out of pocket for the work. Some contractors didn’t even want to bid on the job if there was no insurance company to gouge for profits, while others didn’t want to touch the additional carpentry work needed for an old flat roof section at the back of the house. In all, I reached out to about a dozen contractors and only half of those resulted in useable bids. Ultimately, at the urging of a family friend, I chose Morales Roofers for the job, and could not be happier with the results. Raphael served as the point man for the estimate and communications throughout the job, and he was always prompt and responsive. Our situation needed some additional care and work involving fascia board replacements, adding soffit vents and new roof ventilation, along with some general carpentry, and Morales Roofers proved to be adaptable to the task and fair with the pricing. The result was a highly polished and professional job that turned our old eyesore of a roof into the envy of the neighborhood. Our new roof and fascia boards simply looks fantastic.   My house is in a windy area, and I always heard flapping sounds at night during storms. They identified that certain edges of the roofing were not properly locked into the frame. Instead of just tightening them, they reinforced the entire edge structure to prevent future movement.
