  I cannot NOT recommend this company enough. I did a walkthrough with the owner when he gave me an estimate. He is a salesman and will try to sell you on anything - but he is not good at operating his business. His office is not organized. He does not communicate with his subs. His company does not provide a breakdown between materials and labor for the cost, which should have been a red flag up front. Modern Renovations called me multiple times to collect on billing for projects they did not complete. I had to send them pictures to prove to them they did not complete the items they were trying to bill me for. I ended up feeling bad for their receptionist after complaining to her so many times, knowing that she was not getting any communication, from her own company, either. I finally had the work done on my house that I had initially needed, and that experience was absolutely the polar opposite from the experience I had with Modern Renovations. The contractor communicated with me throughout the process, did not try to bill me for work that was not completed, let me know when his workers would be at the house, and followed up with me to make sure I was OK with everything. I was starting to think that was too much to expect. It's a 0/10, 100% do not recommend, and I have all of the pictures, email chains, and text messages if Modern Renovations cares to respond.

  Modern Renovations has been out four times to fix a leak in the roof they put on less than a year ago. Each time, they have said it is an 'easy fix' and then the next big storm I have a leak from the exact same spot. They've tarped the area in between each time and this process has been prolonged. Now they are saying that it is an issue with our sky light that did not leak with our old roof. I am incredibly concerned of the longevity of our roof. Yes they have been polite as everyone else says in the reviews, but quality should matter. We are in the middle of our first snow storm of the winter and I am incredibly concerned with how many leaks we'll have to deal with until they can right the matter.

  We needed a couple of specific changes with our vent pipes, and Larry personally took care of everything to make sure it was done exactly the way we wanted. He truly went above and beyond! The crew was professional, fast, and did an amazing job. They also did a fantastic cleanup— we haven’t found a single nail in the yard after they left! We couldn’t be happier with our new roof and the entire experience. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  I had to replace shingle roof so I secured three estimates. Modern Renovations provided the best estimate with quality materials. A date was set for the actual work. The crew of roughly eight guys showed up at 7:15 (I think it was eight, they moved so fast I couldn’t get a good count) they had the old shingles off by 9:30 and the new roof on by 3:00, cleaned the grounds spotless and out the driveway by 3:15. It started to rain 30 minutes later!!

  A roof leak is never a fun thing. I looked on Angi to find recommended roofers and reached out to 3. Modern Renovations came out in top from a materials, price and very importantly, customer service. Communication was quick and easy. Larry came out for the estimate, giving a very detailed breakdown of what he saw on the roof. He also spent time going over the materials to be used, warranties and how the process would work. Amanda in the office was super helpful explaining and getting things scheduled. The crew worked quickly and did a fantastic job arriving on time and completing the job and cleaning up that day. Super happy with the result. It's nice to know that the next storm I won't have to worry about water stains appearing in the ceiling, or seeing shingles scattered across the lawn. Thanks

  Great Company! Very fast and Reliable! I got new windows installed as well as a sliding door and they were quick and very professional. They did great trim work on the exterior and where very personable. Recommend 5 Star!

  We had all of our windows replaced and some gutters installed. The team did an outstanding job with demo, installation, and cleanup, and we've had zero issues post-installation. The administrative staff communicated frequently and clearly. Best of all, we felt the pricing was extremely reasonable/competitive for the services and products.

  I hired Modern Renovations to replace the siding and guttering on my home and they did an excellent job. If you’re looking for a company for home improvements, this is the place to go. Larry took his time explaining the various types of siding and the quality of each and made some great recommendations. I had gotten two other quotes for this work, but I had to sit through two hour presentations before they would even begin to talk numbers and then it was so high pressure to sign right then. Based on those experiences, I wasn’t looking forward to getting the 3rd quote from Modern Renovations. When Larry came to my home, it was a completely different experience. No high pressure and I could tell that Larry knew what he was talking about. It felt like I had known Larry for years. I knew from the moment he left that regardless of price comparisons, Modern Renovations was getting my business. The process from start to finish went exceptionally smooth and I love my new siding! Shout out to Amanda for keeping everything on schedule and for excellent communication. I knew what was happening and when it was happening every step of the way. This small, veteran owned business will be getting all of my home renovation projects going forward! Thanks Larry and Team for doing such a great job!

Reading stuff like this means a lot to me because this company is something Amanda and I have poured a huge part of our lives into. We’re not some giant corporation with sales scripts and high-pressure tactics. We’re just local people trying to do good work, treat people fairly, and build something we can be proud of. I know exactly the kind of presentations and pressure you’re talking about, and I’ve never wanted Modern Renovations to operate that way.   I had a contractor back out last minute on replacing a front door package for me. Larry and his team stepped right in and within two days of calling, a team was on site and ready to finish the install. Gabriel and his team were great, worked quickly and did a fantastic job. I will be giving Modern Renovations a call for all future home projects. Thanks Larry and team!

  Larry and his team were very responsive to every question I had. I shopped around and got 5 estimates, modern roofing was the best by over 2 thousand dollars. I had to pay out of pocket because my deductible was high.i am a retired veteran so it made a big difference. The crew was great did the job in about 4 hours. I strongly recommend this company.

  Not sure where all the five star reviews are coming from, but we definitely did not have a five star experience with Modern concerning our roof replacement/installation. We did extensive research and got a handful of quotes from other companies. We chose Modern because they are the only ones in the area who install Owens Corning, and they seemed to be very competent. However, for a company who “take(s) great pride in our attention to detail,” we feel like we did not get that service. Window screens were ripped, the roof itself had things that needed to be fixed immediately after, there were over 100 nails and other debris in our yard and even left on our roof. I understand to a degree that some of that is to be expected, but this seemed in excess and we had to reach out to them in regards to these issues and others, instead of them being proactive and owning their mistakes. They did come back and correct most of the issues, after a couple of times following up. We would not recommend Modern to others, as we were definitely disappointed in them. Pros: Owens Corning shingles. Price of the project was very reasonable. They also installed in our timeframe and immediately after the arrival of the shingles.

That was never our intention, and we are sorry that the experience did not meet your expectations or the standard we aim to provide every customer. We understand your frustrations, and while there may be some differences in how certain details are viewed, what matters most to us is how the experience felt to you—and we take responsibility for where we could have done better. This was a full roof replacement involving a complete tear-off and removal of a large volume of material, including tens of thousands of nails. It is a very labor-intensive process, and our crew did take extensive steps to ensure cleanup was handled thoroughly, including the use of magnets, rakes, blowers, and additional manpower. We also worked to make the project as straightforward as possible, starting with a minimal deposit and scheduling the installation promptly based on your timeline once materials arrived. After the project was completed, when you reached out with concerns, we responded immediately. I personally came out within about a day of your call, and we addressed everything on site. The items noted were very minimal in nature, and all corrections were completed within roughly an hour. Once finished, everything was resolved and confirmed to your satisfaction at that time. That said, I do want to personally acknowledge that I should have done a better job coming out and proactively inspecting the project immediately after completion, rather than waiting for you to contact us. That’s on me, and it’s something I will learn from and improve moving forward. You should not have had to take that step, and I understand why that was frustrating.   Larry came out to inspect my roof and provide an estimate. He was extremely helpful, courteous, honest, fair, and full of integrity. The quality of services he provided were something you don't get much of these days with other companies. Highly recommended!
