ML Contracting /Roofing

The only one or two-star review we hold for ML Contracting /Roofing.

Hired this contractor to replace a roof on a house and barn... The work was shoddy - they reused materials, allowed the roof to leak during the project, did not file for a permit and left the house in worse shape than when they started. Stay away from these contractors! Update - I see the contractor is claiming he has thousands of satisfied customers and that I am his only negative review because, in his opinion, I am difficult. My response is that he should not be disrespectful to me but to look at the photographs I have posted and then he can tell his customers that he is proud of what he did on my roof.

Mike met all of his deliverables with flying colors. He started the roof according to schedule, protected my plants and left the property clean and as he found it. He also came in on his quote.

ML Contracting just did an amazing job installing a new roof on my home. Michael is knowledgeable and reasonable. His crew were clean and the job was done in less than a week. Great quality. I highly recommend this company for any of your home contracting needs.

I met Mike about 6 months ago as we were in need of exterior work on our home. Mike was quick to give us a fair and honest estimate for roofing and siding. We are pleased with his work.

Mike is a good communicator and hard worker. When I searched through google to find local contractors in early September, I accidentally discovered ML Contracting, which has received many positive reviews. I called and left a message, Mike, the owner of the company, returned my call the same day and promised to come and looked at my projects. He came after a couple of days and we discussed what repairs need be done. He was friendly, polite, professional, and funny. After our discussion, I sent him the job list. Within a week, he wrote up a job proposal and we further discussed the little details through texting. He was always very responsive, even during evening hours. As soon as we finalized the job proposal/contract, things moved fast. Mike was very patient with me. I needed to order the doors from Home Depot. He offered to take me there to buy the doors, but after knowing that I preferred to order online, he kindly explained to me what doors (i.e., size, left-handed or right handed, in-swing or out-swing) need to be purchased. This might be very basic door knowledge for many people, but Mike's patience and understanding alleviated much of my stress and anxiety. After the jobs get started, I can see that Mike is a real hard worker and is meticulous about small details. He made sure that everything worked well and looked beautiful. He did most of the work himself. When he needed help, he had some of his crew come help him. They were also very friendly and pleasant to work with. In order to catch the sunny weather, Mike even worked on some Saturdays. Thanks to his diligence and hard work, all the jobs were completed within three weeks, just before the temperature dropped and the winter season started. Mike always cleaned up after work. My yard and garage looked clean after he completed all the jobs. Mike is also a good listener. He listened to my concerns and tried to come up with solutions to solve problems. He even gave me some good suggestions about how to repa

I gave Mike 5 stars, if I could’ve i would’ve given him 10. I needed someone to fix my front porch roof due to some leak and needed gutter installation. I’m so glad I found him. He and his crew really gave it a nice new look. Amazing work …

Mike did such a beautiful job fixing up so many things!! His work is professional and meticulous. He replaced our roof and all our windows. He redid our porch and fixed all the siding, trim, etc. He made it look brand new, but preserved its original beauty. He came up with creative solutions to any bumps in the road. He kept to his timeline. His prices were fair. We never felt like he tried to take advantage of us, even when there was more work than originally expected, which is no small thing. The complicated work he did himself. He takes pride in his work and he clearly cares how it turns out and holds himself to a high standard. His attention to detail shows in the end results. He was incredibly considerate and went above and beyond—without being asked, he made sure to turn off all the lights after our other workers left the house each day. I would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat! It was a pleasure working with him!

Terrific job replacing our roof. Friendly team, great communication & fast work. I especially appreciated how carefully they cleaned up the job site late in the evening despite the fact they were coming back the next morning to continue the work.
