Let me start off with our roof & gutters looks great! Brain was great at communicating and very informative with quick replies with any questions we had. This is our first home and first roof insurance claim. He also saw more issue than our USAA adjuster should have seen. Brian and his crew was very quick and efficient and I love that he has a 7 year warranty. That beats most roofing companies around. After calling for a few quotes Brian was detailed in his quotes and took more time to access any damages we had than all the other companies. I would 100% recommend his business. Thank you again MHK Roofing!

Brian with MHK Roofing LLC came out after we noticed a leak in our roof during a thunderstorm. He was able to see us the next day and patched around a roof vent that wasn’t sealed. Thanks for the prompt and excellent service! They’ll be our first choice for any future repairs needed.

Roof Flashing Repair Around Roof Penetrations Small roof penetrations can become major leak points when the flashing around them starts to loosen, corrode, or separate from the shingles. A roof repair in this area should address more than the visible metal. The surrounding shingles, fasteners, sealant, and the way the flashing overlaps the roofing system all need to be checked so water can shed correctly. Penetrations for vents and pipes interrupt the normal flow of shingles, which is why proper flashing placement is critical for keeping moisture from reaching the roof deck below and causing hidden damage. This roof shows an asphalt shingle surface with galvanized metal flashing installed around a large vent penetration. The metal base extends beneath and over adjacent shingles to help direct water away from the opening, while the raised collar seals around the vertical pipe. Areas like this deserve close attention because exposed fasteners, aging sealant, lifted shingle edges, or gaps at the flashing can allow water to work underneath the roofing. When we evaluate these details, we look at how the components fit together rather than relying on surface sealant alone. If you are seeing water stains, loose flashing, or signs of wear around a roof vent, contact us to have the area inspected and determine the right repair approach.2 days agoCall now
