  Hey Amanda! Unfortunately, upon looking into this file you don’t appear to be in our client database at all. We would love to hear more about this situation or the work preformed as there seems to be some miscommunication regarding this issue. Although we do very much appreciate when clients leave us a review based on the service they received or worked preformed, and we will 100% ask or request a service review when applicable, we do not offer “benefits” in exchange for these reviews. Additionally, if someone is not a client, we highly discourage leaving a review in general (good or bad) as that does not give a genuine show of how we’ve done as a company. We do however run some seasonal promotions that give “benefits” for different groups including but not limited to: return clients, emergency response workers, elderly clients etc.. maybe we could be mixing these two things up with this review that was left? At the end of the day we try to serve our local communities as best as possible and it seems this may have been left in error, and if so, we humbly and respectfully request it be removed.   Owner is wildly unprofessional and rude out of the 4 quotes I got to replace my garage roof they were the most expensive. Don’t waste your time with these people

  Hey Brenden! The owner has not contacted you and you haven’t talked to anybody in the office at all. All you have to do is let us know. Talk to us instead of complaining online. If you told us even once that you did not want to get a courtesy call, then we would not have called If you have an open proposal, we do a courtesy call to check in to see if we can answer any questions. We also touch base in the springtime to see if you wanted us to do a free inspection for any damage that may have occurred with the heavy ice stamps this winter. we also have an automated call/text to see if you would like to schedule your spring time gutter cleaning. But long story short, all you had to do is let us know that you did not want any follow up calls at all. Very simple. The way we learned that you did not appreciate the follow up was by this negative review. So we called once to try to figure it out and you’re very rudely hung up the phone and then got back onto Google and added more to this negative review as opposed to just talking to us directly. You can leave the review up because it actually makes us look like the operation that we try to be, very attentive, respectful, professional, and we don’t leave people waiting in the wind. We get all estimates done within 48 hours and we have great Customer Care before, during, and after the jobs.

  Worst experience I’ve ever had with a contractor. $1700 for a repair that took a couple of hours. It leaked just as much after the “repair”. I called to get them to come back out and they would not talk to me until I threatened poor reviews …

  If you can communicate like a decent human then we would be happy to help. Calling up and not telling us what the issue is or where it’s coming from but instead yelling , Screaming , swearing and just throwing insults with no information as to what the problem may be is not a way to handle a repair. We checked the work and without knowing what the issue is, there’s not more we can do until you can relax and tell us what you saw.

  They sealed the gutter to your fascia because you had a roof issue that caused water to go behind the gutter. There is nothing that was done to our gutter system. The roof issue was fixed to stop the leak. Please be accurate if you want to post a negative review

  Stay away!!!! These guys are crooks and liars. I paid a $7,500 deposit and they never gave my money back. Newburyport rejected their permit because they are not allowed to do business here. They filed under another name (Billco Roofing, LLC), they forged my name, didn't follow state T&C guidelines. I notified both companies within 72 hours to cancel to get my deposit back. I sent cancellation letters to a couple of their address. I called owner John Wolf and notified him by phone within 72 hours. He refused my cancellation. Merrimack Roof is not a legal business registered with the state. They delivered the material anyways. I found the $5,766.41 invoice with the materials and notified him they owed me $1,733.59 and would keep the material, because I was told by the city they NEVER return money. They agreed, but its been months and they will not return my money.

  I don’t believe this had anything to do with us. I would like to know more. You chose a roof over instead of a full remove and replace. And you had a satellite dish that was not removed from a far outside corner of the roof, which was not part of the contract. When it was removed, something with a nail under a shingle somehow caused a leak and you paid another company to replace the entire roof because of this one nail? I would like to have more clarification if you wouldn’t mind calling us

  They were caught trying to roof over old roof. After charging for tear off and new. Then they used old boots and flashing when charging for new. When leaked one month later they were rude and very uncooperative. Left a huge mess in yard. Would never hire again.

  The crew and work from Merrimack Valley roofing was outstanding from beginning to end. I got a response within an hour of my initial outreach. They were here to inspect the work within a day and came to do the work the same week I confirmed the estimate which I received while they were here initially on site. Highly recommend recommended for large and small jobs.

  Dan conducted the original inspection and estimate. Josh and his crew installed the hip and ridge cap replacement as well as sealed the pipe flange boot. Minor shingle repair. I found both Dan and Josh to be professional, polite, and forthcoming. Friendly and easy to work with, they made themselves accessible to my questions prior to the work being conducted, worked with me when it came to scheduling, and accomplished the job is a timely and efficient manner. There were no 'surprises' discovered during the work; in fact, they informed me one of the shingles originally thought to need replacing actually did not need to be replaced, resulting in a savings on the original estimate. Their honesty is much appreciated! Yes, I would definitely recommend Merrimack Valley Roofing for your roofing needs! Thank you Dan and Josh!

  While we were on a trip to deal with the death of an immediate family member, several large snowfalls caused a very serious roof leak (in Newburyport, MA). We were desperate to stop the leak by getting the snow removed from the roof. We called Merrimack Valley Roofing and were so pleased. Everyone was sympathetic and incredibly responsive. By the next afternoon, they removed two feet of snow. The price was very reasonable, but it was the professionalism, friendliness, and quick response that was wonderful. Highly recommended!

  We had a weathervane installed on the cupola of our carriage house. Dan and his crew were so wonderful! The weathervane was a bit challenging, but the crew were determined to get the job done right. I truly appreciate this, and I highly recommend them!
