  I had lane roofing replace my roof a few years ago, nice job until it wasn’t, ice dams caused water to drip thru the soffit, with water running down the siding. This past winter I had a small leak inside. For two years I tried to get them to repair it and finally after a few words Josh sent a person out. I showed him where the area was and he said a bead of silicone under the shingles and nailing thru thu the shingles would fix it, I questioned the procedure and was told “I’ve been doing this for 18 years” It didn’t work. I called Josh lane about the procedure and advised him I contacted th manufacture and was told my warranty was void because of improper nailing, I also mentioned that a home inspector would not approve it, Josh said I’m really good friends with the sales rep and also the building inspector. So I hired another roofing contractor to make the repairs, long story short the ice and water shield in front of the dormer was never installed. I took photos of the area, sent them to Josh lane and he accused the contractor of removing the ice and water shield, even with me there. Lane roofing had cut the old ice and water shield along the bottom of the dormer and the new should have been put under the siding. The way the flashing was installed was a joke. Josh got very defensive and refused to listen to me, always interrupting. Btw several times I said I would pay for the repair

  We appreciate they were able to help us on short notice. They said would be here mid morning, arrived around 3pm. This isn't a big deal but no calls to let us know they were delayed. The crew did remove the ice dams. However, in the process, they dug into a waterfall and other garden items (looks like they almost fell into my pond!) While trying to move snow in areas they didnt need to. While digging, they unknowingly unplugged the heater for my fish pond, and knocked over a flowerpot on the wall around the pond. Never once asked if there was anything under the snow they should be careful of. Thank God my pond pump didn't freeze overnight! Would not recommend.

  i paid for a new roof and less than 8 months later a section of plywood collapsed and started linking, so he came out and patched my roof, then it started leaking a 2nd time, so he had to came out a 2nd time . So, I spent all that money for a patched roof.

  Review for Lane Roofing – Our Experience We hired Lane Roofing to replace the roof on our home in January 2024. What started with high hopes quickly turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience that we feel compelled to share. We had three layers of roofing (including a metal roof installed by previous owners) and two chimneys—one of which was no longer in use. Lane Roofing offered to remove the unused chimney and assured us that the multiple layers and prior damage wouldn’t be a problem. We pointed out active leaks, and they promised these issues would be resolved with the new roof. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Installation & Cleanup Issues The roof was installed in the middle of winter with snow on the ground. After the work was completed, we were left with nails, old shingles, and roofing debris all around our property. They assured us they’d return in the spring to clean it up. When they finally did, the “cleanup” consisted of a worker using a leaf blower to blow debris off our deck—only to scatter it all over our yard. We have a 3-year-old child who plays outside, so we ended up collecting over 200 nails and hundreds of roofing fragments ourselves to keep our property safe. Ongoing Leaks & Poor Follow-Up After the first fall snowstorm, the roof began leaking again—this time in our mudroom. Lane Roofing blamed the unused chimney and told us to install a cap and seal the edges. We did. It leaked again. When they came to inspect it, one of their workers (caught on our Ring camera) mocked the chimney cap we installed and wrapped the chimney in a trash bag. Unsurprisingly, that didn’t work either. Eventually, they suggested the issue was due to poor airflow caused by insulation, and promised a follow-up plan. However, when I called back to confirm, the owner Josh Lane berated me over the phone—claiming we were ungrateful and costing him money. He said they would no longer assist us and shifted all blame to the insulation, recommending we h

  Lane replaced the roof on my house a few years ago and did a great job. Therefore last year my contractor hired them again to replace the roof at my business. This spring during the first bad rain storm, the roof was leaking and water was pouring through a light fixture. My contractor called Lane and they told us to "monitor". About a month ago during another bad storm it leaked again, so my contractor called them again and asked if they would fix the issue. About a week later they came to my business, and told the manager they would take a look and let her know what they found. Except right after that they left without speaking to her and we had no idea what they found and if they fixed anything. My contractor has reached out to them multiple times in the last several weeks trying to find out what they did, and they won't return his calls. My contractor ended up fixing the issue themselves today since Lane has refused to address their own mistakes. Neither I or my contractor will ever be using them again, and I will be reporting them to the state for refusing to stand behind their work.

  I can't express how impress I was with Lane Roofing! Alan who was their project manager and team was some of the most hard working people I've seen. They were also very courteous about what time they were working until when I felt bad because how hot it was for them! They were extremely nice, EXTREMELY hard workers. They worked from 7 in the morning until they finish and Al still called to say how they will continue back the next day to help clean up. I am so impressed and thankful for them! Josh was also amazing answering any question we had and also walked us through what the best shingle color. I absolutely would recommend them to anybody who needs any roof anything!

  We had our roof done By Lane roofing 7-28-26 by one of his many crews. I am a retired contractor and have a good idea what to look for in a well run business, reputably organization. Lane roofing met every criteria i look for, prompt, courteous, respectful, professional no games or misleading promises of anything that Josh said they were going to do. His site foreman Eric was very friendly, listened to the few requirements i asked for, met them all, and got work done in a very thorough, no fuss, or messy process, all in one day.   We used LANE ROOFING to completely replace all the shingles on our roof. The company owner, Josh Lane and Troy, his Project Manager, provided guidance and suggestions to make me feel comfortable engaging with them on this major (for me) Project. They set the schedule and followed their plan. This resulted in a first class workmanship roofing project. They accomplished all this while finishing the project, including a spotless clean yard, long before the unexpected rain arrived. Good Job! Thank you

  3 weeks ago we had Lane replace our entire roof including new plywood decking. We definitely would recommend them. Josh explained everything and was always available for any questions. Our project manager Troy was great. He came back throughout the day checking on the work and kept us updated on everything. The workers worked very hard!!! Everything was organized. Cleanup was amazing. You would never know that they had just done our roof. And my husband LOVES his lawn and was very happy with the cleanup. And roof looks great too. So very happy with Lane roofing. Sorry if this is a duplicate review, I am not good with technology and trying to figure how to get this review through 😊
