It's great advertisement when people cut you off on an icy day in their company vehicle. Responding to the reply: This occured at 7:55am at the Olympic & N 42nd St. intersection, on Tuesday January 13th. I saw no vehicle number. I had my lights on, I was going the speed limit, and there was high visibility (no fog).

I'm sorry this happened. We take safety very serious. Can you tell me where it happened and around what time? Did you happen to get the truck #?

McKenzie Roofing previously did a good job replacing my main roof a number of years back, otherwise this would be 1 star. …

The driver's run red lights. This morning I had one turn left on a red light in front of me.

Drew happily lies to you on the phone saying the crew will put down plastic to catch debris before they start. Not only did they not lay catchment for debris, he insisted the crew would not remove the skylights until the replacements arrive in a few weeks. The crew took off the skylights almost immediately and without putting down the plastic Drew assured me would go down. Later, Drew says that both I should listen to him because "we do this all the time" AND that he can't be expected to give reliable info because he "doesn't know about the spcifics here." The holes where the skylights were have debris freely flowing in, along with literal freezing temperatures. Drew and the white crew leader onsite are the perfect team to help my slumlord continue to exploit people with their lies about when they will be doing what work on the place I live. They are lying to me for her, so she doesn'thave to properly manage her property while collecting full rent. We'll see how things go the rest of the week and if I'll ever get these holes in my roof and ceiling covered with anything that is to code.

This company was recommended to us so in April 2021 we signed a proposal with them. Every few months, I would take the initiative to check in with them to see how much longer we would need to wait. Steve Schucklebier repeatedly told us in “just a few months” or that we were “5th in line”. Really, he just strung us along for an ENTIRE year because it’s May 2022 and now we’ve found out that he took us off the waitlist. Even with our conversations in writing, he didn’t seem to remember the timeline of events and blew us off. He was unprofessional in his conversations with us, extremely slow to respond, and lacked the integrity to be honest with us. Possibly one of the most forgetful and disorganized contractors we’ve worked with in years. Do not use these guys. They aren’t trustworthy and are completely dishonest. While waiting for them as they pacified us with excuses, prices went up and we didn’t use one of their competitors. I can see why they drag people along. Updated: I did put my request for changes and approval in writing, multiple times. Again, this company isn’t honest and the owner could care less. We’ve already had a couple new bids on our roof and the contractors also confirmed that the quality of McKenzie Roofing has declined over the years.

Cindy, You are entitled to your opinion. You requested changes in January of 2022. These changes required a new proposal which was emailed to you on January 7th. We did not hear anything from you until May 20th and assumed you had made other arrangements. Every contractor is behind schedule at this point due to both the current labor shortage and the Covid pandemic. We work very hard for our customers and apologize for the misunderstanding.

Very professional. Real time updates regarding scheduling and ETA delays. The crew, Raven, Miguel, and Antonio....AMAZINGLY proficient, professionally friendly, personable. As renters, we didn't get a choice who fixed our gutters(that were and did falling off), but we are grateful the owner chose McKenzie Roofing. Hope he hires them to do the roof as well before winter. These gentlemen are awesome

Several years ago Mckenzie did a metal roof and gutters on my shop and it turned out great, so a few years later we had them do gutters on the house. Fast forward a few more years to this year and we had them replace some soffits and trim …

We had a guy from McKenzie Roofing come over to examine the work another Co. did that was absolutely terrible from start to finish. We were afraid the skylights would leak the next time it rained, it was that bad. McKenzie, who had given us one of the other bids, sent their Estimator to look the roof over inside and out. He was shocked at how bad every phase of the work was messed up. He gave us an excellent price to rip off the whole thing & do it over. McKenzie Roofing don't claim to be "Pros" the way these other clowns did, they just do great work, the right way, the first time for a great price. Then cleaned up the whole site gutters and all before they go. If you need roof work in Eugene/Springfield area save yourself time and money and call McKenzie Roofing. Check the CCB Complaints registery before you hire anyone else. If a three yr old co. has two complaints in a year, steer clear.

I had a very small gutter job I needed done in a custom gutter color. The original company that put them on didn't want to come do the job. So, ABC Buiding referred Mckenzie Roofing to me, he had some downtime and within 2 hours they came installed my new gutter at a very reasonable price and it looks Amazing. Fast, efficient and reasonably priced along with great customer service! Thats hard to find anymore. Thank you Mckenzie Roofing.

McKenzie roofing installed a metal roof a few years back. Ended up with a leak that was mainly related to the stove pipe installation near the time the roof was installed. The stove pipe installers didn’t step up and take any responsibility. Steve went above and beyond. They took it all apart, made sure that it was all sealed correctly and replaced the section of roofing. Not everything goes smoothly when there are multiple parties involved. I’d hire them again if I ever need a new roof.

Brian (estimator) came out to our house in early-January for a roof repair estimate. He said his team would need to pull up some shingles to find source of the drip we were experiencing and he would talk to his shop about when a team could come out to perform the work. After more than a month with no follow up, we moved forward with another roofing company.

McKinzie Roofing just completed a new metal roof on our home and we could not be more happy with the whole experience. The owner Steve came out and did the initial bid and was there throughout the process making sure everything was on track. Both tear off and install crews were amazing. Every single one of the workers were professional and they clearly took the time to make sure the finished product was top-notch. Steve was easily accessible throughout the entire process and even afterwards when I had a follow up question. During my 19 years working as a residential real estate broker, I’ve worked with many roofing companies in Eugene/Springfield in various capacities and must say that the level of service and quality of workmanship I experienced with McKinzie Roofing makes them my number one recommendation for clients going forward.
