  I used MAK a few years ago for my roof installation. They did a great job and had it done very quickly and it looks great. However, I would NEVER recommend them for windows. I recently had them replace all the windows in my house ($34K). They were unbelievably slow (installed no more than 2 windows per day max) and I had to watch their workmanship. The last 2 windows were installed and were not insulated - until I questioned it. They had to remove the molding and insulate them. Had I not seen this, they would have left them uninsulated! Took them almost 2 weeks to replace all of my windows (I only have 18 windows). They should have been able to install at least 4 per day. They took many breaks and left every day well before 4pm. One window came out and there was a rotten sill. I asked them if they were going to replace it - and they said - "if you want me to we can". They did replace it - only because I told them that I wanted it replaced. They would also take the old windows out first thing in the morning and then go on one of their many breaks throughout the day leaving a gaping hole in my house for hours! Not very good on 100+ degree days. Finally, after paying my invoice in full and on time - they came back and asked of another $1890 because they forgot to charge me for the black painted windows I ordered! If you need a roof, I could tell you MAK is acceptable. If you need new windows - RUN THE OTHER WAY!

The windows you selected were a special-order, triple-pane, upgraded product, top-of-the-line and significantly heavier than standard models, which made the installation more demanding. Furthermore, as these were new construction windows, the process was far more labor-intensive, requiring the removal of siding and trim, precise installation of the new units, and careful reassembly of all components. Our carpenters worked diligently in extreme heat, and while they understandably took breaks for their safety, they remained focused on doing the job properly. Marcin, our project manager, was actively monitoring the progress, ensuring that quality standards were maintained and corrections made promptly when necessary. He was proud of the craftsmanship delivered on your home. Regarding the black window upgrade, we confirmed the added cost with you prior to placing the order, and your response was enthusiastic approval. No changes were made without your knowledge or consent. Despite the complexity of the project, our team painted the exterior trim at no additional cost (a value of approximately $1,500), and our architect provided complimentary design drawings with multiple layout options for your future bathroom. These were offered as a gesture of goodwill and appreciation for your business. We genuinely regret that the experience did not meet your expectations and wish you felt differently. Nevertheless, we are proud of the effort and dedication our team brought to your project and stand by the quality of the work performed.   Would not use- MAK fixed a portion of our roof. I had to call multiple times after they cashed my initial check to get a date that the work would be done and was given a week timeframe. They didn’t come that week and when I called, I was told they would come out the following week. They provided a quote with certain materials but when the roof was completed, it appeared dirty and unfinished. After talking with my contact, Marcin, multiple times he said he would send his guys over. They told me the roof looked fine even though there was a yellow coating all over it. He then told me he would send out his supplier who I had to be home to talk to and who never showed up… Marcin then texted me to tell me “don’t try to outsmart me your bill is past due.” All while I was waiting for this issue to be resolved (which took weeks). He also threatened to charge me a past due fee. Meanwhile I had been waiting for a month for him to reply or send his supplier out to take a look at it. Turns out the product they used is cheap and should be used on roofs that aren’t visible because it looks unfinished. There should be a layer on top of what was used to make the roof look complete but I was not quoted for this (and didn’t know what I was quoted for would look so unfinished). I was given the phone number of his supplier who told me there should be an additional layer on top of what was put down to guarantee the roof will not leak. I finally just sent in the last check to the company so I could stop dealing with them. Overall, communication was extremely poor, I had to hound them to have the work done after they cashed my initial check, and the product they chose to use was not the right product and the roof looks unfinished. I would go with someone else if you’re looking to have work done.

  If your roof has a chimney or skylight or gutters, then DO NOT USE this roofing business. They will NOT seal any areas. Be prepared for water damage repairs soon as this business finishes working on your roof!

  Absolutely garbage roofing company to work with please save your money and use another private own roofing company because they don’t even use their contractors. Sisters trust each other’s word over customers words. No value at all.

  They sold me a new roof and a Attic fan. After the insulation of new roof. They installed Attic fan when they took out old one the guy ripped the wires from old fan leaving them exposed never telling what he had done. When I had the electrian come to hook up the fan he had told me I was very lucky my house did catch on fire. So I had to call these guys back to have it repositioned so my electrician could hook it up. With that being said, to he lead roofer tod my electrician he doesn't know what he is doing. I would never use these people again..

  MAK almost killed me yesterday. Around 7pm, I was hopping on 295N, just above McGuire AFB. As I was getting into the middle lane a MAK truck (plate ending in R34) swerved into my lane, just in front of/beside me. When I tried to see what was with the driver, he was too busy on his phone to even notice me. It's typically not good practice to attempt to kill potential customers.

  This review is long overdue. I’ve used MAK for work at both my residence and my rental property, and they were hands down two of the best experiences I’ve ever had with a contractor—and I’ve used plenty of contractors over the years. They were punctual, professional, honest, fair with their pricing, accurate, and most importantly, they did outstanding work. I could go into all the specifics, but I’d be writing forever. Since then, I’ve recommended MAK to my parents, siblings, and several friends, and every one of them has had the same positive experience. In fact, I recently recommended them to my next-door neighbor for a roof replacement. She was absolutely delighted with their work, and that’s actually what prompted me to finally write this review. MAK is one of those companies that’s incredibly easy to recommend because I know that recommendation will never come back to haunt me. That says a lot. I also recently got a quote from them for my gutters, which I’ll be replacing very soon. In short, MAK is a quality company in every sense of the word. If you’re in the market for any of the services they provide, do yourself a favor and give them a call. You won’t regret it.

  MAK did our roof back in 2021 and I recently during the winter and more recently this summer had minor leaks due to the snow and some storms and MAK was very responsive in coming out to remedy the situations. I highly recommend them not only for their work but their quick responsiveness to helping after the fact.

  We had, I'm requested an estimate from MAK for our roof replacement and new gutters and downspout installation. Paul from MAK came out, he was thorough professional and very easy to work with to develop a plan to fit our needs. The work crew was efficient, professional and very diligent that they did multiple rounds of cleanup to ensure minimal to no debris remained. We highly recommend MAK for home improvement projects.

  After receiving a few estimates on work needed on our front porch we decided to go with MAK. We ended up getting the whole porch replaced and were very pleased. It was very easy to deal with Marian and his office staff. They were efficient and did a beautiful job. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

  Our skylights in the bedroom had been leaking so I had some other companies come out for a 30 min estimate which was a 3 hour pressure sale for over $50k. They wanted to replace my whole roof. With that price I thought I would have to live with it. But the leak just kept getting worse so I did some research and gave MAK a call. It was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Slawek came out the next day for an estimate took some measurements and told me I only had to replace the roof where the skylights were. Absolutely no pressure at all he was in and out in like 15 minutes. I got an email with the proposal 2 days later and it's extremely reasonable and affordable, I signed it right away. They don't upsale or BS you. He does whatever you want. Very nice guy and respects you unlike the other companies that won't leave your house with their ridiculous estimate process. When his crew came out to do the work they noticed my chimney needed some work and they did it at material cost plus they also did extra that wasn't in the proposal for free. I'm very satisfied with the work the skylights and are beautiful. I will be definitely calling him back for future projects. The remodeling work I want done on house used to seem like a dream after dealing with other companies, but now they will be a reality with MAK. Thank you so much Slawek and crew.

  MAK installed our roof about 9 years ago. A bubble appeared. Called them on Friday and they come Monday morning repaired the issue. Great service. Very fast response.

  We recently had our roof replaced, a new gutter system installed and some vinyl siding repaired. Paul was the project manager who came to give us an estimate. Paul still writes his estimates by hand which my daughter found enlightening and trustworthy. Well we went with MAK and she could not have been more correct. From the first meeting, to the estimate discussion and then the job acceptance and finally the installation, everything could not have gone more smoothly. We had a time constraint and Easter weekend was fast approaching with us going out of town for a week. Paul didn't make us wait...He got everything in motion and organized our roof replacement and our siding repair for the same day and two days after he had a crew installing our beautiful new 6 inch Black gutters and we are the envy of the block! LOL in all seriousness, MAK is completely professional. They are thorough, neat, efficient and honest. You can trust them. They keep their word and schedule with no excuses. We are 100%happy with MAK from the top of the house to the basement!
