  I have used this company for three separate properties, and my overall experience has been mixed. First House (Roof Installation): The work went smoothly. The quality was good, I have zero complaints, and I felt they did a great job. Second House (Roof Installation): The overall roof replacement turned out alright, but the chimney came out crooked. Jonathan Hill claimed the roof pitch was uncommon and that they couldn't align it straight up as required. Third House (Roof & Gutter Installation): This was a very disappointing conclusion. The team left without finishing the job—leaving the gutter installation incomplete—and surprised me with a significantly higher final bill. They claimed they had to replace approximately 15 plywood sheets, which I strongly dispute. It felt like Jonathan Hill knew this was our last project together and simply stopped caring about quality and communication. He wanted to squeeze the last drop of money Beware of this company and monitor their work closely to make sure they do not cut corners or add unexpected charges.

  This business is the absolute worst kind of rip off artist. You know. when you go to a mechanic and they find all kinds of things wrong with your car that they want to fix and charge you big bucks. Yet none of it was actually a problem. This business is the same model, but with roofs. This company will make up problems, want to charge you 4 times the amount actually needed in repairs, and pressure you to agree to it. Do yourself a favor and go find an honest roofing company for your repair needs. I would give this company negative stars if it was allowed.

  I guess I had a one off experience with the company seeing that most reviews are 5 stars. I had two issues I needed looked at. After coming out the guy was pretty sure what the issues were, so we moved forward with the repairs. The repairs took about a day and everything seemed to go pretty smooth. The project manager here insisted I give them a 5 star review right after the repairs, which I thought was a little out of the way seeing that I did not even know if the problems were fixed. Well, it turns out that all of the roofing that was replaced did not solve the issues we originally asked about. (Did it solve any issues that we could not see, possibly, but not what we wanted fixed.) When I noticed this I immediately sent them photos of what was going on, same as the original visit. They replied back that they would look at the photos and talk to the team. A month or so went by and nothing, no text, no call, nothing. Finally I reached back out and it seems they had forgotten about me or communication got crossed. Within a few days someone shows up at my door holding a phone saying “here to check leak”, it was translated. This is fine however I could not discuss any details with him. Him and I guess his wife or lady friend proceeded to get on the roof and check for leaks. I did find it rather odd that she was wearing Crocks on the roof but whatever, not my business. Finally the project manager arrived and we discussed things a little bit. I was told that when they cannot find a leak, they just replace everything… really? But ok. Now after a while the two on the roof report back to no actual leaks and the water is coming from somewhere else. Sure enough, the water issue was the front was a simple siding channel water drainage issue, not on the roof at all. The water issue at the back was coming from a worn chimney cap, or so we think… still not sure about this one. They filled the cap with about 1” of caulk all the way around… a bit cheaper than shingles. The project

  I had a horrible experience with Live Oak. They seemed reputable and I had neighbors with decent experience. They replaced my roof but I had over a year of leaking afterward (that i caught early on and had them come out early on) that they had to keep coming back to fix flashing and water test for leaking into the attic, had to have a second opinion and proof of that before they took further action to tear up some shingles and rotten decking and chimney flashing in order to fix it finally. There is still leaking, similar to what was happening before that was “fixed” but they say it is the chimney itself and not their work… but we shall see if that is the case for this final continuing issue… my 2 year warranty is ending with them and i’m still not positive their poor work is the continued issue at this point so i have to find someone else to fix whatever issues are left. The only good side of Live Oak is them coming out and addressing the continued issues.

  Live Oak Exteriors helped us multiple times this summer with our roof and we are so thankful for their professionalism and service. We had our roof replaced by them in May and some repairs done a few months later. We are very happy with the results. Scott Rynning was a huge help during the process. Blayne Taylor and his crew repaired our roof this month and did an excellent job. We highly recommend Live Oak Exteriors for any roofing related projects.

  We are so grateful for Live Oak Exteriors for not only the full replacement of our roof but for the repair on the side of our house when we had some unrelated damage occur 3 months later. Scott Rynning provided inspections and explained the original roof replacement and later repair processes thoroughly. Blayne Taylor and his crew repaired our roof so well that we couldn’t even tell any damage had occurred. We were provided with updated images of the work.   They interacted with our insurance to get all the approvals needed. Once approved they were timely & efficient with installation & did a great post install cleanup job. Our new roof looks great & now has no wind or hail issues. Great group to work with - would highly recommend !!

  Love the way these guys took care of our chimney. They arrived early in the morning and were here all day until the job was done.
