  Never came out to do the bid after I spoke to them on the phone

  This cannot be a real review. Our company has been closed to new work since July 31, 2021 and just re opened today September 7, 2021. This is clearly stated on our office voice mail recorder, due to our company doing an out of state job for the last five weeks. Not to mention this last four day weekend was Labor Day. There is no real name associated with this bogus review, no dates and no reference to who they talked too. Since July 31, today September 7 is the first day we are open for business in Eau Claire and immediate surrounding areas. Reader beware, this is a bogus anonymous review.

  When asked to come check on a house they had roofed in the past with some current ice dam issues, the owner of this company did not seem interested. He immediately said there would be a charge followed by telling us there would be no warranty on it. We did not even ask about a warranty. We said that was fine. We just wanted the roof checked. Then told us he probably could not get on the roof anyway. The exchange bothered us so we told him later that we were going to just get another roofer to come out. His response... "Roofing is not hurting for business, not in the least. Yes I think it’s a good idea to call another roofer." I think we dodged a bullet. That is not someone who wants your business.

  Hi Diane - We understand that you bought a property that was previously roofed by Blue Hills Roofing (2008), not Lifetime Exteriors. We do everything in our power to help potential clients, even if they are not past customers. Before coming to provide service we simply wanted to explain what the ice build up was (ice dam) and that it wasn't covered under any warranty. As not to spring an unexpected charge on you. You contacted us Sunday February 21 at 8:02 pm. We responded immediately, even though it was a Sunday evening. We made an appointment to look at your roof, which you agreed too. The appointment was Monday February 22 at 1:00 pm...Sixteen hours after your initial contact. Due to the weather conditions (Winter Storm was in progress) I informed you that we may not be able to get on the roof, if conditions were slippery or if there was bad weather. The roof is very steep and multiple stories. We have to abide by OSHA statutes and also watch out for the safety of all of our employees. We did not refuse service to you. In fact you contacted me at 3:57 am that same Monday morning February 22, eight hours before we had arranged to be at your home. You notified me stating you had asked another Roofing Company to come look at your issue. I have the entire conversation saved on messenger. You stated we did not seem to want your business. However we only communicated via messenger. There was no spoken word between us. You simply imagined the scenario of us not wanting to come and look at your roof. Ice Damns build up on the roof and cause water to back up, consequently causing a leak into your home. The source of the problem comes from inside your home, not the roof. Ice Damns are caused by improper attic insulation allowing air from inside the home to heat up the attic. This in turn causes unnatural melting and freezing of snow and ice on your roof. I informed you of all this via our messenger conversation. I even informed you to contact Energy Star to get a

  Steven and the rest of the Lifetime Exteriors team are absolutely the best of the best. From the day we called all the way up to the final inspection; Steven was personable, honest, and extremely timely — they scheduled our roof replacement quickly and made us feel like a priority. The communication we received from start to finish was exceptional and made the process feel less overwhelming. Highly recommend Lifetime Exteriors for any service they provide — roofing especially!

  LifeTime Exteriors was extremely quick on a response to fix part of our fascia that had fallen away from the house. A few days later, they were out to fix it. Very easy to work with!! Would highly recommend for any other roofing repairs!

  We are VERY pleased with ALL aspects of our interaction with Lifetime Exteriors. Steve was timely, knowledgeable, considerate, and helpful. From quote to beautiful new roof and gutters in 2 weeks, taking up minimal amount of our time. He came to measure, then came back and met with us to explain options and timelines. Once we had made our decision to hire Lifetime Exteriors, we were quickly on the schedule. The old roof was torn off and the new roof completed in just one day! They used tarps everywhere to protect and catch the debris, and even walked our entire neighborhood gathering blown debris. After all the beautiful and detailed work was complete, they used a blower to clean the area, and even cleaned the deck rails. We are very pleased with the outcome, down to the smallest detail including blacking the white vent pipes to match the roof, and, straightest roof lines I've ever seen! And despite my best efforts, I haven't found a single stray nail!! Very impressed! We absolutely recommend Steve and Lifetime Exteriors!

  Steven and his crew replaced our roof and siding after the dreaded July hail storm in Rice Lake. I was immediately impressed with how quickly Steven responded to my request. He was at the house within a couple days. He supplied us with the many samples we requested and was so helpful in directing us with making our choices. Once the materials were delivered, his crew came in worked their butts off, got the roof done on both garage and house so quickly. The siding took a little over a week with rain playing a part. The guys did such a great job and I loved that they cleaned up after every day and did a magnet scan for screws. After they finished up Steven came and did a walk through with us. We had one tiny issue above our garage door that his guys took care of the next day. Steven and his crew also did our rental in RIce Lake with the roof and the siding as well. Both places were the same excellent experience. Both projects were done in a couple weeks. WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE LOOK OF OUR HOUSE !!!!! Overall, we were more than thrilled with Steven, his crew and the work they performed. I would definitely recommend them and if ever needed again I would not hesitate to use Lifetime Exteriors again.
