  I would have shared this review earlier but didn’t want to damage the reputation of the business. I was looking at putting solar panels on my roof so contacted several contractors for bids, one of which was Legacy Roofing. When I spoke to the individual on the phone I told him my roof was in pretty good shape but we were looking at installing solar panels. He asked if we had insurance and if there was any wind damage. I replied we did have insurance but to my knowledge no wind damage. He said they were pretty good at getting insurance claims through. After inspecting the roof he showed me a picture of a bent over/ creased shingle and said by submitting a claim he thought he could get insurance to replace the roof. I said I didn’t think the roof was bad but he said he thought insurance would replace it. I gave him the information to file a claim which he did and naturally it was denied. Now as I try to get a cheaper rate on my home insurance, the insurance company tells me they won’t insure me because a claim was filed even though nothing was paid out! Funny thing is I had an inspector and two other roofing companies inspect my roof for a bid and none of them found this damaged shingle. I think the Legacy estimator bent the shingle so he could get a roofing job- don’t trust them a bit!

  Legacy roofing did my roof and the result is great I'm not complaining about the work at all. However, we had an area of the roof that leaked which is what prompted getting a new roof. They built into our estimate what it would cost to fix that and then we paid with a debit card 50% down to get the roof done. So we didn't take out loans, we didn't finance it was essentially cash. While the roof was getting done the workers backed into my house and destroyed my siding, and ran over a flower garden and destroyed all the plants. We were assured that they would fix our siding and I wasn't super worried about the garden. The problems came after. First, we could not get them to send us a final invoice. I don't like owing people money and we had the cash in our bank account and I just wanted to pay it. we had to harass them two to three times a week before they sent us the final invoice about 6 weeks later. We paid it immediately within 24 hours. And then like 3 months later, out of nowhere, we got another bill for like 1800 bucks. It was to fix the roof where it was leaking even though that was already built into the estimate. My husband was going to take care of it, but he has a job that takes him out of town, and he was hard to get a hold of. They at no point attempted to call me and they sent it to collections. I of course paid that. And they never fixed the siding on my house. They also never sent us the warranty information. So beware.

  Sadly I have to write this negative review on a 4.9 stars business. The talk with Ryan was smooth and he went through everything with me pretty detail, literally the best part of the whole business, and that's is all. Because once Ryan's part done, we got left in the dark. They supposed to work on my house the beginning of November. But work had to postpone because according to the customer service, they got push back due to weather in Park City. Ok no issue. The issue is, not a single phone call, not any update until I have to reach out to them at the end of November. Whatever December came, it was 6am, I woke up one day from the loud banging noise on the roof and people talking right outside my window (room is on 2nd level) imagine me look out my window half asleep and didn't expect to see like 5 men, also looking at me thru my window. And yup that was the people from legacy roofing. Showed up unexpectedly, again, not a single message. I texted Ryan annoyingly. He apologized and said "Wow, I am really sorry to hear this. I am copying this to your profile and pinging the general manager and owner of the company." Finally, the work is done. Unfortunately they had to comeback later to fix something. Again, show up unexpectedly with no plan no heads up. Whatever bc it just 1 day thing. Finally done? No. Andreas, the person that supposed to be my "customer service" FINALLY reached out to me this time saying he will stop by for an inspection. Then we tryna make schedule (FINALLY) for them to comeback again for some small works. That was done a week ago. And again omg.. today I was just playing in the living room then heard the noise on the roof. I went out to see and just saw a man climbing down from my roof, again, unexpectedly, and both of us was confused 😀

  Not honest at all. Their sales and customer service people told us one thing (that additional OSB board would be charged only material), and then when it came time for us to pay the invoice, they charged us for material and labor, which wasn't what they had told us. We were willing to work with them, they were not. When I finally did get in touch with the owner to figure it out, he immediately began to yell, accused me of lying, and threatened to sue me. The crew themselves seemed like they did a good job. But there are plenty of other roofing companies around that will also do good work - go find one that will have some integrity and stick to their word. This company will not.

  I can not recommend this company. The first time they installed the tpo roof, it had all sorts of large wrinkles in it. They came out 2 more times and it still isn't that great. And to top off the 6 months of "we are done" they messed up the wiring to our swamp cooler! Do NOT use this company. Our experience was and unfortunately still is horrible. I also have to agree with another reviewer in saying that they are not professional. They can't keep appointments after the contract is signed.

  Don't use this company! They gave me a quote that I was happy about then charged me $2,200 more after the fact because they failed to tell me that "I could possibly need new wood under the roof" Other companies disclosed this but I felt that they led me away from that even having to happen. Very shady!

  I scheduled an appointment and arranged my day around them coming at 10 am. I texted and called with no response. Finally, at noon, he responded. I want a company that will respect my time and show up. If this is how legacy does buisness I want no part of it.

  After wasting over a month working with a competitor trying to get our roof replaced but running into many obstacles along the way. At the last minute, after having doubts about the company and the quote we got, we thought it would be a good idea to get another quote before going through with the other company. My husband called Legacy- who came the same day and gave us a quote for the exact same shingles and warranty but it over $10,000 cheaper than their competitor! Obviously we decided to go with Legacy and the process was smooth, straightforward and we couldn't be happier. They had our roof up so quickly and everything went great. The entire team at Legacy was amazing to work with. Dominic was our main point of contact and he touched base with us every step of the way and made sure we knew exactly what was going on. After the roof was finished, Dominic personally came back out to our house to use a magnet sweeper to make sure there weren't any nails or anything accidentally left in our yard. Our roof has been up for a week now and we've gotten several compliments on how great it looked and our neighbors even commented on how impressed she was about how nice and polite the crew was to her kids that were watching them and asking questions about their tools as they worked. They worked hard and fast but still provided excellent quality work. I can't say enough good things about this company. If you're looking for a roof- call and ask for Dominic and he will make sure you're taken care of. Lesson learned- always get more than one quote. However- we will be using Legacy again if we ever need another roof!! Big thanks to Dominic and team for doing an amazing job.
