We had great hope for this company. Very responsive when I emailed and booked an appointment online. Before sending a contractor, I explained the project we are needing done. The contractor arrived and talked extensively to my husband. He said he would get us an estimate ASAP, we didnt hound him because we knew it was the holidays. We never got our estimate or any other contact, except a thankyou note and a dog treat in the mail for our dog. Please dont waste your time contacting this company if you want actual work done. They essentially ghosted us after taking the time to send someone out to get us an estimate for our project.

Horrible to work with. Shotty sloppy work. Had roof, gutters, and part of siding replaced. One roof worker showed up smelling like marijuana and when I brought it up to PM, was told "it is just hemp and that's legal". Project should have only taken a day or day and half and was spread out over 2-3 weeks. Had big delay between downpayment and actual start date of work. Will promise one thing and then deliver another. Work item left out of contract and when I brought it up that it was left out at beginning, was assured it would be done but at end refused to do it. First time I used them and thought mabe it was just the workers but second time around and same thing. Only honest trustworthy employee is PM Peter.

We requested an estimate for new siding, windows, and constructing a new attached garage. the "Advisor" that was sent out has missed 4 or 5 of his own verbal deadlines for providing us some rough estimates, but he keeps saying he'll have numbers to me tomorrow. The closest I got was a couple of figures texted to me one evening, but it was only for siding, it did not include windows. still waiting on that; its been 3 weeks. If providing a rough estimate has been this difficult, I cant even imagine how this advisors projects must turn out.

Mr. Hughes, I apologize for your experience with our company. We strive to provide the best quality service and communication. It seems you have not received that. I reached out to your Client Advisor and he informed me that he has not received his numbers from our vendor yet. This should have been communicated to you. As you know, market prices are rising everyday. The old "rough numbers based on square foot" no longer apply. We have to call and see what product is even available today, then figure out the pricing on that. It is a new world we are all in. I will have James reach back out to you early next week with all of the information he has gathered and see how you would like to proceed. Thank You.

I wanted to be able to leave a good review for L&L, but unfortunately I am not able to do so. We scheduled a quote with L&L in late June. Ernie gave our house an assessment as well as took notes of all the projects my husband and I wanted to do (which were quite a lot). We found Ernie to be extremely polite and professional, so we were excited to choose L&L as our new go-to contractors. Unfortunately, we never received a quote from Ernie and it has been over 2 months. We have since found a different contracting group to do our projects.

Mrs. McNeeley. I am truly sorry you had this experience with our company. Our records show Ernie meeting with you on June 25th, I also have what appears to be a completed estimate in our system dated june 28th, however, it does show that it was never released to the client. I also show a follow up phone call on June 30th... Ernie is on vacation this week, once he is back in town I will discuss this with him and see what happened. Please feel free to reach out to me personally if you need any further assistance. I am sorry we lost our chance at showing you just how good we are. If you have any issues with your new contractor please give us another shot. Thank you. - Donald Lester CEO 615.971.2478

At L&L Contractors we vet our clients and their projects just as much as a potential client would research the contractor they are wanting to hire. Our motto is "The right remodel for the right reasons", as we are always looking for a win/win outcome. In this particular situation, we felt that this was not a project we wanted to pursue. We notified this client of our intent to withdraw our bid and obviously that did not make him Satisfied. When I personally spoke with this gentleman and explained our stance, he seemed respectful and understanding, even stating that he was not the kind of person to leave a negative review... It looks like our team made the right call. - CEO Donald Lester

We contacted L&L contractors to fix a water leak we had and then renovate our bathrooms, laundry room, mud room, update countertops, and replace carpet. We ask for a time line from the get go and we’re told it would take 10 days to get an estimate. That was on June 11 and to date we haven’t received anything. I have had to try to contact the estimator and 14 days after he saw our property he sent a drywall and painter out. He said he received the bid but has not submitted it to us. For a company that has lots of good reviews we have had an awful time with communication and just getting an estimate. If they didn’t want the job they could have just told us.

Mr Plassman, I regret you having this experience with our company. Our services are in extremely high demand at this time. Our Client Advisor should have set a more realistic expectation and definitely should have provided you a bid within his quoted timeline. With the high demand and manpower restrictions placed upon our vendors, it is taking much longer to get quotes to us than we are accustomed to. I will share your feedback with my team. This should never happen to any of our clients. Donald Lester - Owner

I recently hired L&L Contractors to do some pretty extensive work on the outside of my home: new windows, exterior doors, Hardie, soffits, fascia, gutters/downspouts, and a roof to cover my patio (my favorite part). I worked with Ernie and Peter and the crews they sent were professional, they kept everything as clean as possible, communicative, and I saw the project manager (Peter) multiple times/week. My experience dealing with L&L was much better than the last 2 contractors I have dealt with. I would highly recommend anyone looking to have work done on your home consider working with L&L.

We had a leak that showed up so we called L&L. Scheduling was easy and Brad was given our work order. In a world where you pray the contractor will show up, Brad sent me a text and was going to not only show up, but even a little early! He quickly assessed the situation, provided details and pictures of the problem, and suggested a fix. Some of the work was out of his wheelhouse but he provided me with phone numbers and names of people that would take care of us easily. He provided the services and work he could to fix the problem. So appreciative of the professionalism! I'll call L & L again whenever I need some assistance, highly recommend.

L&L Contractors did a beautiful job on our full siding replacement, gutters, and soffit. They also replaced our porch ceiling! From start to finish, the experience was excellent. Brad White handled the sales process with clear communication and professionalism, and Mark Robinson did a great job managing the project every step of the way. When a small issue did come up, Mark made sure it was resolved the right way — quickly and thoroughly. The finished work looks amazing, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Highly recommend L&L Contractors for anyone wanting quality craftsmanship and great service!

We we’re very happy with the gutter installation that L&L provided. The client advisor, Willie, was knowledgeable and transparent. Also the team finished the work quickly and at a reasonable price. Additionally, Willie also assessed our roof after a recent hail storm. While our roof is older and showing some normal wear he advised us that it wasn’t damaged in the storm to the point where insurance would cover a replacement. Furthermore it still had some life remaining and we could wait on replacing. We’ll definitely be working with L&L in the future. Update: we decided to replace our roof recently. While we solicited quotes from multiple contractors, ultimately the price and prior experience in working with L&L won us over. Just as before, the process was smooth and we were never left wondering when it would get scheduled, when it would be finished or the quality of the workmanship. Taryn Brashers, our project manager, was amazing… always providing clear communication and even had the team come out to fix some things she noticed weren’t right the first go-around. The level of trust they’ve earned with us will definitely have us calling L&L again for future home improvement projects.

Recently had our roof redone with L&L. Jeremy and Taryn were wonderful to work with and kept us updated along the way. We had an unexpected amount of rot, code issues, and other damage to our roof, that they took care of and got our roof up to code. Their warranties and price are not matched anywhere else. Very professional and I highly recommend them.
