After reading numerous Roofing and Siding Company reviews I decided to contact Kendhammer A-1. Kendhammer A-1 stood out to me because they had so many positive, valid reviews , as well as 5 stars. Gene Graffunder responded and came to my house. He assessed my roof, explained the Malarky shingle and the process to replacing my roof. Replacing a roof is a big investment and I appreciated all the info. I felt re-assured and I was not pressured to move quickly. The date was scheduled, and re-scheduled once due to high heat alert. I felt respect to this company who values the health of their workers. The 7 guys came as scheduled, roof shingles and materials were also delivered on time. No delays. Despite the agonizing heat, the guys worked diligently and very efficiently to get the job done. Great team work!! When all was done, they cleaned up every nail and roof scrap. Very appreciative and respectful bunch of really hard working guys. I really cant say enough....

This is a highly professional operation. Gene arrived at the house within 24 hours of contacting him for an estimate. His explanation and description of the entire roof replacement was clear, concise and as it turned out, one hundred percent accurate. More than helpful with my numerous questions. The crew showed up on time and the job was completed by the end of the day. The premises were left in spotless condition and the work finished to perfection. I could not have asked for more. My thanks to Gene and the entire Kendhammer A-1 crew for a perfect job. A pleasure to do business with these folks.

Greg and the crew did a fantastic job fixing and re-roofing the house after a branch fell on the roof. Got a quick quote and they were able to do the job a few days later. Everyone was nice and professional.

I switched to Kendhammer mostly because reviews online showed a professional and fair company. Gene himself was mentioned repeatedly as being professional and quick with his work. And he was. He was exactly who I needed to work with after my last experience. He bid the job correctly and quickly, helped with the insurance process, and oversaw the job until the end. Gene answered my questions quickly and understood what I needed and how to get there within my budget. I highly recommend Kendhammer and Gene to anyone. I should also mention the guys who did the actual labor- super professional and quick. They took care of my property and were considerate of my family’s unusual schedule and safety needs. I’ve had good, bad, and ugly experiences with contractors- but working with Kendhammer has been beyond excellent!

Had Kendhammer replace our rain gutters. We asked to have them done by a certain time and even with the crazy weather, they were able to get it done and did a great job.

Gene Graffunder is very knowledgeable about roofs and roofing! He was very thorough and willing to answer questions as we went through the process. I appreciate his attention to details so that we didn't face unplanned costs. Gene is the only person who actually inspected our attic to give us a quote. The only surprise was how fast the job was completed! The whole crew was very skilled and amazing to watch--methodical, professional, punctual and neat. Gene was great to work with and kept us informed from start to finish.

Kendhammer A-1 did an outstanding job transforming the exterior of our home. From start to finish, they were incredibly professional, and the entire team delivered excellent workmanship. Communication throughout the project was clear, consistent, and very much appreciated. Gene was especially great to work with. He listened to our ideas, offered thoughtful suggestions on what would look best, and always kept cost-efficiency in mind. He was constantly communicating with us about updates along the way. As we ran into small issues, they were able to come up with good solutions. The final result is wonderful looking house to come home to every day. All around, I would absolutely hire Kendhammer A-1 again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for top-notch siding work. Great company—thank you!

We talked to four roofing companies and Gene at Kendhammer was by far the most thorough, most transparent about cost, and the most responsive. They finished the job in quickly and left my property completely cleaned up and free of debris. Highly recommended! Full roof replacement and brought everything up to code. Gene an A+ professional.

Kendhammer A-1 did an awesome job on our new roof. They were very competitive in pricing, quality and warranty (after getting 3 other bids). We worked with Gene, who communicated with us at every step and answered all of our questions. The team was very thorough with all they did including the exceptional clean up of everything. The whole job took one day and the house looks great! Thanks for all your hard work!!

I highly recommend Kendhammer A-1 Roofing and Construction. I requested an estimate for a roof replacement and Gene responded within a couple of hours and we were able to get the process started within a few days. Gene was such a pleasure to work with and kept in communication with us throughout the entire process and brought some unknown issues to our attention that they went above and beyond to repair. The crew were so friendly and hardworking and everything was completely cleaned up when they were finished. Thank you so much to Gene and his crew!
